BECCA POV

Becca could barely breath, the pain in her back was overpowering and her legs started to give. When she fell, she looked to Chris. She saw his mouth move but she was in too much pain to even pay attention to what he was saying. She was suddenly on the ground and she couldn't do anything. She was in shock and it felt like time had stopped.

She felt someone life her slowly. Once her fuzzy vision had cleared she could see that it was Chris. He pulled her into his lap and cradled her head.

"Bex, Bex listen to me. You're going to be fine we'll get you to a hospital or something ok," he consoled her while stroking her hair.

She knew she wouldn't be fine. They were in the middle of nowhere and she already felt herself fading away. Her eyes started to flutter closed.

"No no no, stay with me baby. Come on you need to keep your eyes open," he said, the worry and strain clear in his voice.

She looked over his shoulder and saw what everyone else was doing, they were all fighting. She couldn't see very clearly what was happening but they were definitely at war with each other.

Quinn was next to rush to her side. "I called the ambulance," she told Chris.

He nodded his head but didn't take his eyes off Becca.

Becca didn't have enough energy to keep her eyes open any longer, so she used all that she had left to say one last thing to Chris.

She looked up at him and saw tears starting to form in his eyes. "I love you," she said quietly, though it was as loud as she could manage.

"No, don't say goodbye, the ambulance will be here soon. Everything's going to be fine," he assured her, and, it sounded, tried to assure himself.

But Becca couldn't keep her eyes open any longer. Chris kissed her forehead, and it was the last thing she felt.

CHRIS POV

She closed her eyes and stopped breathing. He kissed her forehead; it was the only thing he could think of.

She wasn't dead, she couldn't be dead. His luck couldn't be so bad that he would lose her as well after the crappy life he's had of losing the people he loves. It just wasn't logical, it wasn't fair.

Quinn beside him was balling her eyes out, but Chris didn't know how to react. He couldn't bring himself to let her go. So he just sat there, hugging Becca into his chest and waiting for her to wake up.

"Chris," Gabriel said, suddenly appearing next to him, "we need to get out of here," he said.

Chris looked over and saw everyone was still fighting. He picked Becca up and carried her to the car. Soon after everyone else piled in after him and they sped away from the house. The whole car ride home was silent apart from Quinn's quiet sobs.

This was supposed to be a rescue mission, instead they'd been betrayed by Hannah, or Emily, and they killed Becca. Chris let the thought sink in as they returned to the hotel. He layed Becca on the couch, and burst into tears.
