Mirror of Nightmare
Chapter 48: Day VI; Northern Mountain
After everyone wakes up in the morning, Rucas tells everyone about everything that happened last night. Everyone is shocked by the story about Mysterious Demon and King Baron. And now, it is the Day VI already, meaning that only two days left for them…
After the breakfast, Link, Navi, Rucas, Diasol, Yterval, Anna and King Baron continue their journey. Their destination is the Northern Mountain. Anna tells everyone that she had left two of her trusted minions, Latios and Latias, at the entrance to the Northern Mountain so they could guide everyone through the Northern Mountain if Anna and King Baron couldn't do it…
After meeting with Latios and Latias, Link and his friends start climbing the Northern Mountain.
Northern Mountain is the harsh, isolate land of Irtha. Its harsh, brutal and eternal blizzard makes it is the home of no living creatures, only the mirages of the snow king that inhabitant here. Sometime Link and his friends have to stop their journey for a while due to the harshness of the blizzard, and most of their team are weak against ice, making it is the hardest journey in the land of Irtha.
While on the journey, Latios, Latias are quickly forming a friendship with Navi due to both of them are being the advisor of Anna and Link respectable. (And both of them are talking too much)
Also, while resting on the Northern Mountain, Anna decides to talk with Diasol.
"Diasol…" Anna says.
"Hm? Dragonqueen XV?" Diasol says.
"You... Have we met each other before?" Anna asks.
"I don't think so. I spent most of my lifespan in the boring land of Soulyn." Diasol says.
"Then I must be wrong…" Anna says.
"Hm? Do I look like someone that you know?" Diasol asks.
"…Yes… You look like… her." Anna says.
"…Well… Although I couldn't remember anything, but my father told me that I am the reincarnation of the Lugia who travelled with a group of Hero/Heroine in defeating the evil long time ago…" Diasol says. Her words shock Anna.
"What?! Then you must be the incarnation of…" Anna says.
"Hm?! You know my early life?!" Diasol says.
"Yes… I was travelling with your early life and was your early life's sister…" Anna says.
"That's unbelievable!" Diasol says.
"In your early life… You were married with a Garchomp…" Anna says.
"That must be him!" Diasol says and looks at Yterval, who is reading the book of the dark magic.
"What?! Him too?!" Anna says.
"Then, you know both of us in our early life?! That's cool!" Diasol says.
"…" Anna says nothing.
"What's wrong?" Diasol asks.
"…Yterval… His early life… He was tortured by his own father, got brainwashed by the evil, received the evil power of the demon and finally died after we defeated the evil." Anna says.
"What?! His life is so sad!" Diasol says.
"…Because Yterval's early life is the only one that didn't hate your early life, so after he died, you couldn't bear a grudge anymore, so… One day your early life disappeared, never to appear again… Later LD told me that your early life asked him to kill her and made her to reborn and live with Yterval again…" Anna says.
"Romantic! Such a romantic story! A lonely princess couldn't bear a grudge of her husband's death so she chose to die in order to live with him again! I had never known that I have such a romantic life like this!" Diasol says.
"I could tell you more about your early life and Yterval's early life. Do you want me to do?" Anna asks.
"Sure!" Diasol says.

I stare at the Mysterious Demon, the one who serve the god and is the enemy of my group.
"Princess, I won't harm you. But now, I want to ask you about something…" Mysterious Demon says.
I stare at him. I am powerless. I know that if he decides to fight me, I will stand no chance against him. So…
"Where am I?" I decide to ask him a simple question first.
"… My place." Mysterious Demon says.
So, after someone pushed me into the River of Sin, I somehow end up here. But… how? Or is this the plan of the Mysterious Demon?
"… Are you the one who pushed me into the River of Sin?" I ask.
"…. The god ordered me not to harm you and your friends, so I have no reason to do something like that." Mysterious Demon answers.
What? He didn't do that? Then who? Who pushed me into that river? And how can I survive?
"How can I survive?!" I ask.
"… Before I told you further than that, I need to ask you about something." Mysterious Demon says. He finally brings us back to his topic.
"…" I say nothing.
"… I want to ask you to cooperate with me." Mysterious Demon says.
'Cooperate with you?!' I think. Since he is standing on the opposite side of mine and my friends, he is our enemy, and yet he wants me to cooperate with him?!
"… But I am not on your side and will never." I say.
"… Before you say anything, I will tell you about the thing that I want you to cooperate with me." Mysterious Demon says.
That is quite easy to guess. He may want me to serve the god too, want me to help him finding the piece of the Mirror of Nightmare, want me to stall my friends so he could get the piece of the Mirror of Nightmare before my friends could… Or… Maybe… He wants my power… My power is very strong, even I sometime couldn't control it. I can feel the fear every time I think about that. Because of my power, Lumina and Darkon became the enemy of each other…
However, the thing that he wants me to cooperate with me isn't all of them. It is something that I never guess that I could hear it from him…
"… I want you to cooperate with me in defeating the god." Mysterious Demon says.
