Author's Note: Hi! Sorry I took so long again. I think my brain kinda froze over the January... You may notice this is not a full chapter again - I am really sorry tha I am doing this, but I wanted to post something before the end of February and I just couldn't think of the rest of this Reaping. But I think it's pretty good...(although there probably will be loads of mistakes - feel free to critisise!) So enjoy and please review - it makes me write faster, I swear!

Disclaimer: I do not own Hunger Games. I own several characters (president Crystal, Lara, Gamemakers, Stylists,...), but I do not own the characters of the tributes (except Taylor Sandbloom and probably the Capitolan Tributes).

District Four: Reaping - Part One

Clara's POV

"Good morning!" I greeted everyone. I knew that I have to keep everyone's spirits up. I knew that Bridget had the biggest reason to worry, after all she was 17, which made her the oldest reapable member of the family, but i knew that if I let the family worry, thay'll remeber Sam and...

After he died in the Games, my father worked much more than he had to. He just closed himself up and we almost didn't see him. Now, almost 8 years later, it is better - but only just.

My sister yawned and greeted me as well: "G'morning!" My parents only smiled, but I could see the pain in my father's eyes and the slightly reddened eyes of my mother. So they did remember.

"I see you're all set up to go?" mum asked. She was right, I was already dressed in my favourite green dress with a white ribbon around my waist. I also had my curly brown hair tied back, so it didn't fall in my face.

"Yes, I would only like to eat something," I smiled. Mum smiled back and handed me the plate with my breakfast.

Nico's POV

"Dad? Where are you?" I called out as I ran down the street. I knew that the fact that he's missing means that we will have tasty lunch.

"Here, Nico!" happy voice rang from the beach. "It's perfect weather for fishing!"

"For you it's always perfect!" I laughed. "But we need to go, the Reaping is going to start soon!"

"Oh come on, let's not go there this year. They would never pick you!"

"But what if they will? I do not want you to be punished for not being there."

"Daddy!" a small girl, my six-year old sister Cassidy ran to us. "I found a glowing crab!"

"Oh, really? Let's go see it then!"

"No, dad, we have to go!" Sometimes I felt like I was the parent. "We will go see it after the Reaping."

Cassidy looked at me with her cute big eyes. "You promise?"

"I promise," I said.

P.S. Yes, I know that the "promise part" is a bit cliché and also cruel to that little girl, but I couldn't resist. So what did you think? I'll try to finish this Reaping as soon as possible - I promise!

P.P.S. I am sorry I'm not posting any quests(ions), I found out I totally forgot to note how was I rating the reviews and stuff, so I have to redo it a bit and as soon as that is done, I'll post it and start with the quest(ions) again.
