Alright guys, it's about time I just came out and said it. The reason this story has slowed down so much is because I've been battling depression, it has made doing anything such a hassle including writing, something I love to do. My life is at a bit of a stand still so I apologize. I apologize for the delay, bear with me please. Again the story is not abandoned.

Here it is, Chapter 19

Chapter 19

Wally had agreed to take Batman's advice, he went back home to Barry and Iris's and chose to take a few weeks off and see where he wanted to go from there. He needed to make a decision. Whether to quit the team or rejoin and try to fix all the damage he had created for the past few months. It had already almost been two weeks of staying with Barry and Iris trying to pull himself back together. They were supportive of course but it didn't make a difference, no matter what he did he couldn't get over the pain he caused his friends. However he couldn't get out the words Dick had said before he left, they were willing to get hurt for him. They would've done anything to get him back..including sacrifice Roy and Artemis. Wally looked away from the window he had been staring out of. He growled in frustration and grabbed his hair in his hands trying to sort out his jumbled thoughts. "They could die...and it's all my fault." He said to himself as he stared at the floor.

"It isn't your fault!" A voice yelled from outside.

Wally jumped up and looked out the window, "What the-?!"

Dick Grayson sat in the tree outside his window. Wally opened the window, "What are you doing here Dick?!" Wally frowned.

Dick shook his head. "Don't pretend to be mad at me! I had to come check on you it's been almost two weeks, I was worried. You hadn't texted me or anything. You haven't talked to anyone. I'm worried." Dick said honestly.

Wally shook his head, "How do you know I'm not talking to anyone? I'm talking to people."

Dick shook his head and jumped into Wally's room through his window and sat on the window seat. "No you haven't I have your phone bugged, you haven't talked to anyone."

"Dick!" Wally groaned, "Stop bugging all my stuff!"

"I can't help it Walls I was worried about you. You haven't talked to anyone, you haven't been yourself, you need to open up about it."

"I don't need the therapy Dick, I just need to be alone-"

"Why? So you can make yourself more depressed? That's not healthy and you know it. Your Aunt and Uncle are terrified for you Wally."

Wally sighed, "I know..." They stayed silent for awhile when finally the silence was broken by Dick.

"Artemis woke up you know." Dick said.

Wally looked up immediately, "How is she doing?! Is she okay?! How bad is she?! Is she recovering okay?! What has she said?!" Wally started asking questions all at once leaving Dick very little time to process it all but of course the hacker kept up fine.

"She is doing fine. She is healing and only has a few broken bones, she is recovering faster than expected, and she wants to see you." Dick said answering everything he heard.

Wally paused, "She wants to see me?"

Dick nodded, "Yeah man, she's worried about you. Even if you haven't come to a decision could you at least come and see everyone? We are all worried sick. Black Canary keeps trying to put us in therapy again."

Wally smiled a little at this, he sighed and looked out the window again. "I don't want to see everyone yet Dick. Not all at once, I'm not ready for that yet. Whether you agree or not, I caused everyone pain and that isn't something I can forgive myself for so easily. I hurt the people I care about and I won't let that go as if it was nothing." Wally said as he turned to look at his best friend. "I need to see Artemis though. As hard as it will be I need to see her to apologize. If nothing else I need to do this. I hurt her and I need to see how she is doing. I owe her that much."

Dick nods, "Then we will make it to where you will only see her. We can wait and meet up with the others another day. I'll tell Black Canary or Red Tornado to keep the entrance to the Med Bay clear so we don't have to worry about it. She's still in the Med Bay because we are making sure she is completely healed before we release her for anything so don't worry Walls. She is in good care. So is Roy."

Wally cringed slightly and looked away, Roy was the one he had seriously hurt out of everyone...they weren't sure if he was going to make it or not. The odds didn't look good but Dick wasn't about to tell him that. Dick put his hand on Wally's shoulder. "I've already got your uncle and aunts permission if you want to go. They are just wanting you to leave you room for a bit. They're worried about how long you've kept to yourself."

Wally stayed quiet for awhile and finally after a few minutes he nodded. "Alright I'll go."

Dick smiled and nodded to his door. "Door or the tree buddy."

Wally rolled his eyes and headed to the door. "I'm not going down the tree." He said.

Dick shrugged. "Suit yourself." He jumped out the window and climbed down the tree just to prove a point. Wally smiled slightly and went out the door to head to the cave for the first time in two weeks.
