Ever since I became friends with Taylor, we've been hanging out a lot. We went to actual places and I don't mean like how I go to the lake or going to the forest. Places like restaurants, parks, and many more places that most people enjoy. One day, Taylor and I went to the beach and then we went to a coffee shop for some lattés. We talk and joke around with each other. Taylor is an awesome friend to have. Why can't anyone in Central be like her? Then, we got into a conversation about boys. I've already told her about the one I love. I'm a little curious if she has a boyfriend.
Me: So, Taylor, I have a question. I know that us women follow our hearts and give it to someone we love the most. I just wonder if you've given your heart to someone.
Taylor: I was in a relationship with someone from Dublith. He was completely insecure and he would it jealous if I'm with a guy who is my friend.
Me: Sounds like someone I know.
Taylor: So, you know the person I'm talking about?
Me: I don't know , but I chased by someone like that.
Taylor: *sips latté* Well, he's not exactly a chaser, but he'll definitely flirt once he sees a woman. I thought he would be the one because he treated me like a queen.
Me: Must've had lots of fun with him.
Taylor: Yeah, but still, I can't be with a insecure man. It only locks a woman away from the world and I want to see it with my own eyes. Does he really think that I'm just going to sit in a house all day everyday? Hell no! I ain't got time for that.
Me: I know what you mean. That's what I do in my spare time. Plus, I was overprotected by someone who I call my brother.
Taylor: It's like we're still seen as second class. Wait till they see a female alchemist. They're not going to say anything.
Me: Some might and some might not. You know, Taylor, people talk.
Taylor: And they will. *changes subject* Hey, you know, you should let me meet your boyfriend!
Me: Really? You want to meet him?
Taylor: Of course. I mean you did tell me about him.
Me: Are you sure? Because he can be...well...a bit jealous.
Taylor: Whatever. I'm pretty sure I can handle him.
I'm not so sure if she can because she's going to be meet Envy. The only human he can trust and care for the fullest is me of course. If he sees a human he doesn't know, he'll kill that person. I'm totally scared for Taylor right now. After having lattés, we headed to our homes. It was still kind of early in the morning, so I returned to the Command Center and hung out with Ed and Al, who got their bodies back. While hanging out with them, Riza comes over and she says...
Riza: Serenity, the Colonel wants to see you for a moment. There is a phone call to you...
I follow Riza to Mustang's office. As we got to the office, I see Scar and Mustang in the office. I wonder what's going on. Something might be important because...Scar is in here.
Mustang: Good thing you came. Someone is in the phone and they asked for you. It's someone from Briggs.
I approach the desk and take the phone out of Mustang's hands. I put the phone to my ear and say...
Me: Hello?
Little boy: Is this Ms. Serenity?
Me: Yes...
Little boy: Hi, Serenity! It's so good to talk to you finally! All I have to do now is see you in person.
Me: See me in person? Why?
Little boy: I'm your little cousin. My mommy is your mommy's sister!
Me: Cousin? Mom's sister?
Little boy: Yeah! All of our Ishvalan family is here. Even our grandmother...
Me: Grandmother...?
The Ishvalan side of my family is calling me. I never knew that I had family whatsoever. As I hear their voices in the background, all I wanted to do was wail in happiness. I can't believe that I still have family.
Scar: I found the ones who knew your mother through family. There was actually plenty from her side than I thought.
Mustang: So, now that you heard them, why don't you go to Briggs to meet them?
Me: Meet them? Really?
Mustang: Of course. I'm not going to stop you from meeting your family. Do what you want.
Me: Thanks you, Roy! Thank you so much!
I run out of the office and went in my room to lay in my bed. Even though I was happy to hear from my Ishvalan family, I'm a little upset. If I leave to Briggs, I'm leaving Envy. I honestly don't want to leave him because we just got back together. This decision is so huge to me. I have to make a choice for whether I should visit the ones who I was supposed to know by day one or to be with someone who I actually met on my kind of day one. So, what will it be? Family or Envy?
It later got dark and I gave Dex his dinner before having mine. It feels good to be back in my room, eating delicious food from , and just to relax with my best furry friend. As soon I finished my dinner, I got my late night phone call. I pick it up and say...
Me: Hello?
Envy: By the sound of your voice, you seem a little down about something. Sounds like you need a drugs from me.
Me: That's cute, Envy.
Envy: You don't sound normal right now. What's wrong?
Me: Well, I have two things to tell you. First of all, I want you to meet someone. She actually said that she wants to meet you.
Envy: Why?
Me: Because she does. And I have to tell you something else when I see you.
Envy: Is it that important?
Me: From me it is.
Envy: Whatever. I'll meet you at the park...
...and with that answer, I hang up the phone. I find some clothes that I haven't mixed up with my usual look before and I then call Taylor to tell her where we're meeting at. I wake up Dex and we head out of the command center and headed to the park. I'll have you know that it's not in the same spot where Envy and I met up before. I'm not grossing Taylor out. I was actually the second one to arrive because Taylor stood by the entrance before I got there. Taylor and I then search for a shelter and we did find a nice sized one; it was a little larger than the one Envy and I went to.
Taylor: So, where's the homunculus?
Me: He's coming.
Taylor: Well, he needs to hurry the hell up. I don't have all night.
Me: Listen, Taylor, the homunculus has quite a temper so I don't want you to push his buttons too much.
Taylor: I'm not making any promises, but okay.
Taylor and I patiently wait for Envy to arrive. While waiting we talked about the military, alchemy, and things kids shouldn't hear before reaching eighteen years old if you know what I mean. We waited a little while longer and we were getting tired.
Me: *in thought* Envy, where are you?
Taylor: Man, is your man always this late?
Me: We don't really wait for each other to show up. He actually finds me.
...and then, there was a rustle in the bushes. Dex jumps up and growls to where the rustling is coming from.
Me: I know, boy. I hear it too.
I put my hand in the pocket where the gun is and I brace myself for whatever or whoever is going to jump out at us...
