Buttercup was in the backyard, sitting on the grass. She was mesmerized by the buttercup next to her.

She touched the delicate flower and smiled. "That reminds me of my first date with Butch."

Butch looked at Buttercup from his windowpane. He was grinning, so he opened his window and called down to his soon-to-be girlfriend. "Hey, Buttercup! Up here!"

She was looking up for the voice. Her eyes landed on his dark green eyes. She waved for him to come down here. "Try and jump down!" she yelled. Butch looked down.

Looks like a long drop.

His forehead dripped sweat. Buttercup stood up. "Come on, I did it once! I know you can do it!" Buttercup encouraged him to do so.

He climbed onto the window, closed his eyes, and jumped off. Something caught his fall. Butch opened one eye. Buttercup caught him. "Dude," she said, moving her arms up and down, "you are so light. How do you do that?" Butch escaped from her arms and dusted himself off.

She was chuckling a little. "You wouldn't possibly want to know, right?" he asked, ruffling her hair. "Maybe, maybe not." she replied, fixing her hair.

Out of her surprise, Butch tackled her down to the grass, pinning her. As if it was magic, buttercups began growing all over the grass.

Her eyes widened. "What are you doing?" she suspiciously questioned him. He laughed. "You're under my domain now, bitch." Butch whispered.

"What the hell do you mean by that...?" Butch was leaning in closer. Buttercup knew what he was going to do.

Kiss... you...

Before she could back out, his lips softly brushed against hers. It was a short kiss, but lovable and passionate. In Buttercup's dismay, playful and mischievous.

He pulled away, cocking his head to the side a little. "Are you surprised?" Butch laughed. She was absolutely speechless.

Buttercup looked away from his eyes to keep her from stuttering. He raised an eyebrow at her. "You're so cocky!" Buttercup yelled at him. "So, let go of me!" Her blush was still on her face. He moved to the side and she sat up, not looking at him.

Her black hair barely covered her red cheeks. He smirked. Buttercup's legs came closer to her chest.

They both stayed in the quiet for three minutes.

Butch flipped his hair, trying to get her attention. "You know that doesn't work on me." She said before turning her head to look at him. He swore he saw her smile a little.

Now it was his turn to blush. Buttercup got up and stretched. She looked down on him on the grass. As she let out a chuckle, Buttercup ruffled his hair and walked back into the house.

He stayed there for a little and laughed.

"Um..."

"What is it?"

She twirled her fingers, while her sister looked at her. "It's about Buttercup... What if she's in trouble?" she asked meekly like a princess. Blossom groaned. "It might take forever, but..."

Bubbles stood up from her bed and walked up towards her. "I don't know what she's doing, but I know she's being safe out there. Maybe she's staying with Brute or by herself."

Blossom felt like her brain might explode with a lot of information by her blonde sister. "Okay, okay. So Plan B, Bubbles."

She cocked an eyebrow at her. "What?"

"Plan B. Search for her at Berserk's. Maybe we can go there."

Blossom's lips curved into a smile.

"Good idea, Bubbles."

"Night already?" Butch complained. He just received a smack on top of his head by his red-headed brother who said, "What the hell are you talking about? Your curtains are covering your window. It's still day, idiot."

Buttercup laughed at Butch while he opened his curtains, seeing the fact that the sun is still up. He knows the sun is now mocking him.

Boomer gave them a raised eyebrow. "Why are we here in his room?" he asked, very clueless. Butch smirked at his blonde brother. He turned around to face him. "Well, tonight is the night for the meteor shower." Butch explained, leaving all the four laying on their backs. They were dying of boredom. He ignored them and continued, "We are all going to make a wish and none of you are leaving unless we do it!"

Brute, Brick, and Boomer groaned while Buttercup jumped up onto her feet and made her way to Butch's bed.

All eyes were on her, making sure she doesn't do anything. She sat on it, at first. Then stood up and jumped. "Whoo-hoo! This is fun!" And her voice was music to Butch's ears.

"Really?" Butch cocked an eyebrow at her, waiting to grab her.

When she was laughing, she fell off the bed, only being held by strong arms. She peeked open one eye and her eyes widened when she saw him. "Hell no." she whispered, muttering curses under her breath. He chuckled.

"Unlike all of the people on Earth, it had to be you two." said Brute, who already left the room after. Boomer butted in, "Yeah, why?" Then he left, too.

Brick decided to stay here, watch the two's every move. "That's great, but... I'd rather go now." He stood up. He stopped at the door. "Bye." And he went out the door.

Butch looked at Buttercup who was struggling to get out of his arms, blushing. "Aww, come on. You know you love me." he cooed. She stopped for a little to death glare him -he smirked- and continued to get out.

"Goddamn it! Let me go!" Once she said that, Butch let go and she fell to the floor and got up shooting another glare at him. "What? You told me to let go of you. So I did." Butch smirked triumphantly at her, who she, just plainly rolled her eyes.

"Idiot."

When the sun had set and the moon had risen, Buttercup was in her room watching the meteor shower from her window.

Her eyes were closed, wishing very hard. "I wish... I wish..." she started off. "I wish that... me and Butch will be together tomorrow." The last part she whispered because she didn't want Butch to hear her.

She opened her eyes and scowled. "I knew it." she hissed. "It won't definitely come true." And threw herself on the bed.

Staring at the ceiling, her thoughts raced. "Will it come true?" and "Does he like me now?"

Shaking her head at the thoughts, she said, "Might not be." And her eyes closed into a deep sleep.

"I wish that Buttercup will like me."

Butch stared at the dark sky with falling stars. He said that over and over.

Opening his eyes, he smiled at the thought.
