I'm not even sure what to say to you guys...I feel awful about not updating and stuff...so...sorry? I feel bad, I swear. I just had very little inspiration for this story, so writing it became more of a chore. BUT! BUT BUT BUT! I am keeping true to my word and not abandoning it. The update schedule will most definitely be a little erratic, but I will finish this story if it kills me! Some of you read this? Right? If you actually got this far I am challenging you to put the word 'doodle' in your review. It has to flow and actually fit in there. So do your best! Also, big news for me! I just found out that my crush likes me back! AAAH! Back to FanFiction: I am putting their class as Greek, because I have heard of some schools that offer that course. Okay, enjoy the chapter!

Anyways, enjoy the chapter.
Annabeth P.O.V. (Which I'm not thrilled about. Do you think I should try from a mortal's point of view? Let me know.)
Percy and I strolled into Greek class without a care in the world. We had been talking about whether or not we considered Clarisse our friend, enemy, or maybe a little of both. After Percy offered up the word 'frienemy' which isn't a real word, so I hadn't known it existed, we agreed that perfectly summed up our relationship with Clarisse. It means you're friends with the person, but they're also your rival. I usually tend to not like made up words, but this one was acceptable.
In the classroom there were two desks sort of toward the back of the room, but of course Percy and I didn't mind. We were planning on passing notes anyways.
The teacher hustled in a couple minutes after the bell. He looked pretty cool (And I'm sure you're wondering by this point: Annabeth! Is it Mr. Brunner? No, it isn't Mr. Brunner A.K.A. Chiron. Notice how I said hustled? He walked in on two legs, dummy. Be a little more observant next time) and he looked to be in his late twenties. He was tall and slim wih short brown hair. He was carrying a dark, leather messenger bag and a couple of papers in his hand that had light tan coffee rings on them.
Once he had placed his belongings on his desk and made it to the front of the classroom, he smiled at us apologetically.
"Hey, guys," he said while gasping slightly for air.
He flipped the switch on the smart board in the front of the class. The screen flickered to life, and showed the agenda for the day, written in Greek. Percy and I flipped open our notebooks and quickly jotted it down. It took less than a minute. Then we turned and started playing paper football on our desks.
The teacher walked over and looked at us accusingly.
"Percy, as well as you seem to manage in my class, I do not want you to be dragging down the new student, all right? Please open your binders and copy down the agenda."
I started to laugh and held out a hand for the teacher to shake.
"My name is Annabeth Chase, sir. I'm fluent in Greek, as well as being able to write and read it," I informed him with a smile.
He shook my hand and introduced himself as Mr. Ferroe.
"It's suprising to have two fluent kids in one school, much less one class!" he exclaimed as the other kids continued to struggle through the agenda.
"Oh, it's not that suprising, considering I taught Percy all he knows," I said lightheartedly, teasing Percy.
"Hey! Well - " Percy faltered, "Uh, should I be offended by that?"
I sighed. Percy is such a Seaweed Brain.
"No, you shouldn't," Mr. Ferroe reassured him quickly, smiling at me, "Miss Chase here seems quite brilliant."
I blushed a little, though I was used to the compliment. People calling me smart is always such a wonderful feeling.
"So how do you guys know each other?" he asked politely.
Percy grinned and told Mr. Ferroe that I was his girlfriend.
"But we've been best friends for four and a half years now," I said proudly.
"Wonderful. I believe the rest of the class is ready to move on now, but in the future, please refrain from playing paper football during class. The other students find it a bit, well... disrupting," he said with a smile and a twinkle in his eye.
I definitely liked this teacher.
About half-way through class, Mr. Ferroe interrupted my train of thought, asking Percy and I to make our way to the front of the class and give a demonstration on past-tense verbs in Greek. I'll copy down our conversation in English for you, because you're not a demigod... at least, I hope you're not. You do know you are using an electronic device right now, right? Oh my gods, get off! Before they find you!
...Good. Now that any possible demigods are offline and safe, courtesy of me, let's get back to the story.
Percy and I rose from our seats and walked up to the front of the classroom.
"What are we supposed to talk about?" Percy asked in Greek.
"I'm not sure,"I replied, thinking, "How about we tell a story?"
"Okay," Percy responded with a shrug.
"Once upon a time, there was a boy," I began.
Percy butted in, exclaiming,"The boy was awesomely awesome and all the other kids were jealous!"
We laughed for a second, thinking about how much of a loser Percy had been when he arrived at Camp.
I took a breath and continued with the "made up" story.
"This boy was special, so he went to a summer camp for other kids like him. While he was there he met another camper who was special, too. They both went on a magnificient adventure with their other friend. They were on a scavenger hunt, and they won the game. They played many games, not all of them scavenger hunts, but all of them adventures. And the so-called 'Three Musketeers' won them all. Then the camp realized there was an evil coming. So the special kids, the Three Musketeers, joined the fight. And the three of them won the battle. And they saved the entire world from destruction. The End."
Percy and I were snickering the whole time, and Mr. Ferrae looked at us kinda weird. We trooped back to our seats and I went back to designing a new Statue of Liberty.
I glanced up when Mr. Ferroe didn't continue talking right away, and realized the rest of the class was staring at us.
"What?" I demanded, a little uncomfortable with all the stares.
I mean, sure, Percy and I are heroes, but the other halfbloods don't stare at us. These kids seemed to have no manners.
"You just spoke so fast in Greek!" A boy yelled out, as if that explained everything.
"It was quite fast, Annabeth. And you speak with more of an ancient tongue. If you don't mind me asking - Where did you learn Greek?" Mr. Ferroe inquired, trying to play off his interest as nonchalant.
"Well, my Grandpa taught me. It's a family tradition. He learned it from his father before him, and so on and so on. I guess that's why it sounds so old," I offered, sounding innocent.
As I've said before, years of being a runaway can teach you how to act meek.
"Hmm, well, that sounds lovely," Mr. Ferroe told me, and he began to direct the class again.
After Greek class let out Percy and I headed towards lunch. While we were walking down the hallway, two boys joined us and fistbumped Percy.
"Ooh, Perce, who's this?" one of the boys asked creepily.
"Annabeth Chase, Hea- I mean, girlfriend of Percy Jackson," I told him, holding out a hand to shake.
On the inside, I was spazzing out. I had almost announced myself as the Head Architect of Olympus!
The guy looked at me weird and put his hand out to fistbump me instead. I shrugged and obliged.
The other guy started laughing, but stopped when he saw my face.
"Annabeth?!" he said in disbelief.
I studied him for a second and sighed, recognizing his face.
"Hello again, Josh," I said wearily.
"I thought it was odd when I heard the name Annabeth, but I mean, it's like a million in one shot that it would actually be you...I mean, well, you look so different, and -" he started rambling.
I cut him off by snapping, "Yeah, I'm pretty now, and I don't look like a nerd. I get it."
Percy injected himself into the conversation by saying, "You know Josh?"
Josh blushed and looked down at his shoes.
"Well, Percy, meet Josh: My first ever bully."
