Divine Diva

Epilogue + Author's final words

Dawn was sitting on the couch, looking through her cell phone, bored. Now in the age of 30 she was well-known fashion designing and stylist, now owning her own brand 'Berlitz'. She turned on the TV, there was sitcom with Marina and Drew. They were cousins in the drama. Dawn smiled and turned the channel to see May singing on the stage as powerful as she was back in teenage days.

She turned the channel and there was a documentary with Misty giving a lecture about new marine specie found in Kanto. "Wow." Dawn said and then after hearing the lecture until her head got messed up she turned the TV off.

Her phone rang loudly and she picked the phone up, "Berlitz resident. Dawn Berlitz speaking." She said.

"Hey Dawn! How's it going?" Ash's loud and cheery voice boomed from the phone and Dawn immediately took it away from her ear.

"Not bad. So what's up?" Dawn asked.

"I'm throwing a party this Saturday. Everyone's coming! You are coming too, right?" Ash asked.

"What's the party for?" She asked lying on the couch now.

"Well, it's me and Misty's wedding anniversary and also the day we officially met." Ash said with a lot calmer voice.

"Oh, right. Okay I will talk to Paul and fly over to Kanto by Saturday you got that?"

"Yeah. Make sure he comes okay?"

Dawn giggled, "I will don't worry." And with the click sound the talk with her old friend was over. She sighed, staring up at the ceiling. She spaced out for about 5 minutes and still staring up, she looked for her phone with her hand. After finally grabbing it she looked slightly down and dialed Leaf's number.

After few beeps someone picked up, "Leaf Green speaking."

"Leaf, have you got call from Ash?"

"Yeah, about the party. It's going to be at his restaurant right?"

"I suppose so. Hey, is Gary going? Cause if he's going then I'm not."

"You got in a fight with him again?" Dawn asked.

"He's so annoying sometimes. I don't even know why I got married!"

"They say marriage is crazy."

"Tell me about it." Leaf chuckled and asked, "So, when are you and Paul getting married?"

Dawn coughed hard.

"Seriously? Something you need to ask right now?"

"Well you guys are not getting married, just wondering why."

"He's busy."

"But he's a biology teacher! How busy can he be?"

"A lot." Dawn could hear Leaf's sigh over the phone.

"But you are 30 now, don't you think you should really get married?"

"Can we please not talk about this right now? I'm stressed out these days, okay?"

"Alright. Then see you at the party?"

"Yeah, bye." Dawn sighed and tossed the phone beside her. She thought about what she should do but the phone rang again and she picked it up."

"Hello?" she said.

"Hey." Paul said over the line.

"Hi sweetheart what is it?"

"Do you have time at 6? Tonight."

"Sure, why?"

"A dinner date." Dawn raised her eyebrow. Paul wasn't romantic enough to ask someone out on a dinner date.

"What's up?"

"Nothing, I will see you tonight." And with that the call was over. Dawn rolled her eyes but got up and went to her closet room. Trying to decide on what to wear.

That night she was dressed in white blouse and black skirt that went to her knees. She put on wishbone necklace and silver moon shaped earrings and finally put on the white wristwatch Paul gave her as a gift. Dawn walked out the door and saw Paul standing there.

"Oh, you are here." Dawn said. She realized Paul was holding a red bouquet of roses and soon he handed it to her.

"Here take it." He said.

"Thanks." She said and inhaled the strong scent of the flowers.

"So where are we going?" Dawn asked heading toward Paul's car. Paul stopped for a moment and tapped Dawn shoulder to make her turn around. She did and she was surprised to see Paul kneeling on one knee, holding out a black box. He opened it showing that it contained a diamond ring.

"Dawn Berlitz, will you be my wife?"

Dawn blinked smiled and tackle-hugged him.

"Yes, yes, yes! Paul, I love you."

Paul pecked her forehead and whispered, "I love you too."

Quick ending, sorry for that.

Well this story isn't good because it was not a one I planned for a long time. It was a random idea and I wrote it. I was surprised to see it got over 200 reviews. Wow

There's not much to say because as I said it wasn't a story I put high hopes on.

But the next story, Yoru Hana, is. I hope everyone who are reading this puts interest and check out the brand new story by Imitating Eve.
