After a hell of a fight with a spirit sealed armor named Barry the Chopper, I had to take back Envy and myself back to the hotel safely. I'm glad that I made it there quicker because Envy's stamina was running extremely low. He's slowly dying. As we headed inside the room, I quickly put Envy on the bed, and then take off my shoes and jacket. Envy notices that I'm freaking out and he says while breathing heavily...
Envy: Serenity, don't...don't worry about me. I'll leave...and...
Me: No, Envy! Barry beat your ass to a bloody pulp and you're dying! You'll kill yourself if you leave now.
As I walk back and forth while gripping my hair, thinking about how to save Envy, I felt like throwing something because I don't have a clue how. In my mind, I'm thinking...
Me: *in thought* Fuck, fuck, FUCK! How the hell am I going to save this Homunculus!?
I got in front of the mirror, looked at myself, thought about it a little more, and then it hit me.
Me: *in thought* The Philosopher's Stone. Of course...!
Now that I know what to use to save his life, how am I going to find one? While thinking about this, a couple of flashbacks occurred in my head.
Flashback #1: *Dex gives me a bag* I take the the item inside of the bag which was definitely a Philosopher's Stone.
Me: Good job, boy.
Flashback #2:
Me: It's another Philosopher's Stone. Dex and I were snooping around the Furher's office. *gives bag to Envy*
After having these two flashbacks, I realized that I gave the Philosopher's Stone to Envy. So, I began to search around the hotel room. I looked inside the drawers, the closets, and the kitchen cabinets. No stone was in sight, so I had to ask Envy where it is.
Me: Envy, where's the stone I gave you this earlier today?
Envy didn't answer me, so I asked him again.
Me: Envy, the stone. Where is it?!
Still I don't get an answer from him. I turn around to see him unconscious on the bed. I quickly run towards the bed and asked again with fear in my voice.
Me: Envy! Envy, don't die on me now! Where is that stone!?
When I reached the bed, I accidentally kicked something under the bed. I look under there and I see a small cardboard box. It seems to be the perfect size to hide the stone. I take it out as quick as I can and open the box. Inside, was the bag that contained the Philosopher's Stone.
Me: Bingo...*takes the stone out of the bag* Envy, I found the stone. Wake up and quickly swallow this.
I open his mouth, place the stone inside his mouth and he swallows it. After that, Envy fell into a deep sleep. I believe that he'll be fine. Tomorrow morning, he'll be the same old Envy I've been hanging out with for the past weeks. Now, I can finally relax, but before I could do that, the phone rings. I approach the phone and answer it.
Me: Hello?
Mustang: Hey, I got your voice messages. How are you doing so far?
Me: I'm fine. Just a little tired...
Mustang: Okay. I'll let you go in a minute. So, there are no problems at the hotel? The Furher hasn't found you yet?
Me: No.
Mustang: That's good. There has been a murder at the command center.
Me: Are you serious?
Mustang: Lieutenant Woodson and Private Howard are the victims. We believe that it might be the Furher, but there is no evidence whatsoever. Keep yourself inside the hotel and don't go outside for whatever reason, alright?
Me: Alright...
Mustang: That's all I wanted to tell you. Go ahead and get some rest.
Me: Okay. Good night.
I hang up the phone and kind of thought about the murder that just happened earlier. It's hard to predict who killed Howard and Woodson, but they say that it might be Bradley. It might've been someone else. I'm not sure. No one is sure. Anyway, I hop into bed and sleep beside Envy.
Early in the morning, I woke up sweating, shaking, and breathing heavily. What I just saw in my sleep might have scarred me for life. This nightmare I woke up from kind of was related to the events that happened years ago until now. Even though I wasn't born during the Ishvalan Civil War, I can see the horrific deaths that happened there. All of the Ishvalan men, women, and children were slaughtered like animals. The death of Maes Hughes even popped up there. Seeing the mystery murderer shoot Hughes, who was helpless which was the result of his death. Even the death of my parents was in my nightmare as well. I seen their murderer kill them in the most cruel way in front of their three week old baby. Like all deaths alike, blood was splattered on walls, corpses were laying on the ground and on furniture as there wounds continue to gush out their blood, and families wailed in grief of their loss. The nightmare was so horrifying that I couldn't even go back to sleep. I got out of bed, trudged to the door, exit the hotel room, and sat by the doorway with my legs to my chest. Now that I hear about the deaths of people who are close to us, I wonder how I got into this mess. If I got into it, there's, there's no way out of it. I really don't want to be the next person to die. But what if? What if this predicament is leading to my fate? If it is, then there is no way out of it. If I'm right, then I must...
3rd pov (Envy)
Envy wakes up feeling good as new and he noticed that Serenity wasn't around. He looks to his left and figured out that she was around before because the left side of the bed was messed up, but there was no other clues left. Envy jumps off the bed and begins to search for his girlfriend. He checked in the bathroom and the kitchen, but there was no sign of Serenity or any belongings that she might've left. Envy then sneaks out of the hotel room without putting on a disguise since it was 5:30 in the morning. He runs in all of the hallways of the hotel and peeks into different rooms carefully. Since Serenity wasn't in any rooms of the hotel, the last place Envy thought of checking was the roof. Envy quickly runs up ten more flights of stairs to reach the roof. When he made up there, Envy spots Serenity standing at the edge of the roof and she's looking down below the streets of Central.
Envy: Serenity! What the hell are you doing!?
Without answering him, Serenity looks at Envy with a mad face and cried out eyes. Then, she looks back down below the streets once more.
Serenity: *to herself* This is the only way that I'll get out of this. I can't live any longer knowing that people are dying...
Envy: Serenity! Get down!
Still not answering him, she says to herself...
Serenity: The citizens of this city dislike me anyway. So, I'd rather die...*sticks one foot out* This is the end for me...
After talking to herself a little more, she begins to fall to her death.
Envy: Serenity!
