The next morning I woke up feeling worse than the day before.

"Athena sweetheart I made you some citrus tea and breakfast." Grandma said sitting at the edge of my bed.

"Grandma you're here?" I said sleepily.

"Of course I am. There is no place I am needed at more than here with you. Linda called me last night and let me know what happen. So I made sure to come here early in the morning."

"Thank you." I said crawling over and laying my head on her lap.

"Rub my head please."

"Alright, alright. You don't have to give me those big puppy eyes. Blue did that enough when I came in. As I was leaving out of the hotel this morning I saw John their heading to the gym."

"Did he say anything? How was he?"

"He didn't say much. He apologized for not being in a better mood and said he was heading to the gym to try and clear his mind. He also offered to take me to breakfast but I told him I would have to take a rain check because you needed me."

"Did he mention anything else?"

"Not really, he just said that I should hurry to you. When I asked him why he wasn't coming as well he just said it's complicated right now. He gave me a hug and kiss and headed to the gym."

"Oh grandma" I said starting to cry.

"Now sweetie you're going to have to stop crying. That is not going to help right now. I need for you to tell me what happen so we can fix it."

Over breakfast I explained from beginning to end, everything that happened, even the mess with Lita.

"Wow. When John said it's complicated he wasn't joking. What are you thinking Athena?"

"After seeing the hurt in John's eyes I'm having trouble seeing that he could or would do any of those things."

"Me too." Linda said coming in from walking Blue. "We need to get to the bottom of this."

"What do you suggest dear?" Grandma said

"While I was at the dog park with Blue I called an old friend of mine. He was a police officer here in New York but now he's a detective out in Boston. I asked him if he could take a look into the police report you received."

"What did he say Lin?" I asked

"He will look into for me. I just need to email him copies. I plan to send him copies of the pictures as well."

"That's fantastic." Grandma said

"So I'm going to do that now. Then we have to go to your grandma's dress fitting because this wedding is still going to happen, even if it's the last thing I do."

With that said Linda began sending the police report to her friend and I got dressed and tried to make myself look decent. One hour later we were on our way to the dress store to find my grandma a dress.

"Wow there are so many dresses to choose from. Look at this red one very sexy. Maybe I can land me one of those wrestlers in this."

"GRANDMA!" Linda and I said at the same time.

It was the first time I laughed since all this craziness started. After trying on eight different dresses my grandma came out in an ivory dress that when the light hit it from different angles you could see an almost peach color shimmering through.

"Wow!" Linda and I said at the same time.

"You girls keep talking at the same time I am going to start thinking you're twins."

"You look amazing grandma." I said

"And who knew you had that great figure under those clothes." Linda added

"Thank you both. I guess this is the dress. I'm looking good." Grandma said looking at herself in the mirror.

**RING RING RING**

"I'll be right back." Linda said heading outside the dress store to answer the call.

"So how are you feeling sweetheart?"

"Being with you and Linda has brighten my mood some."

"ATHENA!" Linda yelled through the front door of the shop.

"What, what happen?"

"Come quick." Linda said.

I looked over at my grandma.

"Go Athena. While I get out of this dress."

I hurried out of the shop to where Linda was.

"What happened?"

"I just got off the phone with my friend in Boston."

"What did he say?"

"He said that he could not find any police report in the database. So he is having an intern check the hard copies to see if maybe it was missed by any chance."

I stood there frozen. This was great news. All I needed now was to wait and hear if there were copies that just weren't entered into the database. I was so in shock I didn't even notice my grandmother standing next to me talking to Linda.

"... don't you agree Athena. Athena...Athena! Did you hear me."

"Sorry. What did you say?"

"That's alright. I just think that we need to meet with Grace."

"That is probably the best thing. But, why would she lie?" Grandma said
