One Hundred Things I Need to Do But I Only Want to Do You
Prompt: The Locomotive on the Couch
"What happened to you?" questioned Tsuna as Kyoya hopped into the bedroom. He was holding the foot he wasn't walking on.
"I stepped on a fucking lego when I was tucking Leo in."
Tsuna gave a sympathetic sound. He added, "Carina made me read her The Seven Dancing Princesses again."
"That pales in fucking comparison." Kyoya ran a hand through his hair before questioning, "She didn't put up a fight about bedtime today?"
"Oh she did. I just managed to fend it off and get her in bed."
Kyoya sat down in one of the plush chairs in the corner.
They were quiet for a second before the Cloud said, "Despite how much I didn't want kids before, I'm glad we adopted them."
Tsuna thought of Carina, five years old when the Vongola had rescued her from the horrible things are real parents had done to the children in their mafia, and Leo, who had been orphaned in a raid against an enemy family when he was four.
Now they were nine and six.
They had everyone in the mansion wrapped around their tiny fingers and spent all their time doing things they shouldn't because of it. They ate cookies before dinner, neither Tsuna or the cooks had the heart to tell them no, and got help from their uncles and aunts on their homework, Gokudera was always willing to put work aside to help them and Mukuro had taken to mimicking the situations on their math and science worksheets with illusions.
Tsuna nodded, thinking of their smiles and laughs and how proud of them he was when they showed him something they had accomplished, "Me too."
