Chapter 20
The winx walked away from the garden back to the lawn where the party was going on.
"Come on, let's go backstage!" Musa cheered, dragging Stella and Techna. Techna caught hold of Musa who caught hold of Flora and Stella caught hold of Bloom who caught hold of Aisha. Soon, there was a long train and the girls moved backstage.
"Time for ... OUTFITS!" Stella squealed. Musa winced slightly. "Dude, go easy on her sonic ears." Techna said teasingly. The girls burst into fits of giggles, as Stella huffed. She waved her hand, and with that, everyone's outfit changed.
Stella was wearing a black corset tank top with orange polka dots and ruffles on the bottom. She was also wearing a black skirt with black leggings with an orange belt which had chains attached to it. Her boots were orange with a black tie wrapped on top. Her hair was tied up with a black tie which had an orange and yellow star. She also wore silver loop earrings.
Flora wore a black corset with a pink ribbon in the middle. She wore a pink sweater with a hot pink skirt and a black belt. She wore black boots and her hair was left open.
Musa was wearing a light pink woolen tank top with a hot pink jacket that has a dark bluish grey stripe across the chest and the cuffs. She wore a pink and maroon plaid skirt with grey lace trimming and dark blue- grey leggings underneath. She wore a pair of wedge heel laced up boots with light pink trimming on the edges, heels, and toes. They were laced up with pink ribbons which ended up in a bow. She wore a pair of bluish grey socks with grey laces on the trim. Her hair was tied up into two long pigtails with thick pink hair ties with white polka dots on them. She also wore silver dangle earrings.
Aisha wore a lime green tank top which had a black star on it and a lace finger less glove on one hand. Her jeans were black with chains, green plaid belt and pockets, and various rips and tear; some with patches over them. The shoes were green ballet flats, with black and green plaid leg warmers. She wore a black bracelet on her right arm near the armpit.
Techna wore a dark blue t- shirt under a cropped purple skirt with several rips. It was layered with chains. She also wore a heart necklace, triangle earrings, and a black hairpin. On her feet were light purple and white sneakers with pink laces and dark blue socks with a purple trim.
Bloom wore a dark blue and cyan plaid skirt and a dark blue shirt with a light blue of shoulder shirt on top. She wore pink leggings under the skirt (which also had chains) and also wore and pink and black low heeled ballet flats. She wore a cyan and Rose beaded anklet with a light blue heart on her left leg. Her long red hair was left open and some strands of hair above her ear were pinned up quite loosely.
Everyone had their winx friendship bracelets on, to show everyone that they were one group.
"Alright girls, let us revise. Stella, Flora, and I are playing the electronic guitar. Techna, you are on the Casio and Aisha, you are on the drums. Bloom, you are going to sing. The parts with background voices will be covered by me. All cool?" Musa said, grinning.
Everyone chuckled and nodded while Bloom smiled nervously and gave her a thumbs up sign.
"Everything is going to go well sweetie, don't worry! Now, just rehearse the songs we are supposed to play. Flora said.
"What if I mess up?" Bloom asked in a small voice, blinking back her tears.
"The only people messing up now are our deer vampire boyfriend stealers. I mean, just listen to them! Hell, better still, come 'n look at them! Diaspro is screeching like an old woman, Chimera's move suck, Krystal looks a bit too arrogant, Tina looks like a walking paint shop with the most horrid colours, Galatea is missing all notes, and Maya has almost dropped the drumstick thrice now. Now tell me girl, who's messing up?" Stella said, smirking.
"That was rude Stel, but I find myself completely agreeing with you." Techna said, biting her lip to stop herself from laughing.
"And Tina does look like a walking paint shop with the most disgusting colours!" Flora said, giggling.
"That girl needs some serious practice with drums..." Aisha said.
Unable to control their laughter, the girls went into peals of giggles while Musa set up a sonic barrier to keep their sound from going out. She was struggling at multitasking though...
"Well people" Diaspro screeched into the mike, giving the most unconvincing smile ever, "our next song is 'Back to December'! So enjoy! Also, I would like to mention that it is dedicated to some very special people I know..."
Tapping the drumstick thrice (which was done by Maya after 30 seconds), the vamps began the song.

The audience looked a bit sick of Diaspro's singing *ahem* screeching, and the other vamps' horrid musical skills.

Diaspro tried to play cool and removed the mike from its stand, almost dropping it in the process
These days I haven't been sleeping,

I watched you laughing from the passenger side.
Realized I loved you in the fall.
Even the 'band' was getting distracted, but they tried to stop it from showing.
And then the cold came, the dark days when fear crept into my mind

The music became better (slightly) and the audience to started to sing along. The specialists, were staring intently at the stage, looking at the band. Nabu snapped out his phone, and typed something. Aisha's phone vibrated.
From: Nabu darling
To: Me
You and your FRIENDS are clearly visible from the audience.
Aisha gasped (partially because they were seen and that Nabu had typed friends in such a manner) and pulled the rest of the winx back slightly. Nabu took out his phone to check Aisha's message.
From: Ash babe
To: Me
Now?

To: Me
Now it's okay.
"It better be" Aisha growled at her phone, switching it off in exasperation.

The music seemed to get better, and the winx turned to Bloom, who looked at the vamps with pure hatred and turned away.

The crowd was cheering loudly, and the specialists looked slightly disturbed.
"I did not know that the vamps knew the specialists before also..." Flora said through gritted teeth, looking hurt.
"I think we are losing them" Techna said sadly, her lip trembling.
"Who needs boys anyways, we'll live without them also. Right?" Stella asked, trying to hide the hurt she felt.
"Wow, who thought you would say that?" Musa said, attempting to make a joke to get a smile from the winx, but failing miserably.
"We'll be back soon people! Enjoy the party till then!" Tina said, coming over to the mike.
The vamps left the stage, and the anchor came up on stage.
"Shit! I'm loosin' the note! Heck, I've lost ma mind! Girls! Help me!" Blooms wails forced the winx to look at Bloom, who was squatting on the floor, holding her head in her hands.
The anchor then said, "Now, welcome on stage, the famous Winx Club Band!"
The audience cheered and shrieked loudly, and the winx turned to see Bloom curled up on the floor, looking hysterical.
"Oh oh..." Aisha whispered. "I knew it would be bad, but this bad?"
