Okay Everyone, Here's the deal. If you've read one of my other stories I have just posted an Author's note that will tell you everything. If not here's a quick summary: I will put my other stories on hold for now and get to chapter 20 on this story then I'll put this story on hold and get to chapter 20 in another story so they will all have equal amounts. I need ideas for my other stories too if you would like to look at the stories then give me some ideas. Thanks and here I go...!

Chapter 12: Siblings?

Dick had just gotten home from work to find Mary Ella playing with her stuffed animals in her room and Zatanna studying for a test to see whether or not she could be qualified to teach kindergarten classes. Dick found Zee first and kissed her on the neck which startled her.

"Ahhh!" Zee yelled. She calmed down after she found who her 'attacker' was.

"Geez, Zee," Dick said as he smiled. "I'm not an assassin you know you don't have to scream." Dick laughed as Zatanna just smiled.

"Well, First of all, you should be glad that I wasn't holding that book, and Second of all, when am I supposed to know when you come into the house? You don't make a noise and then you just jump up out of no where as kiss me!" Zatanna said smiling. Dick laughed.

"Anyways," Dick said not wanting to get into a fight with his wife, "How about we go to dinner? Ollie and Dinah are coming into town for a while and offered to babysit if we needed it."

"What are they doing in Bludhaven?" Zee asked.

"Evidently, They had some meeting with the mayor so they thought to come and visit us since we live here." Dick simply stated.

"Oh, how nice, I should call them though.." Zee started to say but was cut off by Dick.

"No need they'll be here in 3...2...1...Now," As soon as Dick said 'now' a car horn honked. Zatanna looked out the window to find Dinah and Ollie coming to the front door with a bunch of gifts. Zatanna lightly chuckled then headed off and opened the door.

"Wow," Zatanna stated, "Got enough boxes there?" She joked. Ollie and Dinah set all the presents down on the coffee table in the living room.

"Hey!" Ollie started, "We missed out on little Ella's birthday so once I heard from Artemis that it was her birthday we went out and bought a few." He explained.

"A few?" Dick asked chuckling lightly. Ollie frowned and shook his head then smiled. Ollie opened his mouth to say something but Dinah cut in.

"A few of these are also from Wally and Artemis as well as Roy and Jade so not all of them are ours. They have the names of who their from on the boxes." Dinah explained more thoroughly.

"Oh, that makes a lot more sense, thanks Dinah, Ollie cannot explain very well," Dick said then chuckled.

"Haha, Very funny," Ollie stated. Dinah chuckled followed by Zatanna.

"Anyways, Ella's upstairs, I'll go get her." Zatanna said then took a few steps tell she was stopped.

"No I'll go get her, I'll surprise her," Ollie said then smiled. Zee let him go upstairs and Mary and Ollie soon came back down.

"Yay! I get to be babysat by Ollie and Dinah?" The little black-haired girl asked her mom and dad. They both shook their heads then walked to their room to get changed while Mary, Ollie, and Dinah started to play a game of Guess Who? Dick and Zatanna soon came back downstairs and said their goodbye's then left. They went to a fancy restaurant then sat down. It was quite for about two minutes until Dick broke the silence.

"We need to talk," Dick simply said. That little statement got the magician worried.

"Okay, we can talk, but if you're trying to get a divorce it's not going to be so easy," She said in a jokingly manner. Dick laughed.

"No, I don't want to divorce you, Zee, I would never do that," Dick said. This time it was Zatanna's turn to laugh.

"Okay, go ahead, what do you want to talk about then if it isn't about a divorce?" Zee said. Dick took a deep breathe.

"I want Mary to have a sibling," Dick simply stated. Zatanna froze. She wasn't ready to give up her life to have another child, she was just barely getting to work again. "Zee? Are you okay?" Dick asked worried because Zatanna had frozen in place. Zee snapped out of her trance.

"What?" She asked knowing what he had asked. Dick was about to speak before Zatanna cut him off. "I know, I know what you said, Dick, but, honestly I'm not sure that I want to give up everything right now. I've been working so hard just to try to get back to working and I still haven't even taken that test yet. I don't want to dump everything down the drain Dick, please understand." Zatanna said sighing. Dick picked up on her guilt and stroked her cheek.

"Zee, I-I never thought about it that way. I-I" Dick started but was cut off by Zatanna once more.

"No need to apologize, Dick. I think that It would be best that Mary had another sibling anyway, so she won't feel so lonely. She's already not socializing with others in the neighborhood so It would be good for her to had a sibling to get to know and take care of." Zee said. They both smiled. They talked about plans and more during dinner then came home to a huge mess of wrapping paper. Mary Ella had ended up wrapping Dinah and Ollie so tight that Zatanna had to magically get them undone. They said their goodbye's then left leaving the family of three-soon to be four hopefully- in the living room picking up.

They all went to bed later with something on their mind. Mary thinking of all the candy she's have as well as her presents and the looks on Dinah and Ollie's face when she wrapped them in wrapping paper, Dick, with the thought of how happy Mary will be when she has a sibling to play with, and Zatanna, with a worry some thought of having to go through child birth again. She knew she had to tell Dick sometime soon before she got pregnant so she decided tomorrow would be a good day to mention it. Soon everyone was asleep in the house, even Zatanna.

Sorry if it sounded really bad I'm really tired right now because I'm doing this at like almost midnight so It's kinda hard to think when your tired. Did that sound weird? Well I hope you liked it!
