Chapter 59: The Heart of Dragon
After Frostic finishes saying, Arceus's body turns white, and then he changes back to his original form.
"Excellent! I thought that no one will figure out of me, and I will have to stay in this disgusting form of Arceus until the end…" Legendary Dragon, or in the short, LD, says.
"Shut up, LD." Frostic says.
"Well, well, isn't that too rude to speak to the Dragon God like me?" LD asks.
"You are no more the god for me, LD." Frostic says.
"No matter what you say, do not remember that you are the part of my body, so you couldn't exist without me." LD says.
"… As well as you couldn't exist with me." Frostic says.
"That is not true. I split you out of my body, so both of us exist…" LD says.
"…" Frostic says nothing.
"So, without me, you will not exist." LD says and then he turns his attention to Link and his friends.
"Before you get more confusing, let me introduce myself. I am the other god who rules this world beside Arceus. My true name is Legendary Dragon, or in the short, LD. But I'd prefer you to call me by my true name or call me the Dragon God." LD says.
"Whatever, but I think that I could not forgive you for the sin that you had done…" Yterval says.
"Save your judgment for later, now let's battle!" LD says.
The Dragon God
Legendary Dragon
LD is a lot stronger than when he was in Arceus form, because he can use all of his power. Although most of his attacks are dragon type move, which don't hurt Xynnia even a bit, but LD still has other attacks that cause serious damage to everyone.
"Everyone! Don't give up! We can't let him complete his nasty legend of cleaning the world!" Rucas says.
"With the power of four Triforce, we will defeat him!" King Baron says.
"… Although I am a dragon, but I think that the thing that LD did is not the right thing!" Anna says.
"Say as you want." LD says.
"…LD, I have a question." Frostic says.
"Say it out, Frostic." LD says.
"… I am your corpse, I am the part of you. After I combined myself with Reshiram and Zekrom and gave a rebirth to you, why did you decide to let me live on?" Frostic asks.
"Stupid question, Frostic. I need a trusted servant to serve me in completing my legend, and you are the one…. I couldn't believe that even the one that I trusted most will turn into a traitor!" LD says.
"I am not a traitor! I just did the think that I think that it is a right thing!" Frostic says.
"…" LD says nothing and looks at Frostic, and then he looks at Xynnia.
"You two are too complicated for me to understand…" LD mumbles and turns his attention to King Baron.
"King Baron, you may know this since you are the holder of the Triforce of Knowledge, I was the one who gave the Triforce of Knowledge to you." LD says.
"Yes, I knew it. But my brain couldn't figure out the reason for you to do it…" King Baron says.
"I just want you to be the part of my legend…" LD says.
"Then, it means that my Triforce of Willpower … You gave it to me, right?" Rucas asks.
"…" LD says nothing and continues attacking Link and everyone.
The battle seems hopeless, LD is too strong for everyone…
"We must think of a way to attack him!" Ellisk says.
"But…how?" Soryl asks.
"That savage dragon with the Dragonheart is… very ferocious." Terrus says. His words brings the attention of LD to him.
"That's the word that I couldn't expect from the dragon type Pokemon." LD says.
"…. I am not the Dragon type Pokemon. I am the ground type Pokemon. I hate my dragon side of mine…" Terrus says.
"Hm… It seems like that you have no Heart of Dragon…" LD says.
But…
LD's word triggers something in Frostic's brain.
'The Heart of Dragon?!' Frostic thinks. Then he gets an idea…
It is the only way that he knows to defeat LD…
Because LD has only one weakness…
And that weakness is…
Frostic calls Link and Xynnia and tells them his plan. After hearing his plan, Xynnia protests it immediately.
"Frostic! Are you mad?! I will never accept the plan like that! Never!" Xynnia says.
"Xynnia… That is the only way to defeat LD…" Frostic says.
"But Frostic, you know this! You know that I love you!" Xynnia says.
"Then snap it out! Our love couldn't go on!" Frostic scolds.
"Frostic…" Xynnia says.
"Just follow my plan. Although our love will stop soon… But your life will go on…" Frostic says.
"What are you talking about? Decide to give up?" LD asks.
"Never!" Frostic says and turns the attention to everyone on his side.
"Everyone! Step away! I have a plan to defeat him! And we need only Xynnia, Link and I!" Frostic says. Everyone quickly follows his command without any question.
After everyone steps away, Frostic turns his attention to Xynnia.
"Xynnia, please…" Frostic says, but Xynnia shakes her head no.
"Frostic! Oh! I can't!" Xynnia says.
"Xynnia! Don't be a stubborn deer! Just do it!" Frostic says. But Xynnia still shakes her head.
"I can't! Especially that it is the thing that I have to do to the one whom I love!" Xynnia says.
"Xynnia… I am sorry…" Frostic says and attacks Xynnia with his dark, forbidden magic. This magic will hurt Xynnia much!
"Frostic!" Xynnia roars before her body starts glowing with the strange aura! Seeing this brought back the painful memory that Diasol and Yterval had….
In the wedding…
"Xynnia!" Diasol and Yterval roars, because the thing that Frostic did, it makes Xynnia couldn't control her power! And then, she will release her power to attack everything around herself!
"!" Xynnia tries to control her power, but then, Frostic suddenly hugs her tightly.
"Idiot Frostic, what are you trying to do?" LD asks.
"Frostic! Get away from me!" Xynnia cries.
"…No." Frostic says.
"Please… If you don't go… My power… will… hurt you…" Xynnia says.
"That is the thing that I want." Frostic says. His word shocks LD very much, because LD finally realize in Frostic's plan!
"Frostic! You idiot!" LD roars, but then, Xynnia's power has finally released from her body! That power hurts Frostic directly! But…
"ARRRGGG!" LD roars in pain. Seeing this makes everyone understands Frostic's plan. Since Frostic is the part of LD's body, so if Frostic gets hurt, LD will get hurt too!
"Frostic! You idiot!" LD roars and catches his breath!
Link prepares his sword, this is the chance to finish the battle!
'DIE!' Link thinks and stabs his sword into LD's chest.
"ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" LD roars in pain before collapsing on the floor of the Lumina Hall.
Everyone looks at LD… Is he die yet?
"Is it…over now?" Navi asks.
Before everyone could say anything, LD gets up again and looks at everyone with his crafty eyes.
"I underestimated you… You are truly unpredictable…" LD says.
"So…" Everyone says.
"And… Thank you for the battle. My legend finally complete now…" LD says.
