Chapter 54: PoLIS; Lover from the Past
-Diasol and Yterval's route
Diasol and Yterval fight themselves in a dark hall… Not even a single light that can be seen from this place…
"Where are us?!" Diasol asks and grabs Yterval's arm tightly.
"…The only place that as dark as this… This must be the Darkon Road…" Yterval says.
Darkon Road is the road that link between Darkon and Lumina. But this road had been closed for several centuries due to the conflict between the Lumina and the Darkon…
Before Diasol could say anything, both Diasol and Yterval notice that someone is walking in this dark road!
"!" Diasol screams and hugs Yterval tightly, because that Pokemon is one of the scariest thing that Diasol had seen in the world!
That Pokemon looks like a cross between a bird and a dragon. It has two black, large, ivory wings that covered with scales… As well as its body that is covered with the scales too… It eyes are as red as blood… It is holding a cat doll with its right arm…
"Who is that Pokemon?!" Diasol says, but that Pokemon acts like that it doesn't see Diasol and Yterval.
"…It is a Lugia." Yterval says after realizing about it…
"What?! A Lugia?!" Diasol says.
"….Yes… A female Lugia…" Yterval says.
"What?! A female Lugia…Like me?!" Diasol says.
That female Lugia is the ugliest Pokemon that Diasol and Yterval had seen. But… her eyes… it looks familiar…
"... Diasol… Do you notice…?" Yterval asks.
"Notice?" Diasol asks.
"…Her eyes… have a gleam… very much… like yours…" Yterval says.
"What?!" Diasol says.
"Maybe… That Lugia… is you." Yterval says.
Diasol gazes at that Lugia. That ugly Lugia was herself?!
But then, that ugly Lugia stops walking, because someone is standing in front of her.
That Pokemon is a just a normal Garchomp, but the thing that is not normal for him is that he is wearing a white skull on his face, making it is impossible to see his face. Only his eyes that can be seen through the white skull.
"Wahh! That Garchomp is scary!" Diasol says.
"…" Yterval says.
"But… his eyes… have a gleam like yours, Yterval! A gleam of the murderer!" Diasol says.
"…" Yterval says nothing.
Both ugly Lugia and Garchomp stares at each other. Then the ugly Lugia picks a weapon from her bag. And the Garchomp picks his pistol from his pocket too. They prepare to fight each other! But then…
"…I…lose…" The ugly Lugia says and turns back. Her action surprises that Garchomp.
"What?!" Garchomp says.
"What was wrong with myself?!" Diasol asks.
"Ha! Maybe you fell in love with me, so you couldn't attack the one whom you love!" Yterval says.
But after Yterval finishes talking, the room changes again. This time, the room looks like a church… There is a few Pokemon in the room, but… There are four outstanding Pokemon there. One is a Lugia who dressed in a bishop suit. One is a scary-looking Garchomp. And the rest two is Diasol and Yterval's past avatar. Diasol's past avatar is wearing a black dress while Yterval's past avatar is wearing a white tuxedo!
"Winsol, Tersoul, are you sure about this?" The Lugia in the bishop suit asks.
"Yes." The ugly Lugia named Winsol and the white-skull Garchomp named Tersoul answers.
"Don't you afraid that the guild will be with you for eternity?" The Lugia in the bishop suit asks.
"The guilt is so much; even I couldn't bare it…" The scary-looking Garchomp says.
Winsol and Tersoul say nothing and nod their head.
"So… This was our wedding in our last life…" Yterval says.
"But what did the Lugia in the bishop suit means? The guilt?" Diasol says.
"I don't know…" Yterval says, but then, the room starts to change again.
This time, they are in a room that made of ice, very much like a room in the Snowlost Temple.
"Where are us now? Snowlost Temple?" Diasol asks.
"I don't remember that there is any room that looks like this in the Snowlost Temple…" Yterval says.
In the room, there is only one Pokemon, he is Yterval's past avatar, Tersoul the Garchomp. But this time, he doesn't wear a white skull on his face. He is looking at his pistol with a strange face…
"Click!"
The door opens, and Diasol's past avatar, Winsol the ugly Lugia, walks into the room.
"Tersoul, how was your…" Winsol asks, but then, a bullet comes out of Tersoul's pistol and runs to Winsol! Luckily that Winsol is able to dodge the bullet.
"Tersoul! What were you doing?!" Winsol asks.
"Ugly Lugia, how dare you come into my room?! Get out of here!" Tersoul roars.
"Tersoul! Calm down!" Winsol says, but then, Tersoul slaps her face.
"I am tired of your stupid habit! Get out of my life!" Tersoul says and kicks Winsol out of the room!
"What?!" Yterval and Diasol are shocked by the thing that had just happened.
But then, the room changes again. This time, it looks like a top of a tower. Winsol is holding Tersoul's body. Tersoul is sparking with a faint light, and his body is about to fade away!
"…" Winsol says nothing.
"… Winsol… If I can… I want to have wings… So I could… fly into the sky… with you…" Tersoul says.
But before Diasol and Yterval could say anything more, everything disappears, and they find themselves back into the main hall, but the sealed door is glowing with a faint light!
"What did just happened?!" Diasol asks.
"… We had passed through our pass.. That is our story before we could live together in this life…" Yterval says.
"…" Diasol says nothing.
"And now, we had finished our trial… So the sealed door is unlocked… But for a little bit…" Yterval says.
"…Yterval…" Diasol says.
"Hm?" Yterval looks at Diasol.
"…. We will not apart from each other again, right?" Diasol asks.
"Of course. I will always be with you. We will live together and will die together, I promise." Yterval says and hugs Diasol.
"I will be with you for eternity… I promise…"
