The Breaker
As Kara was getting used to the strange anomalies of the strange universe, she began to learn more about the body she inherits. So far, she learned that the guy was pretty greedy, something that she greatly disapproved of, selfish, had little morals about himself, loves money, and also loves jawbreakers - with a passion. She tried a jawbreaker before - of course, but she never tried the jawbreakers in this universe. She was at the garauge with her Justice League teammates, keeping an eye on both women - well one of them inheirts a preteen boy.
Diana was by the wall carrying a large load of equipment while Nass was making Bruce comfortible. The tension of both these women were intesifying. Kara was confused. Why was Diana so...tense?
"Wonder Woman?" Kara finally spoke, "Why are you...tense?"
"I am not tense, Supergirl," said Diana, giving Nass a confusing look, "It's just that...I'm stressed that's all."
"Really?" asked a skeptical Kara, "I may not have my abilities, but you are breathing abnormally - more angry like."
Diana glared at her.
"Alot angry like," she continued.
Suddenly, Jonny appeared just in the nick of time carrying four jawbreakers that he bought from the candy store. The three Leaguers gawked at the young boy carrying four mountainous balls.
"Those are some big jawbreakers," Kara said softly, "Bigger than the ones I ate."
Bruce can't keep his mouth closed. Diana twiched her eye.
"Jonny, where on Earth you got those...things?" Diana asked.
"What are you talking about Ed? You eat these like a monster you!" Jonny laughed, tossing Diana the large glass ball of sugar.
"And how can we stuff these in our mouths? They're huge?" Kara said.
"Steroids?" Bruce guessed.
The Leaguers were baffled. How on Earth can anyone eat something like this - until they saw Jonny open his large mouth and stuff the candy in his mouth, sliding it to his cheeks. The candy swelled into his cheeks ausing his ear to pop out, and his head to deform.
Two of the three Leaguers were about to barf. Kara shrugged and stuffed the jawbreaker into her mouth. Diana and Bruce said nothing.
"What, it's almost as if you guys never tasted a jawbreaker before," said Nass.
Bruce and Diana echanged faces.
