A/N: Hey everyone. Recently I re-read the story and.. oh my God, I made so many mistakes ._. Let's clear some things.

1. Hana is ten years old (At first I said she's fourteen)

2. I think I'll correct the story when I have time.

3. It's the beginning of May now. The Olympics were in February, a year passed since then, two months later they moved and now some time passed since Tsubasa's in Kaleido. Oh, and she's about to turn sixteen.

I observed that this story doesn't get reviews lately .-. Normally I would drop it, but I really like writing it so I won't. But.. even if you don't have an account, if you read the story, just leave a review. Even if it's a one word. Thank you c:

Chapter 11. A chance to return

"You are as graceful as a hypo."

Tsubasa stopped in the middle of the rink. Her legs couldn't keep up with her anymore and so let herself fall on the ice, hitting the ground hard. She was breathing heavily. Her partner was tired as well but he was still standing on his feet.

Anna skated on the rink and approached Tsubasa. She put her hands on her hips as she reached the young performer's side.

Edward lend his hand to Tsubasa and helped her get up. As she starightened her back and arranged her dark-blue training dress, Tsubasa looked at Anna who was looking at her worried.

"Tsubasa-chan, I myself am not the most feminine woman to walk on earth, but you're far more.. Incredible." She said trying to hold her laughter.

Tsubasa blushed. They have been practising all day without a pause and it was past ten o'clock already.

"But don't worry, I know what your problem is." Anna continued with a big smile.

"I think I figured some of them too..." Tsubasa replied.

She was already familiar with the coregraphy. There weren't many jumps—it was basically a waltz on ice after all—so it wasn't so hard. What gave Tsubasa trouble was the number of times Edward had to rise her. Literally. He has to rise her above the ice and skate at the same time, sometimes even spin her above his head.

"Oh, it's a step forward. Tell me." The purple-haired woman said crossing her arms over her chest.

"I'm afraid." Tsubasa admitted.

Anna nodded. "Of falling." She completed.

"Yes. I mean, it's not that I don't trust your strength Edward, but I just.. I'm not used to skating with other people." She continued. "Much less to being raised so high above the ice. And I keep forgetting the coregraphy!"

"Which leads us to another problem. Tell me Tsubasa-chan, have you ever performed a show before? I mean, a planned-ahead show?"

The girl shook her head. She has always skated freely, even at the auditions she kept forgetting some parts and improved a lot.

"It's understandable. Don't worry, it will get easier and easier to follow a coregraphy the more shows you take part in." Anna continued.

Tsubasa was beyond embarrassed. She was so bad. She could hear Edward trying to hold his laughter behind her. She hit him with her elbow slowly.

"By the way, you're fat, Tsubasa-chan."

The moment she said it, Tsubasa felt that a thousand rocks fell on her head.

She already knew she didn't have the perfect body—she has been been to gym and a perfect body required gym—and she has never paid attention to what or when she eats.

"If you want to do this, you'll have to lose a few pounds. Not much, but you have to give some off."

Tsubasa nodded.

"Ok, let's call it a day." Anna announced.

As soon as she left the ice, Tsubasa turned towards Edward and looked at him madly.

"Ok, sorry for laughing, don't look at me like that." He said as he put his hands in a defensive manner.

Tsubasa sighed. "But Anna was right."

"Yes, but it's ok, isn't it? We've just begun. We have plenty of time to get better." He said with a smile before skating off the rink.

Tsubasa smiled. His words really comforted her, he was right.

Tsubasa changed into her usual dark-blue, long-sleeved blouse and light-blue shorts, arranged her pony-tail and left the training building. As she headed towards her house, she passed by the principal training building—which was used for people playing the main roles—and was surprised to hear voices.

It was already dark and she was hungry and tired, but she couldn't help but peek inside.

There was Mia, Yume and that man. The one she saw at the auditions. She still couldn't remember his name.

Her eyes widened in surprise as she watched Yume launching herself in the air, turning upside down and barely touching the ceiling with her legs. She then fell right in the safety net.

"You didn't put enough strength when you jumped because you don't have enough strength." The man said with a harsh tone, his voice scaring Tsubasa.

"Yes." Yume approved as she prepared to get off the safety-net.

Tsubasa couldn't believe how she looked just after a day of training. Her light-pink training costume and white legging were dirty and had cuts here and there, she didn't even want to imagine how her body looked like. Her hair was a mess and she was obviously beyond exhaustation.

Just as she got off the safety net and put her feet on the ground, she collapsed.

"Yume!" Mia yelled as she approached the girl.

The man climbed off the trapeze and landed on the ground, as silent as a feather.

"Tell her the training starts tomorrow at eight." He told Mia and begun walking towards the exit.

Tsubasa was looking at Yume and didn't observe him coming to her. It was just as he opened the door that she realized.

'Uh oh.'

He was surprised to find her there, but didn't say anything for the moment which only made the situation more awkward.

"Uhm.. I'll go, yeah, I'll take my leave and—"

"Tsubasa Oswald." He said.

She raised her head to look at him, surprised that he actually knew who she was. It was then that she observed their similar features. He had those blue eyes like her, but hers were a dark blue while his were a very light shade and they both had black hair but while hers would sometimes seem dark grey, his was pitch black.

"What are you doing here?" He asked with a scowl on his face.

He was glaring at her and was very annoyed.

She swallowed and chose her words carefully.

"I was passing by and heard some voice and.. I was curious!" She replied with honesty.

The truth wasn't so bad after all, unless he hated being watched practising which would be so bad right now.

Without saying another word, he turned around and left.

Tsubasa sighed. Just then she heard her phone ringing.

"Yes?"

"Do you have any idea what time it is?!" Her mother yelled in the phone.

"I'm on my way, see you in fifteen minutes!" She replied and started running home.

"How was your day?" Leon asked as soon as his daughter sat at the table.

He had the same tone as usual but May knew him so well that she could hear the excitment in his voice.

"Something incredible happened!" Tsubasa said, her eyes sparkling.

"Really?" May asked. She was getting excited just by being in their presence.

Not only that, but she hasn't visited Kaleido Stage once since she moved here and the only persons that visited her were Sora, Ken, Kalos and his wife Sarah. The director told her that everyone was busy with a new show and even though they couldn't visit, they all send their love to May. She really wanted to go visit Kaleido, but she wasn't ready. She wasn't ready to leave the stage when she found out she was pregnant, but Leon was by her side and she found strength. It was a different situation now. There were too many memories there, she didn't feel ready to visit yet.

"I'll be in the next show!" Tsubasa said all enthusiastic.

May's eyes widened. She was really surprised to hear that. Back then, no newbie will take part in the shows. Only after a year will they be able to perform. She and Sora were exceptions, for Kalos had his eye on Sora and saw her talent and she jumped on the stage in the middle of a performance and made herself observed. Looking back, she couldn't believe she actually did something like that.

"That's great news, what story will they put onstage now?" Leon asked.

Tsubasa put her index finger in front of her lips. "It's a secret."

"Oh come on Tsubasa!" May found herself pleading.

Her daughter and husband looked at her surprised. Only then did she realize how excited she was to hear that.

Tsubasa smiled brightly.

"No telling! By the way Mom, I.. Can I ask you something?" Her face changed, she seemed insecure.

"Yes, sure." May replied.

"The part I'll play will be the last part, I and my partner—which is really nice—will do a waltz on ice. Our coach is Anna but she said they are looking for a professional to teach the newcomers, most of them are ice skaters. And I thought.. Maybe you could do it."

May couldn't believe her ears. She could return to Kaleido Stage.

Leon was looking at his wife with a smile. "You don't have to answer now. Think about it."

May nodded. She will think about it.

Tsubasa would usually wake as late as she could and always be in a hurry for school and she didn't plan to change anything now that she was part of Kaleido Stage. The classes for newcomers start at ten in the morning and end at two o'clock in the afternoon. Now that she was part of the show she had to be at there at nine in the morning and stay as much as needed.

Even though she could sleep for another hour at least, Tsubasa set her alarm and woke up at seven in the morning. Fool whom was sleeping on her stomach was thrown on the floor as Tsubasa threw the blanket off her.

"What's going on?" He asked as he got up from the floor and started floating.

"I'll go running." She said enthusiastic.

"Well then you need to change from those pajamas!" Fool said as he prepared to follow Tsubasa in the bathroom, but she closed the door and he bumped right onto it.

Tsubasa changed into some black leggings and a grey parka, she tied her hair in a one-side bun and ran downstairs.

There was her mother drinking coffee with her father, both looking at Tsubasa surprised.

"Did something happen?" Leon asked.

She shook her head. "I'm going to run, Anna said I have to take care of my body. Mom, can you make me a healthy breakfast?"

May smiled and nodded.

"Ok then, I'll eat when I get back." She said and left.

It was the middle of month May and the weather was pleasant. Tsubasa ran for about half an hour and was already exhausted. She never did this before, thought her sister often did. She never realized how tiring it was. She headed back home wanting to eat a full chocolate and some cereals. Tsubasa has always been a sweets-addict.

Instead, she was greeted by a natural yogurt and a vegetables salad.

"Mom.." She begun.

"You were the one who asked meto do this." She said crossing her arms over her chest. "But you can always throw this away and eat sweets," Just then Tsubasa smiled. "if you're not serious about the show and Kaleido." She completed.

Tsubasa narrowed her eyes and begun stuffing the vegetables in her mouth. No way she would back down now.
