The sky is just beginning to fill with the orange of sunrise when Tsuna grabbed his backpack from the back of the car.
He paused for a minute to look up at the mansion, hearing the roar of his brothers and sister laughing as Colonello haul them up the stairs. Lambo was clinging to one of the blondes arms while Ipin was wrapped around his neck and Futa wrapped around his leg like a koala.
"Brat," Lal Mirch snapped from where she was pulling the trunk up to grab the rest of the bags, "get inside."
"Ah...Are you sure?" Tsuna questioned, guilt rising. "I should help you with-"
"Ah!" Ipin's scream snapped Tsuna's attention away from the older female and towards her. She saw her drop from Colonello and run screaming to a pair of jeans. "Kyo-nii!"
Tsuna felt his heart pound as he let his eyes rake up the arms that scooped her up.
His heart stopped when he reached Kyoya's face. His boyfriend, partner now maybe? They'd made commitments to each other that meant more then rings, was still dressed in the black tank top that Tsuna knew he slept in and his hair was messy from sleep but his smile features were fond
"Welcome to Italy, Ipin," Kyoya greeted. He caught Tsuna's eyes over her shoulder and repeated, "Welcome to Italy, Tsuna."
Tsuna took a shaky breathe before nodding, "I'm back."
It had only just begun and already Tsuna was wishing the summer would never end.
E/n: You guys didn't get an update last week and I'm really sorry about that. I don't remember what was going on (Which is prolly a testament to how busy it was) but last Saturday was super busy for me.
So this takes place the year after Kyoya graduates high school because I've talked to guys before about me having this headcanon that they go to Italy as soon as they graduate and spend a year apprenticing/training however they need to to grow for the family and adjust to life in Italy
