Your eyes were closed, but you slowly opened them as you pulled away from the blonde teen. A small smile that formed on your face soon turned into a grin, then a blinding white smile that was filled with joy. You stared at Lloyd, who had a lovey-dovey look on his face. "C'mon Prince Donnagin, it's getting late. Plus, I didn't exactly tell my parents where I went."
"Yeah, yeah. We can go... Crap, I need a nickname for you too if you keep calling me Prince Donnagin." He snaps his fingers an points at me, "Got it! I'm going to call you my Imperial Sludge!" You burst out laughing, "Oh really now?" The two of you laughed and giggled the whole way back to your house, and on the back of a four-headed dragon, you realized you had not only gained a boyfriend, but a best friend. Those girls weren't your friends, and you found yourself with them just to fit in. You wrapped your arms a little bit tighter around his waist as the dragon soared through the clouds, not wanting to fly down into reality.

A week later:

Lloyd's POV

The guys make so much fun of me now that I had a girlfriend. They said she made me softer, the one person who can defeat the "green ninja". Yeah sure, my heart soared every time I saw (YN), but it never interfered with my training, until she came over...
It was one of those days that were super hot, but also one of those days where Sensei made you train, all day! We were all sweating, even Zane, who almost never sweated. During a break, I came to realize that I hadn't seen the Ultra Dragon in a while. Apparently our thoughts were in sync, because my four headed dragon roared and landed on the food of the bounty, with a tiny passenger on his back. "(YN)?" I asked in astonishment, not quite sure if it was her or not. The person slid out of the harness and walked over to us.
"Hey Prince Donnagin." Recognizing the nickname, I quickly replied, "What's up Imperial Sludge?" I pulled (YN) into a big hug, and she squirmed out of it as quick as possible. Why wouldn't she want a hug? And then I remembered…
"Oh my gosh don't hug me! You are SO sweaty! EW EW EW!" She shook her hands around, trying to wipe off every part of her body that touched my sweatiness.
"Sorry..." was all I could say."But since you're already disgusting..." I charged at (YN), throwing her over my shoulder, listening to her squeal all the way to the living room. At her request to be put down, I dropped her onto the couch, plopping down next to her. I handed her a controller, "Bet I can beat you in (insert favorite video game here)."
"Bring it!"
We played for several hours straight before the final blow knocked me unconscious. Not literally, but in the game. I threw my controller down in disgust, "That was pathetic!"
"You mean YOU were pathetic! I totally beat you!" (YN) jumped off the couch, stretching a bit before doing an "I win, you lose" dance.
"So, how did you get on my dragon?" I asked, bringing up the sudden appearance earlier this morning.
"He came to me. I found him in my yard, knocking over one of my mom's stupid garden gnomes."
"And so you just decided to get on and come to the Bounty? Did you at least tell your parents?"
"Yeah, I said I was going to my friend's house."
"Parents, they'll believe anything. So um, will you ever introduce me to them then?"
"No! You are a secret!" I'm a bit shocked until she continues, "Of course I'll tell them, and you can come over soon. You are just busy a lot. I'm sure they will like you. You are very likable." She leans into my shoulder, wrapping her arms around my chest. "Hmm, thank you."
"For what?" I ask, looking down at (YN).
"For showing me who my true friends are."
"Oh. Well, you're welcome then." I kissed the top of her head, and she rested it on my lap, falling asleep quickly. "So beautiful, I'm so lucky." I whisper, stoking her hair softly.

(YN)'s POV

He stokes my hair, running it through his fingers. I hear him whisper something to me, but I'm too out of it to morph it into something logical. I close my eyes tighter, leaning into his touch. Then I hear him say a bit louder, "Thank you (YN), for being the light in my world of darkness." I dreamt of many things, but they all traced back to Lloyd somehow. It was a perfect nap.

When I woke up, Lloyd was gone, his lap replaced by a single pillow. Of course, he's probably already training... However, when I looked up at the clock, I found it was 3:30, in the morning! But still, where was Lloyd? I-I was kind of disappointed that he wouldn't stay with me, at least until he usually has to train. But I figured I should ask someone where he went, so I went to the bridge to see who was on duty. The coffee maker was still bubbling, and Kai's cheek was smushed flat on the control panel he was passed out on. "Uh, hello? Kai? Aren't you supposed to be on duty?" No answer. Okay then? New tactic? "Kai! Sensei is going to kill you!" I barely had to finish my sentence before spiked hair shot up, sputtering, "Huh? Sensei? No no, I was totally awake, I was just..." And he dozed off again. "Ugh! I'm getting nowhere with you, I'm asking your sister!"
"Yeah, sensei, ask Nya to train..."
"Argh!"

"Nya?"
"Huh? What? Oh, (YN). What's up?"
"Do you know where Lloyd went?"
"Uh, yeah. I vaguely remember him saying something about your parents?"
"Oh, okay. Uh, thanks?"
"No problem..." And soon, Nya was back asleep as well. Looks like 3:30 AM is not a productive question asking time. So, what did Lloyd want with my parents? I guess I should go check.

When I got to my parents house, using the ultra dragon (he crashed into at least 3 lamp posts on the way there), I was surprised to see Lloyd sleeping on the couch. I knocked on my parents' door, and when my dad opened it, he yelled out in surprise and hugged me tight. "(YN)! I'm glad your back! How was your nap?"
"My...nap? You knew? And you're not mad?"
"Oh yeah, Lloyd explained everything. He's very polite. And he's a legendary hero!"
"So that's why he's here? He came to explain why I was gone? Oh she's so awesome!" Suddenly my mom popped her
head into the doorway, next to my dad, "I know right! He is the sweetest little boy!"
"Mooom, he's not a little boy!"
"Well, I'm not little, that's for sure." Another voice added. I pivoted on my heel to face Lloyd. "Lloyd! You're awake!"
"And so are you. Nice timing by the way, I love getting up at 3:30."
"Sorry..."
"I'm kidding. Um, so Mr. and Mrs. (YLN), I have to get back to the bounty, sorry for stealing your daughter."
"No problem, see you Lloyd!" My mom turned toward me, "Now, for that punishment."
"For what?! Lloyd told you where I was!"
"For lying to us in the first place."
"Aw, crap."

Yay! Another crappy ending! And another update! I felt really bad, cause I had this one started on my phone like 2 months ago, but I never finished it. So when I started writing Zane's, I found this and remembered that I needed to finish, so I did! Anyways, glad to be back. Once summer starts, I'll update a lot more. Oh, do you want me to delete the 2nd chapter on this that isn't really a chapter? Or should I leave it? Also, don't be afraid to leave ideas for me, they help a lot! Ok I'll shut up now, bye!
