Mirror of Nightmare
Chapter 47: Day VI; Two Triforces.
-Somewhere in the world…
He is in a mysterious place…
He is walking in the mysterious place, holding two swords in both of his hands.
He walks until he reaches the altar. He kneels down and prays for a while…
And then he says…
"… Is this the right thing that the god wants me to do?"
He puts away his swords and picks two orbs up from the altar. One is white while another is black.
He raises those orbs over his head while mumble some spell.
Suddenly, the orbs start glowing, and they turn into the living creature!
The creature from the white orb is the white, graceful dragon.
The creature from the black orb is the black, scary dragon.
Upon the twin dragons come back, he says
"Welcome back, my friends."
"What are you trying to do?" The black dragon asks.
"We failed to protect the tower, so we returned into the stones and will never wake up again, but why did you wake us up?" The white dragon asks.
"Answer us, the Mysterious Demon." Both dragons ask.
Mysterious Demon looks at both dragons, before he starts answering,
"… He is no more my master." Mysterious Demon says. His word shocks both dragons.
"What?! How can you dare to say something like that?!" The white dragon says.
"Especially about the true blood and flesh of us." The black dragon says.
"… I am no more his puppet. I will defeat him and end this." Mysterious Demon says.
"Sound easy to say…" The black dragon says.
"But what can you do to defeat him? No matter what, he is a lot stronger than you." The white dragon says.
"… With this." Mysterious Demon says and shows his right backhand to both dragons, which appeared the glowing golden triangle mark.
"…The Triforce of Emotion?" The black dragon and the white dragon say.
-Awakening…
"!"
Link wakes up after seeing his dream. He looks at the clock, it is about 2:00 A.M. He thinks about his latest dream. The Mysterious Demon… wants to defeat the god?! And… The mark on the back of his right hand… Triforce!
"…Um… Link…"
Link turns his attention to the source of the voice and sees Rucas who has woke up by Link. Now everyone is camping in a cave in the Lapice Great Snowfield. Diasol, Navi and Yterval are still sleeping.
"What's wrong with you?" Rucas asks.
'Um…Nothing, Rucas. Never mind me.' Link thinks.
'Not nothing, Link.' Rucas says. His saying shocks Link. How can he know what is Link thinking?!
'Don't say anything. I can communicate with your mind with my aura, and our word will not be heard by anyone.' Rucas says.
'Fine… I have a nightmare.' Link thinks.
'Nightmare… About what?' Rucas asks.
Link starts telling Rucas via his mind about his latest dream, which is the 8th one, include his 3rd one and the 6th one.
'… Strange… You have the series dreams… And it is about the Mysterious Demon!' Rucas says.
'He said that he wants to kill the god… And he is the owner of Triforce' Link thinks.
'Hey… Isn't the owners of Triforce Princess Zelda, the evil human that you defeated, and you?" Rucas asks.
'…Hey… Rucas, is there a Triforce of Pokemon?" Link thinks.
'Hm… I heard that there is another Triforce in my world too… They are the Triforce of Knowledge, Triforce of Emotion and the Triforce of Willpower.' Rucas says.
'That is it! Mysterious Demon said that he is the owner of the Triforce of Emotion!' Link thinks.
'… That is very bad… He has one Triforce… Making it is harder for us to defeat him…' Rucas says.
'So… We need to find the owner of the Triforce of Willpower and the Triforce of Knowledge.' Link thinks.
But then, their conversation is interrupted by the sound of walking. Someone is coming!
"Who is coming in the middle of the night?" Rucas mumbles.
But then, two Pokemon appear. Link and Rucas find that they are no more than two dragons that they had met in the Palace of the Dragonking.
"Baron? Anna?" Rucas says.
"What's wrong with you? Still awake at 2:00?" Anna says.
"Well… But you too…" Rucas says.
"Anyway, we come here in order to… help you." King Baron says. His word surprises Link and Rucas.
"What?" Rucas says.
"Of course! You couldn't stand a chance against the Snow King! So we think that we could lend you a hand or two." Anna says.
"But…" Rucas says.
"Don't worry…. I have this." King Baron says and shows the mark on the back of his right hand, the mark of Triforce.
"Triforce?!" Rucas says.
"I am the holder of the Triforce of Knowledge. And I am not an ordinary dragon. I am Baron, Dragonking XII of Kingdom of the Dragonking and the Lost King." King Baron says.
After introduce his true identity, King Baron tells Rucas and Link everything about his past, and Rucas tells King Baron and Anna about his dream, about the Mysterious Demon and the Triforce of Emotion.
"That isn't good…" Anna says.
"That Mysterious Demon has one Triforce, I have one… And… Hm? What's wrong, Link?" King Baron says after he notices that Link is restless.
"Link, you have something to tell us?" Rucas asks, and Link shakes his head yes.
"Got it, I will listen to him through his mind…" Rucas says.
Rucas starts communicating with Link, after a while, Rucas seems surprise.
"King Baron, Link said that other than the dream about the Mysterious Demon, he had three other dreams, and all of them matches your past!" Rucas says.
"What? You had dreams about my past?!" King Baron says.
"Think starts to get complicated…" Anna says.
"Tomorrow we must proceed to the Northern Mountain and get the 7th piece of the Mirror of Nightmare!" King Baron says.
"But before that, can we sleep with you? I am tired of the journey through the blizzard…" Anna says.
"Sure…" Rucas says.
"Thank you…" Anna says and quickly falls into the deep sleep, follows by King Baron.
'…Well… Baron… I am thinking about something…' Rucas talks via his mind.
'Hm?' Link looks at Rucas.
'You had the two series dreams… And both of them are relevant to two holders of the Pokemon Triforce… So I think that you should have another series dream about the last holder of Triforce…' Rucas says.
'…Rucas, you are right.' Link thinks.
'Really, then… Could you tell me the last series dream?' Rucas asks.
Link starts telling the 2nd and the 5th dream to Rucas, about the feral creature that destroyed the village…
'Hm… I think that this dream is familiar… But I don't know why?' Rucas says.
'We heard from a bard in Hyrule Castle Town, right? His story is the same as my dreams…' Link thinks.
'…That bard must know something…' Rucas says.
'But we couldn't find him now… We need to get the last two pieces of the Mirror of Nightmare first.' Link thinks.
After finish talking via their mind, Link and Rucas fall into a deep sleep again.
