The next day a portal opened in the West Genetics Gate. The strange thing was that 3 young men and 4 women appeared from out of nowhere. The had just stood there dressed in strange clothing when the portal had finally disappeared. It was as if they where waiting for someone to greet them. The security guards knew nothing about any visitors. A senior guards asked them if they were there on a field trip. A lady, with a stoic face and stern look in her eye, asked if this was where Gengo Aoi was to be found. She told him to send a message to the him, he asked what that message was. "Tell Gengo, that the emissaries are here, also tell him that his discourtesy is not making a good impression. But I really should not expect much, you people never were kind to us before."
The senior guard was about to tell her off, when someone called. It was Sister Margaret, and she instructed them to politely welcome them in, and give them directions to where her office was. They had no choice but to do as they had been ordered. They were told that they were welcome to come into the academy, and apologized for the wait. The leader of the group thanked the man, and she took the map he had offered to her.
As the group walked through the gardens, a young woman picked a small flower and smelled it. "I have heard that this dimension was rather harsh, but the smell of this flower reminds me of the ones back home. I guess combat would make any garden seem harsh. I do hope we can find the princess and her children well." The leader told her that they would. "The children of the Queen are some of the strongest Nova. Her grandchildren should be no different." The quickly followed the leader and the group made observations, the men even made a few comments on a few pandora, Nova or human, young men did like the sight of a nice looking lady. "And this is why I asked the King to leave you horn dogs behind." The leader told the young men, and they quickly stopped making comments about the different pandora and how lovely their figures were.
As the group reached the head mistress office, they where welcomed and announced by her assistant. "I am here to heal and provide medical care to her majesty's daughter and her children. We can work on diplomacy after I am sure that they are well." The leader told Sister Margaret, wanting nothing more than to get the critical issues dealt with. Gengo Aoi told her that he had his children and their mother flown in the previous night. The leader looked at Gengo and asked if there was someone that was critically injured. She was told that his beloved was injured, while trying to protect him. The leader quickly told him that she did not mean an injured Nova, she meant one of the princess's children. Gengo told her that his kids were not critically injured, "Then why is it that I can sense. a critically injured Nova Hybrid from deep underground in this academy?" Gengo was not sure what she was talking about, he told her that the remains of his first daughter were kept in order to study her and learn more about her powers. The leader told them that she was called Azuma, and that she was the best doctor in the Nova dimension. She told them to take her to this supposed dead body.
As the elevator came to a stop, and she saw the body, she was not happy at all. She told them that the woman was not dead, she was in a coma, her injuries were severe, but it was nothing that she and the rest of her team could not handle. The broke the container and began to make several pieces of equipment show up as if they had summoned them. The group began to heal and Azuma began to make decision on what course of treatment they should employ. In a matter of 5 minutes her body was completely healed, and she was breathing normally. Gengo could hardly believe the speed these people worked. They could learn a great deal about medical treatments from them. He and others in the higher positions of power had figured that Nova only knew how to kill, and this proved them completely wrong.
Azuma explained that a Nova body would go into a coma like the patient had, when her body needed to minimize the amount of energy she could use, she did this to conserve energy to keep alive. Gengo asked her why there was no heartbeat, this made her laugh for the first time, "Oh, there was a heartbeat alright. It was just so slow that you equipment could not detect it. Don't worry it's an easy mistake to make."
Kazuha was given a few injections and she began to wake up. "Easy, there m'lady. You might feel a bit disoriented and groggy after a long coma state." She looked at the woman and asked if the Nova were attacking? She looked at her and smiled, "No, we are not attacking. If the situation continues we will never attack this dimension again." Kazuha was speechless. Gengo was happy to see his daughter, quite literally back from the dead. If they could do this, maybe there was hope for Maria after all.
Azuma asked Gengo to bring in the other children, they had to be sure that they were alright. As they were told that some of them could not be moved, they were guided to where the sisters were. The people dismissed the equipment and people began to wonder if that was the same as when they summoned volt texture and weapons. One of the men answered that if what he knew as right, then yes it was.
The 4 large containers still held 4 of Kazuya's sisters. Azuma made a small scanner appear and took a reading of each one. She assigned them medics from most severe to the less injured. They were told to wait outside, the treatment had to be done, quickly and without interruptions. They left the Nova work on their own. 30 minutes later all the daughters of Maria and Gengo were well and standing on their own, all well and healthy no signs of injury, they were however a little hungry.
The began to walk towards the place Maria was placed in. Gengo asked them if they needed to rest, Azuma told them no, they would rest after they had made sure that the children of Princess Maria Nova were safe. Gengo asked her if he heard the name right, He often called her Maria Lancelot, not Maria Nova. Azuma told them that Lancelot was the maiden name of the Queen.
Each and every person saw what had happened to Maria, and she was in a worse state than Kazuha had ever been. Azuma looked at the people around them, "So this is how your people gained Nova abilities, despicable but necessary. You people have done a great deal of bodily harm, I will ask that everyone leaves this place and do not interfere for the next 6 hours. We will know if the princess can be saved." Azuma was clearly upset at what she had seen, the way that the princess body had been treated.
It was a determined that he would need a long time in rehab, if she survived the treatment at all. The medics began a long series of operations and injections. "It's like we are in the dark ages, these people know so little about healing. It's almost frightening to even think what they do to each other." A young red haired medic told her colleague. Azuma put a stop to the chatter and told them to focus. 7 hours and a group of the patients children was waiting on silent prayers, that Maria, their mother could be saved. Azuma walked into the room and sat down on a sofa, looking absolutely exhausted. She was offer a glass of juice which she was happy to accept. "I don't care what the diplomats decide, you people need to be taught some modern medicine. That had to be the most badly treated patient I have ever seen." Gengo asked them if they where the diplomats, Azuma told them that they were the medical team that came before the diplomats. Sister Margaret quickly asked who were the diplomats then? Azuma looked at her and told her, "Why the King and Queen who else would have the authority to decide something this important?"
Well, that pretty much killed the mood, Kazuya and Elizabeth were called to go to Sister's Margaret's office and wait there. Much to their discomfort, they both had decided early in the morning to train together and made sure their teamwork would get better, and that of course was a blatant lie. They wanted to spend some time alone, and seeing each other work, it made them somehow feel that they connected, the way he fought, and the way she using her Nova Weapons was something that they both enjoyed. She called the next dummy Nova target, he took the close range approach and Elizabeth finished it off with a long range attack. Having both a few weapons and freezing abilities made him the perfect close range fighter. She was an excellent long range support. Little did they know that they would no longer need to fight. The call was pretty much received as what it was, an intrusion in their time they could be alone together. She had planned to take a shower with him, and enjoy a liitle love making, but the announcement and the order to report to the office of the academy head mistress, was pretty much like being dipped in ice water.
They both waited outside on a small sofa, wondering what could the head mistress want. They got closer and closer together until, they saw Miriam walk to where they were seating. She did exactly the thing that pissed Elizabeth off, she sat right in between her and Kazuya in a way, that gave Kazuya a good view of her cleavage as she sat down, and finished by crossing her legs and rubbing him with her foot. "If you are that much into him, why don't you strip naked and go at it. Don't mind me at all." Elizabeth told her in a sarcastic tone. She quickly looked at her and the Kazuya, "Here? In public? My I always was told that you were daring Elizabeth, but even I didn't know how much."
Kazuya asked them both not to fight, Elizabeth said that she was not fighting. If she was there would be a lot of damage she would need to explain. Miriam told him that she was not fighting either, she was just having a pleasant conversation. He had to remind himself, that he was the limiter here, and that he had not used his freezing abilities. He suddenly began to wonder, "If that is the case, why did the temperature of this place drop so much?" Miriam looked at him and made a move as to try and remove her contact lenses. As she finished she looked at Kazuya and smiled, "Oh, that when I get nervous I tend to use freezing without noticing. To me freezing is as normal as breathing. I am a Nova after all." Elizabeth and Kazuya were shocked, they had been sitting with a Nova and they never even noticed, "Why aren't you in the form that Nova usually attack in? You know as big as a house, with tentacles and other weapons?" Miriam laughed, "That is a Nova's combat form. Can you imagine trying to do normal day to day things like that? The food and water bill alone would be too much. We have 2 forms, this one is called civil mode and you already know of the other one. Honestly, Kazuya. I am supposed to be your blushing bride, so when are you going to give me a dose of tender loving?"
Elizabeth was just about to tell Miriam exactly what he felt and thought about that last comment. Collateral damage be damned, she was not going to let her make passes at him, right in front of her no less. She called for her Nova weapon and was in full armor. "Relax, Elizabeth. I would love to show you the difference in our abilities, but that has to be for latter. The head mistress and some other people are coming this way." She only put away her volt weapon. "Your lover sure has a quick temper, husband. I don't know what you see in her honestly." Miriam told Kazuya and laughed. He was both thankful and worried at the sight of his father, a lady and his 6 sisters, and Sister Margaret walking towards them. Thankful because neither were dumb enough to fight in front of Sister Margaret, and worried because he had no clue on what was going to happen.
"Come on, son. It's not like it's the end of the world. Relax, come and greet your mother." Gengo told him as he looked at his face. Maria did not wait a second more and hugged him. "So I finally get to see you, my precious little boy. You should not look so confused, we talked in your dreams, remember?" Kazuya asked her who was the other lady in his dreams? Maria kissed him on the forehead, "That my little Kazuya was your grandmother. She should be here any second as the medics told me."
Outside the building was seen a portal open and close. The air felt a whole lot more chilly that he ever remembered, and he had done training in Alaska. "Well looks like my folks are here, you are in for a few surprises." Maria told Kazuya who just looked confused.
