Two weeks later.
"Maddie, Beth's sick and Holly is at a friend's house so you have to come to work with me."
Two weeks had passed since Reid's visit and that was all Maddie could talk about.
"Mommy I don't want to go to work with you."
Then Emily got an idea. "Spencer will be there."
"One sec let me grab my checker board."
Emily knew it would work.
