Author's Note: Hi, I'm so sorry for being inactive. I'm trying to update at least one story a week now. I have a whole bunch of stories that I'm going to start writing and planning. This is more of a filler chapter, to fill in the gap between second and third year. I disclaim, check some of the earlier chapters for disclaimers. I'll probably disclaim again in the next chapter.

The summer holidays were rather uneventful for the quartet. Carter spent hours at her parents' graves, showing her respects and trying to help herself feel less lonely. She also rested, whilst staying in regular contact with Albus, Rose and Scorpius. The mystery surrounding her parents' death was still unsolved by the authorities, being filed in the unsolved open pile, and there weren't many of those hanging around. It was likely that no one would bother to look at the case again, unless something similar ended up happening, and all other similar cases had to be looked at.

The quartet didn't really do much together over this lot of holidays. Sure, they stayed in contact with one another, and saw each other, maybe once or twice a month over the duration of the summer holidays. Which would probably equate to four or five times that they were together.

The train ride back to Hogwarts for the third time, consisted of discussion that one would expect after two and a half months of separation from one another. Activities, family, news and Quidditch were some of the more interesting topics discussed by the four amigos. In all honesty, Carter was happy to come back to Hogwarts, returning to what one might call a state of normalcy, or whatever the word is. The welcoming feast was better than it had been in previous years according to Carter. This was one point in time, where absolutely nothing went differently, or unexpectedly.

Author's Note: I'm sorry, I'm lazy and writing this quickly. Next chapter will be significantly longer, and more interesting.
