Patricia's POV
"Excuse me?" I asked, hoping that I had misheard what she had just said.
"You're having quadruplets," she repeated.
Blank…
"Sorry?" This time, Eddie asked.
"Okay, both of you. I know this is a big shock… YOU'RE HAVING QUADRUPLETS," she said, making sure she sounded loud and clear.
"I thought you said twins?" Eddie and I said in unison.
"Yes. At the time, the two were hiding behind the visible two…" she trailed off.
"So… that's 4 babies…" I said.
"Sure is," Kareen sounded excited. Although I didn't want that many children, I… hell, I didn't even want ONE! I'm stuck with them now, I might as well try like them…
"Yacker?" Eddie said, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yea?"
"What do you wanna do?" he asked, rubbing his eyes.
"What CAN I do?" I asked.
"Well, you could give up all or some for the adoption agency…" Kareen said.
"NO!" Eddie and I both shouted, looking at her.
"Okay, okay, just a suggestion!" Kareen said, holding her hands up.
"I'm keeping them. All of them," I said in a small but firm voice to show that this case was now closed.
"Okay then. But because there is 4 babies inside you, not 1, you'll have to have a C-section, at about 6-7 months," she said, frowning. "And then they'll have to be in the incubator for a couple of weeks or so," she added.
"Kay," I said, getting off the bed and wiping the gel stuff off of me.
"W-w-wait! Don't you wanna know the genders?" she asked.
"Nope," I said, walking out of the room. I glanced back and saw Eddie shrug at Kareen.
No wonder I'm so big…

3 weeks later
I had now gotten bigger (if that was even possible!) and was at about 6 months. After Eddie's continuous nag of finding out the genders of the babies, today, I decided to go.
"C'mon, Weasel, we're going to be late!" I shouted, annoyed.
"I'm coming, Yacker…" he replied.
"You take waaaaay to long…"

"Patricia Williamson-Miller?" the nurse called. As usual, Eddie and I got up and headed to Kareen's office.
"Peddie! How are you?" she asked, excitedly.
"What the hell is Peddie?" I rudely asked.
"Patricia and Eddie together. Your couple name!" she squealed. Ag…
"So would you like to find the genders out today?" she asked, once she had applied the cold gel stuff on me.
"Yes!" Eddie 'squealed'… again…
"Okay!" Kareen said, smiling and moving the scanner up and down.
"I'm going to label them A, B, C and D. Baby A is… Congrats! A girl! Then Baby B is… also a girl! Baby C is… a boy, and so is Baby D!" she finished.
"Aw…" Eddie said. I smiled.
"So about when are they due?" I asked, not wanting to be big much longer.
"They're not too big, so for another 2 and a half to 3 weeks or so. So I'd presume… 16th of November? Somewhere there… Remember, the due date is around when you should be expecting them, not when they MUST be born. Yes, they can come on that day, but it's not a must. But you'll be having a C-section, so let's schedule it for then, yea?"
"You take forever to get to the point…" I mumbled under my breath. Luckily she didn't catch it.
