I kept my promise, haven't I? *winks and smiles*
*whispers* All. For. You.
Let's get on with it!
| FINAL - I'll Miss and Kiss You Goodbye |
"I wish for me and Butch to get together." Buttercup whispered.
"I wish for Buttercup to like me." Butch muttered.
As they said their wishes onto the shooting star, the both of them opened their eyes. One grinned like an idiot and the other had a blank face, blinking.
The green-eyed girl rolled her eyes. "Seeing how that will work, tch." she snorted.
She looked out at the night sky for one more minute and headed off to bed.
"Let's see if that wish won't be useless or not," Buttercup mumbled to herself while pulling the green comforters over her petite body.
Her eyes stared at the ceiling for a bit before turning to her side, facing her nightstand. Puffing out her cheeks, she rolled over to her other side. That's when she sat up in annoyance, crossing her arms like a child.
"God! Why can't I fall asleep!" she complained to no one.
"Just close your eyes and stop thinking about him, would you?" She forced her eyelids shut and then drifted off to sleep.
...
In the other room, Butch was too busy staring out into space... literally.
He sighed like a princess waiting for her true love to come and rescue her. Either that or he was going to say in a falsetto voice, "Oh Romeo. Where art thou, Romeo?" while curling a strand of fake hair from a wig.
Let's not.
He snapped out of his trance and stood up from his seat, heading out to the balcony.
"The breeze feels nice," he said to no one in particular, leaning on the black railings. "This would be where I would hug her by her waist and enjoy the night view. That is unless Brute doesn't kill me for 'touching' her." Butch shook his head as the thought came up in his mind.
Butch immediately darted towards the room Buttercup was in. He imagined seeing her sleeping pretty face again, with a faint trace of drool. He chuckled to himself.
Looking up at the dark sky, he could see the full moon shine its brightest over Viletown. Butch thought that Buttercup shines best, too.
Not when she's all violent, though.
Checking the time on his wristwatch, he immediately headed back into his room and climbed on top of his bed. "Ah, I'm expecting to see that wish come true." He sat up and flipped his fringe to the right.
Sticking out his tongue, Butch fell down onto his back. He turned over to the side and slept.
...
The sun shone bright from their windows, making Buttercup groan. "Ugh, I hate it when sunlight goes into my eyes. Hurts like hell." she muttered, messing up her messy hair as she sat up.
Brute bursted into her room, screaming "Happy, happy, happy birthday to dear Butters!" She chuckled at the sight of her.
She had a dark green party hat on her head and holding up a sign saying, "Hey, it's BC's birthday today! Greet her, you son of a fucking bitch!"
Buttercup hopped off her bed to hug her best friend. "Thanks so much, Brute."
"You're welcome, Girlie." she responded, patting her back before pulling back.
"Girlie? What the hell?" Buttercup questioned, scrunching her face a little.
Brute just smiled and ruffled her hair even more. "Hey, I'm going to throw a party just for you. Okay?"
"I praise you so much right now."
Brute let out a hearty laughter and petted her head.
"Dude, you're eighteen now. What am I? Twenty? I'm old as fuck!" she exclaimed.
Buttercup laughed and removed her hand from the top of her scalp. "You? Old? You look like a fifteen-year-old teenager!"
Brute looked surprised, judging by her agape mouth and shocked expression. "Only because I use moisturizer, that's all. Goodbye." She hurried out the room, leaving her friend behind laughing.
Knock. Knock.
"Yo, it's open!" Buttercup yelled, fixing her hair at her vanity. The door opened, Butch's head peeking out.
"'Sup, girl. I heard your birthday's today." Buttercup turned around, along with a blank face. "What do you want?" She remembered the wish she made last night.
Butch stepped in with an expression she couldn't tell. "Well, Brick and Boomer are preparing for your party and well," he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "Brute wants us out of the house. Stating that we do something fun."
She raised a quizzical eyebrow at him. "Did you just say that so you can have some alone time with me?" Butch's eyes widened and held out his palms, waving them at her.
"No! No! Brute actually said that! I'm not lying!"
Buttercup stood up. Butch saw her eyes topped with eyeliner perfectly aligned and a small hint of black-and-green eyeshadow on her lids.
Did she ever wear makeup before? Butch thought. Before he knew it, Buttercup was gone. Did I daydream about her for so long, she already disappeared?
He shrugged it off.
Oh well. Time to help. By help, I mean watch... What? Just what the hell am I thinking about?
Butch exited and went downstairs to where his brothers were.
...
"Butch, put that there."
"No, no. There."
"Almost..."
Butch placed the picture frame on the wall incorrectly. Brick screamed at him for messing up, "YAH, YOU IDIOT! TEN INCHES TO THE FREAKIN' LEFT! OH MY GOD, NOW ONE-AND-A-HALF MORE!"
Butch shot the redhead a look of boredom. He bit his lip to not let Brick shout at him again, so he just followed his instructions.
Calm Brick was back. "Now that wasn't so hard, wasn't it?" He walked out of the decorated living room and into the kitchen where Boomer was baking the cake.
Bipolar Bitchy Brick. Butch shook his head and plopped down on the couch.
"Butch, get your ass upstairs now!" yelled Brute. Butch muttered under his breath "Her and her fucking loud voice." as he trudged upstairs like a snail.
He blew a raspberry as he walked two more steps. "Exercise is just not my style."
Yelling was heard from upstairs. "What the hell do you mean by 'You're going'?"
"I can't stay anymore. Blossom found me by calling your sister, Berserk!"
"You can stay here, we can just stall your sisters!"
"No, I can't."
Brute yelled for Butch again. "Butch, you bastard! Where the fuck are you, damn it! Get your girfriend's head straight!"
He hurried up the steps, almost tripping.
Buttercup's leaving? No. No. No.
How is Butch's happily ever after going to end after his one-and-only crush is gone for good?
That's up to him. Just him.
Once he got to the top of the stairs, he quickly dashed for Buttercup's room, checking to see if she's still there.
He sighed in relief.
She's there.
With her hands buried in her face.
He slowly walked over to her bed and sat next to her.
"Hey, are you okay?" Butch softly asked.
She shook her head, still in her hands. He nodded.
Butch put his left arm around Buttercup's waist and leaned his head on her small shoulder. She removed her hands from her face and looked to her side.
Looking at the boy next to her, she mumbled, "You can't stop me."
Butch lifted his head up a little and stared into her emerald-green eyes. Their gaze held for a little while until Butch leaned in foreward, their foreheads touching each other.
"Wh-what are you—"
She got cut off by a pair of lips capturing hers. It was a soft, yet passionate one.
Butch pulled away and gave her a small smile.
Buttercup was indeed surprised.
He pinched her cheek and she slapped his hand away. "Don't touch my beautiful face," she hissed at him. That only made him chuckle.
"Happy birthday, sweet flower." He pulled her in for a hug.
She was also not fond of skinship, but she went for it anyways. She hugged him back.
"Thanks, Bitch."
He pulled back "It's Butch."
"Bitch," she retorted.
He pouted, "It's Butch."
"Bitch."
"Butch."
"Butch."
"Bu- oh wait." He bit his lower lip in embarrassment.
She laughed and slapped his arm. She then poked it. "It's fat."
He gaped at her statement. "No really!" She poked it again and again. Buttercup let out a giggle. "Fatty Butch!"
While she was making fun of him, Butch liked the way she was smiling. By the thought of that, his cheeks had a faint shade of red.
"Oh, you're blushing!" Does she have to make everything obvious?
Instead of being flustered again, he pulled her into another kiss.
Pulling away again, he saw her cheeks go a deep red. More deeper than his.
"W-what was that for...?" Buttercup asked, stuttering again.
It was his turn to laugh and make fun of her. "Your face is red!" She puffed out her cheeks, only to make him poke it.
"You look like a steamed bun," he commented. "And that was your goodbye kiss."
"Goodbye kiss?"
"Yeah, you're leaving, aren't you?"
She nodded in response. She abruptly stood up and grabbed her backpack. She slung it over her shoulder.
"Of course, I don't ever want to see my sisters ever again." Her tone became all icy and cold when she mentioned her sisters. Her face was expressionless. She walked out of her room, but Butch stopped her by grabbing her wrist.
"Don't leave me."
"What do you mean—" Before she could finish, his lips crashed onto hers. Buttercup didn't know what to do again.
After reciting all those K-dramas ahe watched, Buttercup threw her arms around Butch's neck.
Two minutes barely passed and they needed a breath of air. "I'm sorry, Butch. Let me go." His grip loosened on her wrist. Her free hand removed his hand and placed it on her cheek.
"Please." she whispered, almost inaudible.
Butch bit the insides of his cheek. He couldn't let his girl go. But that wasn't love. It was desire.
He didn't know what to say, Butch just nodded. "Go."
She smiled. That will be the last time she will ever smile in front of me, huh?
Buttercup blew him a kiss and hurried down the steps. Butch stood in front of her door, resting his forehead on it.
"This is desire, isn't it. The sweetest desire I felt in my entire life."
Author's Note:
The end. Oh my God, I really wanted myself to freakin' write thirteen chapters, but to be honest, I did have writer's block and couldn't think of any great ideas or inspiration I could use. I tried to push myself, but sadly, I couldn't.
I could admit; it was totally fun writing this story and to the authors who favorited/followed/reviewed. As for me, I can continue to write that Greens one-shot. I think that's the only time I will be able to write PPG/PPGZ fanfics. The rest, well, I'm going to be on Asianfanfics most of the time and read some EXO fics.
Also, I believe that I dropped a link in my profile leading there. So if you have an account and love my stories on here, don't be afraid to friend or talk to me. I love meeting a fellow K-POP fan!
So here I am, tears brimming because I really liked this writing this story so damn much and it's hard to stop writing it. Oh well, I'll see if I can get interest once again in writing this fic. I've ben attached to K-POP since two years ago, I think it's hard to stop listening to it.
Thanks so much to everyone. My heart will go on~!
Annyeong! (I've been watching K-dramas, too. XD)
*OFF TOPIC* All right. If you would love to see a preview of that one-shot. Please scroll down. I didn't even decide a title for it yet. OTL. Or should it just be "One-Shot: Greens"? I really don't know.
| One-Shot : Greens |
Living alone in a condo is one of the things I have.
With a neighbor who is famous and rich as fuck.
He's the new rookie star, GreenEyes. Lame stage name, am I right?
Well, his real name is Butch Jojo. He's the same age as me, but older than me by five months. He's got two brothers: Brick, the redhead and Boomer, the blonde. They are baristas in a coffee shop I go to everyday. I don't know, but they really make one mean latte.
I wonder why those two chose that job over being famous like their brother. Probably didn't want to get mobbed by a bunch of crazy fangirls.
Me?
I just knew Butch by greeting him for being my new neighbor. Which I think was over two months ago.
He's pretty chill, I admit. 100% better than Mitch Mitchellson, who basically had a temper.
Speaking of him, he... passed on because of cancer.
Butch is going to drop me at school since I don't have my license yet.
Yet.
So here I am, fixing my school uniform and making sure my ID is visible. Who the hell invented uniforms, anyways? Once I find out who did, he or she will die in my hands even if they are dead or not.
Deo dangdanghage neon Mr. Mr. (nal bwa) Mr. Mr. (geurae baro neo neo neo)
Where was the last time I put my damn phone?!
Aha. It was under the couch cushions. Then I sang along to the song.
SNSD is the best girl group, I swear to God. Don't like them? Come at me bro!
I saw the caller ID and almost laughed my ass off.
GreenEyed Bastard.
Like the name I filed Butch's stage name under? I'm so original.
"Yo." I answered.
"You're late." Butch deadpanned over the phone. He's so impatient. Just what kind of person is he?
I rolled my eyes. "Well, I'm coming!" That's what she said. Ha!
"Well, hurry up!" I'm in the middle of fixing my stuff, you idiot!
"Alright! Alright!" I forced my things into my backpack and hurried out the door.
I passed through his apartment door, Room 210, and stuck my tongue out at it.
"Stupid idol for making me late." I muttered to myself, going inside the elevator.
Author's Note:
I mentioned "Mr. Mr." by Girls' Generation (SNSD) as Buttercup's ringtone because... well, I like that and I have it as my alarm too, so... yep. Using KPOP songs as a part of another story.
*sighs like a desperate princess* I just love it.
