The next day Zexion started avoiding Demyx for some reason, when he tried to greet him when they woke up Zexion ran out the room, when he tried to strike up a conversation at breakfast he quickly scarfed down all the food and ran out the door. "Zexion!?" Demyx called and gave chase but Zexion was a lot faster than Demyx would have expected and he lost him at the intersection. "...S-seriously?" Demyx stopped and hunched over to try to catch his breath, he wasn't going to catch Zexion so he had to trap him after class...

Demyx regained his breath and was about to continue on his way to school but was stopped by a hand on his wrist, Demyx turned around to see Axel and Marluxia standing behind him.

"Yo." Axel said, and Demyx stared at him with a blank expression.

"Don't you 'yo' me." Demyx said and looked down at his wrist. "And let me go." He said and Axel complied.

"Whats got your panties in a bunch." Marluxia asked, noting Demyx's slightly snappy tone of voice

Demyx sighed and shook his head. "Sorry its just Zexion's been avoiding me and-." Demyx started but stopped when he heard a snicker come from Marluxia which didn't usually bode well. "Why are you snickering?" Demyx asked and Marluxia simply shook his head and covered his mouth as Axel sent him a death glare, something was up.

"Hey Demyx if we stand here all day we're gonna be late." Axel quickly said and ran to the other side of Demyx to pull him along.

Demyx looked at Axel then Marluxia and narrowed his eyes. "You two know something don't you?" Demyx asked, he wanted to interrogate Marluxia, but Axel was right, he couldn't stand there all day or he was going to be late and his grades were bad enough as it was he didn't need tardiness on his record as well, he would let them get away this time. "Fine."

The three of them walked to school together Demyx occasionally glaring at Axel whom was oddly sweating a large amount for some reason despite the fact that it was still quite cool weather, and Marluxia not being able to keep a straight face, Demyx and Axel parted ways with Marluxia on the second floor then continued down the hall to their classrooms which were right beside each other.

"See ya." Demyx said looking at Axel suspiciously, then walked into his classroom.

As soon as he entered he was greeted with Zexion's wide-eyed stare which he had to admit was a little creepy...just a little. "Hey." Demyx said as he sat down.

"H-hey..." Zexion nervously answered trying as hard as humanly possible to avoid eye contact after Demyx sat down.

"Uh hey... why were you." Demyx started.

"Oh hey look teach is here!" Zexion quickly interrupted and Demyx groaned, he was still avoiding him and Demyx couldn't figure out why, there had to be a good reason and Demyx would get to the bottom of it, there had to be some reason Zexion was avoiding him some reason he wouldn't let him say a single word even if their conversation the other night had ended horribly awkward he certainly couldn't find that to be the reason for Zexion to avoid him like this there had to be something else and whatever it was Axel and Marluxia were involved that was for certain.

After all their classes were over Zexion gathered his things quickly said bye to Demyx and rushed out, but Demyx didn't let that bother him at least that's what he told himself as he wiped away a teardrop.

But he didn't have time to feel dejected he had to find Axel and Marluxia and interrogate them, Demyx got out of his seat and quickly ran to Axel's classroom, unfortunately he wasn't there.

"Um...excuse me." Demyx spoke and a few people turned around and a girl with whitish-blond hair walked up to him.

"Yes? is there something i can help you with." She asked smiling and Demyx blushed the girl was quite pretty and when he looked closer she looked somewhat familiar... "Hello?" she repeated.

Demyx jumped snapping out of his daydreaming and quickly nodded his head. "Uh yeah do you know where Axel went?" Demyx asked nervously.

The girl smiled at Demyx's nervousness and nodded her head. "He left with Marluxia I think they mentioned heading to the courtyard." Demyx smiled at the girl and hyperactively shook her hand.

"Thank you very much!" Demyx said then let her hand go and ran for the courtyard he would definitely find them and interrogate them.

It took Demyx five minutes of running around the school to finally find them sitting by the fountain, Demyx hunched over and called out to them. "...H-hey." Demyx said in-between long breaths. "I... need...to...talk...to...you...two." Demyx finished before passing out on the ground, skipping lunch was probably a bad idea.

Zexion had a reason for avoiding Demyx,

when he woke up that day he felt closer to Demyx because of the time they spent together the previous day he thought about even telling Demyx about him.

But all that change when he woke up and saw the message...

The perverse vulgar disgusting message that Axel sent him, really he couldn't look at Demyx because of it, now that he thought about it how did Axel even know he was at Demyx house earlier, Zexion quickly shook his head and shrugged off the thought, now wasn't time for him to try and figure out Axel's devil magic he needed to find a way to tell Demyx why he was avoiding him without actually telling him why...

Zexion continued to walk around the school with no destination in mind. 'maybe I should go home...' Zexion said as he glanced out the window but froze when he saw Demyx passed out laid across Axel's lap. "Oh my god!" Zexion quickly ran down the stairs and headed for the courtyard with a very specific destination in mind now.

It didn't take him any longer than a minute to get there.

"Demyx!" Zexion shouted causing Axel and Marluxia to look up they flinched when Zexion ran up to them.

"It wasn't my fault!" Axel quickly defended and held his hands up in defense, Zexion narrowed his eyes glaring at them then reached for the still unconscious Demyx and cradled him in his arms.

"Demyx...Hey are you okay?" Zexion quietly said as touched Demyx's cheek,

Axel stared at Demyx for a while then frowned, why did Demyx pass out? it wasn't hot so heat couldn't have been the cause. "Hey Zexion you were with Demyx this morning, did he...ya know eat?" Axel questioned and Zexion visibly paled, they all went silent at that response. "This dude was so hung up on chasing us around he didn't even bother to get some food!?" Axel folded his arms and Marluxia shook his head.

"...I'll take him to the nurse office." Zexion said with a sigh. "Axel can you help me?" Zexion asked and Axel nodded his head and walked over to help him lift Demyx.

Demyx woke up feeling extremely hungry and slightly annoyed.

He noticed the lighting and realized the sun was setting outside, how long had he been out? Demyx started to get up but stopped when he heard soft breathing beside him, Zexion was sitting on a stool and resting his head on the bed, soundly asleep.

Demyx didn't know what to do, he could wake him up but he looked so... peaceful, Demyx didn't know how long he was staring at Zexion but before he knew it his hands were moving on its own, he brushed Zexion's hair behind his ear revealing the usually covered side of his face, But he had to admit Zexion really was quite cute now that he could see his entire face.

Suddenly Demyx felt a little sad he had been here for a month and a couple weeks now...he only had ten months left to spend time with Zexion, ten short months to get to know him then everything would be over he would leave and go home that still hadn't changed and it probably wouldn't, and here he was wasting time passing out.

Demyx's train of thought was interrupted when Zexion started waking up, Demyx noticed he was still leaning close to Zexion and moved away, Zexion slowly got up still half asleep until he noticed Demyx was awake.

"Demyx!" Zexion straightened up and nervously smiled at Demyx. "I Um I'm sorry!" He apologized catching Demyx off guard. "I let that stupid message Axel sent get to me." He continued and glanced out the window. "And avoided you for well no reason so." He looked back at Demyx the nervousness gone from his smile. "I'm Sorry!" He finished and Demyx stared at him looking dumbfounded Then cracked a smile of his own before bringing his hand up to pat Zexion on the head catching him off guard.

"It seems like you're always apologizing to me..." Demyx said as he slowly stroked the top of Zexion's head with a gentle smile.

Zexion gazed up at Demyx and pouted a faint blush forming on his face, Zexion tried to deny it he really did but he couldn't anymore he was starting to get attached to the blond and it was scaring him. "Hey... Demyx." Zexion started looking down at his legs and Demyx responded with a hm. "Lets...get something to eat." He slowly said still looking down at his legs.

Demyx let his hand fall back to his side and nodded his head. "Yeah..."
