Author's Note: Sorry for the really late update, I've been really busy with school and stuff, plus I've been suffering from a bad case of writer's block. I'm going on the record by saying that I'm not sure if I remember correctly the little details that I had written before so if there are any discrepancies, please notify me and I will fix them. I have a tendency to only skim through my work so if I miss anything let me know, thanks!
"Oh, you have got to be freaking kidding me," she groaned, "I'm so going to murder Stella for this," she hissed with annoyance.
"You and me both," the person beside Musa growled dangerously. He hadn't wanted to go, but Stella had threatened to tell Musa some things that Riven may have confided in Brandon. He always knew that Brandon was not to be trusted, especially because he was not the one who wore the pants in his relationship.
Musa looked over at her companion and huffed before shaking her head at him.
"How did she even get you to come?" Musa rolled her eyes.
"She said that she would tell someone something that I had said to Brandon because I thought that I could trust him to keep my secret," Riven replied cryptically.
"What's that supposed to mean?" she gave him a funny look.
"Why do you care?" he huffed and turned away from her, looking across the club, just knowing that Stella had to be there somewhere within the masses. When I get my hands on that blonde pixie…he silently thought to himself.
"Ugh," Musa shook her head in frustration, her eyebrows crossed and her mouth taut, "you are so difficult."
"What's that supposed to mean?" he said with a falsetto, further making her eyebrows furrow. He could see the piercing glare in her eyes and could just barely see the flames of a fire in her eyes. I have to be careful, her anger is about to be brought upon me, he warned himself in the confines of his mind.
"This is why we could never work out," she said pointedly and quickly turned away from him, walking quickly through the club with a purpose. She ignored the music, so angered that she could feel her emotions resonating through her ear canals.
"Well that went well," Riven sighed. He leaned back against the bar and bowed his head, shoulders slumped in defeat and hair hanging over his brow.
"Hey there sexy," a sultry voice hovered near his right ear. He cocked his head in the direction of the sound and peeked through the tips of his hair to see a beautiful, tall, thin blonde standing in front of him.
He shrugged inwardly, blondes were never his type, but he was still feeling dejected that he could never do anything right about Musa so he needed a distraction. Calling upon his powers of a male, he slowly lifted his head and gave the female his best smoldering eye.
"And whom do I have the pleasure of meeting?" his deep, husky voice resonated throughout the space the blonde and him occupied.
"The name is Lotus," she purred, giving him a sneak peek of her pearly white teeth.
"Lotus? Hmmm," he contemplated what he was going to say next before responding with his own flash of his teeth, "what a beautiful name for a gorgeous woman."
Lotus giggled and placed her small hand over her mouth.
"Don't make me blush," her light airy voice rang out like nails on a chalkboard to his ears. He much preferred Musa's assertive, musical voice.
I'm even thinking of her when I'm with a different person he visibly shook his head.
"Is something the matter?" Lotus asked, her eyes losing their twinkle.
"Yes, there is something very much the matter!" a shrieking voice interrupted the pair.
Riven whipped his head around only to be greeted with a hulking slap to the face.
SLAP!
He could feel the pain shoot out like tendrils to the tip of his noise down to his chin. There were pins and needles where the hand had connected with his cheek and he could feel the immense amount of heat that was beginning to seep into his cheek.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Riven growled, his hands clenching in fists and chest rising rapidly with each punctured breath.
"I can't believe you would do something like this!" the high pitched voice lectured again.
SLAP!
Riven growled with annoyance at this little pixie in front of him that kept slapping him.
"I can leave if you want," Lotus muttered, eyes darting between the blonde that was standing next to her and the magenta-haired man on the other side.
"I think that's for the best," the blonde said through clenched teeth.
Lotus nodded and scuttled away from the confrontation at hand.
The blonde in front of him raised her hand again as if to slap him once more.
"Stella, I swear, if you touch me, I will be forced to hurt you," Riven warned, his eyes looking very sinister and a dark shadow crossing his face.
"I just can't believe you would do this to the love of your life," Stella's eyes widened in disbelief. She crossed her arms in front of her chest and stared disapprovingly at Riven.
"What do you care?" Riven growled, rubbing his cheek, attempting to stop the pins and needles.
"So you do still love her?" Stella pounced on his poor choice of words.
"What? No, I never said that," Riven stuttered, not sure where Stella had come to that conclusion. It might have been true that he still loved Musa deep down inside, but there was no way that he was going to tell that blonde pixie. That news would be spread from Solaria to Melody in a matter of two seconds.
"Why can't you two just admit your feelings for each other? I'm so sick of trying to get you two back together, you have to do it for yourselves," Stella, ever one to butt in, scuffled. She waved her hands in the air and Riven could sense the frustration coming from the blonde fluffball.
"Just give up," Riven growled, he was definitely not in the mood to discuss getting back together with Musa, and especially because he felt a twinge in his heart when Stella mentioned them having to get back together themselves.
"You are as stubborn as always," Stella narrowed her eyes at the specialist, silently wishing that he would finally have the courage to have a real conversation with Musa about what actually happened and why. She tried to peer deep down to the depths of his feelings with her eyes, but sighed in defeat and through her arms up in the air.
"Fine, be stubborn," Stella exasperatedly sighed.
"That's what I've always been and what caused Musa to break up with me…" his voice trailed off in a whisper as he turned away from Stella and hustled out of the club, thinking about the black haired musical fairy the whole way.
"I can't believe him," she yelled through clenched teeth as her face hit the fresh cool air of the dark night. She could see the various lights that were flaring bright on every corner, making patches of light in the midst of the darkness.
She started to pace outside the door to HaLo, not really sure what she should do from there. He always got her in such a frenzy that she never knew what she should do with herself afterwards.
"Excuse me? Miss?" a stranger asked hesitantly, sensing the anxiety radiating from the petite black haired fairy in front of him.
"Oh, I'm causing a commotion, I'm sorry," Musa bowed her head and turned the other way to begin her walk back to the Solarian castle. She could have called someone to pick her up or she could even have just used her magic, but she wasn't in the mood for a rushed ride home. Walks helped to clear her mind and it would take a long walk to get rid of the memories of Riven. Whenever she thought of him it was like glue sticking to her mind, she could never get him out of her head once she started.
I can't believe him. Then again, I don't really know why I'm mad…
'"Oh, you have got to be freaking kidding me," she groaned, "I'm so going to murder Stella for this," she hissed with annoyance.
"You and me both," the person beside Musa growled dangerously.
"How did she even get you to come?" Musa rolled her eyes.

"What's that supposed to mean?" he said with a falsetto.
"This is why we could never work out," she said with a growl and turned to walk away."'
The memory of what had just occurred popped into her head. Looking back on it she realized that it hadn't really been Riven's fault, she was mainly just annoyed that Stella had tried to set them up and then being in the presence of Riven she got flustered and annoyed.
She sighed and with her sigh came a lot of her anger and frustration. In its place, guilt had begun to seep in.
I should go apologize….
