Chapter 49: Day VI; Snowlost Temple (2)
After passing through the trial of Northern Mountain, Link and his friends is standing in front of the destination of their adventure in Lapice, the Snowlost Temple.
"…Here it is… The Snow King that you mentioned… He is residing in this place…" Anna says.
"How do you know?" Diasol asks.
"… After our kingdom was frozen, King Baron and I went to this place to ask the Snow King to thaw our kingdom…" Anna says.
"Wait… You know the Snow King before?" Rucas asks.
"… He was the Dragonking before…" King Baron answers.
Dungeon VII-II: Snowlost Temple
After passing through the front door of the dungeon, Link and his friends find themselves in the main hall of the Snowlost Temple again, but the door that leads to the tower in the middle of the dungeon is locked again…
"So… It seems that we will have to pass the whole dungeon again…" King Baron says.
"But… We had used the key from the left side of the dungeon already…" Anna says.
"So.. The rest is…" King Baron says and looks at the right door of the main hall, which is sealed tightly.
"How can we open this door?" Latias asks.
"Open this door, how can we?" Latios asks.
"…Hey… I have an idea…" King Baron says.
Everyone turns their attention to Baron to listen to his idea.
"Maybe the left door is for Anna and I, and the right door is for Link and his friends…" King Baron says.
After hearing King Baron's idea, Link, Rucas, Diasol and Yterval walk up to the right door and touch it, making the right door opens easily.
"See? I am right." King Baron says.
Everyone walks into the right side of the dungeon. The puzzles in the right side of the dungeon is even harder than the one in the left side because it requires the ability from Link, Rucas, Diasol, Yterval, Anna and King Baron in order to solve it. There are no tool to find in this part of the dungeon since Anna and King Baron had found the Dragonheart Gauntlet in the left side of the dungeon already.
At the deepest part of the right side, they found another Glaciate Key, so they return to the Main Hall and unlock the door, before they step into Snowlost Temple Frost Garden, the middle area of the Snowlost Temple. In the middle of the Frost Garden stood a huge tower.
"That tower… The Snow King resides in that tower…" Anna says.
Everyone walks up to the tower. That tower is called the Frost Tower. It is very high, even if Link and his friends look up to the top of the tower, they couldn't see it because the top of the Frost Tower is even higher than the cloud layer. What is on the top of the tower is the mystery…
Link and his friends enter the tower, inside the tower is a spiral stair that leads them to the top of the tower, the stair seems endless…
But it doesn't hard as it seems to climb the stair, because the stair is actually shorter than everyone thought! It looks like the magic of someone that makes the stair seems endless…
At last, they reach the end of the stair, which is a door…
"What is on the other side of the door?" Yterval asks.
"There is only one way to figure out…" King Baron says.
Link grabs the knob of the door. It is colder than expected. Link swallows his saliva and opens the door.
The last room of the Frost Tower, which is the top of itself, looks like a bedroom for the royal family. The floor, wall and ceiling of the room are made from the never melt ice that glitters like the crystal or the pure diamond. Everything in the room is made from the ice or the crystal. This room has only one window, and someone is sitting near the window!
Everyone is shocked after seeing the one who is sitting near the window, because she is the one that everyone thought that she already died!
"XYNNIA!" Diasol says. Her sound turns the attention of the Lumina Princess to everyone.
"Oh! Diasol! Thank goodness!" Xynnia says in joy. But then, Xynnia falls unconscious!
"What?!" Diasol says.
"Xynnia! Are you alright?!" Yterval says and rushes up to Xynnia, but then, a mysterious light appears between Xynnia's body and everyone, before someone appears!
"… So you finally made it through the harsh blizzard and my place…" He says and turns his attention to everyone. Everyone is shocked after seeing him!
"Mysterious Demon!" Navi says.
"… I am surprised that you still remember my name…" Mysterious Demon says.
"Why you are here?!" Rucas asks.
"Simple, this is my place." Mysterious Demon says.
"Liar! This is the place of the Dragonking X, Frostic the Kyurem!" Anna says.
Mysterious Demon says nothing and places his hand on his face, before he removes it.
Everyone is shocked after seeing the true face of the Mysterious Demon. He is the ugliest creature that everyone had seen. His eyes are yellow and creepy. His skin is pale and gray. But… His true identity is…
"King Frostic!" Anna says.
"…Right. Mysterious Demon and I, Frostic the Kyurem, we are the same living creature." Frostic says.
"But…Why?! I don't understand! You are the great dragon and the soul of the Dragon God. But you serve Arceus!" Anna says.
"Shut up, Anna." Frostic says and turns his attention to Link.
"The last two battle with you, I didn't use every bits of my power, so…. I will fight you again, but with every bit of my power." Frostic says.
Link says nothing and prepares his weapon.
"Hold on! What's wrong with this?! Why Xynnia is with you?" Diasol asks.
"… Keep your question, Soulyn Princess. I will answer all of them once I finish duel with the Hero of Time." Frostic says.
"Never! We will fight alongside Link too!" Rucas says.
"… Do as you will… But first…" Frostic says and creates a sharp icicle, before he stabs it at King Baron's arms!
"What?!" Everyone says.
"King Baron!" Anna says.
"Ar.." King Baron says and looks at his bleed, there is a blood flowing from his bleed!
"No… Not here…" King Baron says and collapses on the floor.
"What?!" Everyone says.
"Don't worry, with the power of the Triforce of Knowledge, he won't die, but he will suffer from the bloodless body for a while…" Frostic says.
"Frostic! You heartless creature!" Yterval says. But then, he notices that he couldn't move! Diasol too!
"What?!" Diasol says.
"As the holder of the Triforce of Knowledge, he is too dangerous for me… And both of you are flying type…" Frostic says and shows the back of his right hand, where the mark of the Triforce is on it!
"That's the Triforce of Emotion!" Rucas says.
"With this power, I shall annihilate you all!" Frostic says and roars, before Link, Navi and Rucas is warped to the top of the tower!
"I will fight you for the last time, as Frostic the Kyurem, not the Mysterious Demon, here. I shall make you fall from this Frost Tower to your doom!" Frostic says and roars.
