Chapter Fifteen.
* Elisha's POV *
OUTSIDE SPACE-SHIP HANGER; SURFACE OF PLANET CREMATORIA.
Two vital events happened in a small space of time. Number one: half of the ridiculous looking armoured men made their way through the black protection rock using small pathways closing in on us. Number two: the guard boss opened the stone bay doors to the hanger getting the unsuspecting attention of the Necromonger's soldiers standing by.
Random shots are fired in the space between the inside of the hanger and the flat stone runway, these shots direct the Necromonger's which were headed for us back towards the main bulk of their pack. It was then Riddick gave us the all clear, unleash hell with the one simple order: do not allow anything apart from our pack to continue breathing. Kill them all.
Riddick is faster than us in the attack, even with Hans on his back he manages to slaughter two Necromonger soldiers within the first five seconds in which we are released from the ditch but I do not question him as my body seems to have a mind of its own. I aim for a split-second before firing and never missing, the cheap bullets piece their armour and penetrate their bodies. All shots were fatal or had minutes before it was have an effect. Riddick moved like a bat out of hell taking no mercy or time to think, his blades slice through the throats and main arteries of each Necromonger like a knife through butter.
When my guns are empty, I become weapon-less but for me new found abilities, I trust the Furyan side and I am not disappointed. A Necromonger guard sprints straight for me carrying a rather beautiful curved dagger in his left arm, as he I leap over to sit myself comfortably on his shoulders before crossing my legs and capturing his throat tightly between my knees and in one swift motion, I flick backwards using my hands for support on the floor bring the Necromonger's body over backwards pushing out my pelvis so when I land like a cat, his face makes full contact with the rocky surface of the ground.
The sun continues to creep toward over the top of the cliff, the sizzling of rock on the top of the hanger is a worry as we are not even half way through the Necromonger guards between us and the hanger. As we push forward, throwing knifes and firing weapons, a purple florescent light narrowly misses my face to hit Sybar behind me sending him flying meters back landing on the jagged rock head first with a snap.
"Sybar!" Guv calls out but with no reply, we must assume the worst.
I narrowly miss the light beam several times as I sprint forward to kill this motherfucker, driving my knife between the forth and fifth rib giving it a neat twist, he's dead, I then extract the blade without any time to clean the blood before another Necromonger grabs me from behind.
Several head-butts to the nose make him release me but before I could turn around to finish him off, Riddick had already done so.
"Get over that edge and into the ditch, stay hidden." Riddick orders me handing me Hans like a parcel, "I'll cover you, Dakota go with her."
We obey and stay hidden beneath the ridge of the hill beside the runway.
A/N: Sorry for the short chapters, it is much easier to write, especially in this section were it is quiet intense.
