When Hotch arrived at the field he quickly found the Beth, Henry, Will, and the whole team. The group of four walked up to them. Maddie quickly tried to get out of Hotch's arms. "Hold on Maddie and I'll put you down." Soon as she was put down she ran up to Emily.
Reid who was standing behind all of them started talking to Hotch. "Who are your friends?" Hotch handed Jack his soccer ball so him and Henry could practice before the game then answered Reid. "The older one is Holly and the little one is Maddie. If you want to know more ask Emily."
Emily looked at Hotch and that's when he realised she never told him about Maddie. Garcia was the only team member who knew the whole story. Soon the whole team would know the story.
Reid turned to Emily and said. "Do you mind telling me who they are?"
Emily put Maddie down who ran to play with the other kids. "You know Beth is my sister. Holly is our younger sister. Maddie is my three-year old daughter. She'll be four in two months."
Emily nervously watched as Reid did the math. For the first time they watched as Reid yelled at Emily. "You didn't tell me. You knew and you still went after Doyle. You could have gotten both of you killed!"
With that Reid walked off with Emily calling after him. She caught up with him and grabbed his arm so he couldn't run off.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I didn't know till after the doctors told me when I woke up in the hospital. If I would have known I would have done things different."
Reid yanked his arm from Emily's grasp. "You still could have told me I had a daughter Emily."
Emily let a few tears roll down her cheeks. "I'm sorry when I first came back you were mad at me. I was trying to gain your trust again."
Reid still hadn't calmed down any. "Well not telling me about her didn't help you gain my trust."
Emily looked up at Reid. "I'm sorry Reid. You can hate me if you want. If you want to get know your daughter I won't get in your way. She reminds me of you a lot."
Reid calmed down a little. "I don't hate you, but I would like to get to know our daughter."
Emily smiled a little and nodded.
I added the conversation between Reid and Emily to clear things up a little.
