Chapter 60: You Have My Promise
Everyone is shocked by LD's word. LD's legend had been completed?!
Before everyone could say anything, a white deer appears between everyone and LD. Everyone is shocked again after seeing him, because he is the true god, Arceus.
Arceus looks at LD with his furious eyes before letting out a roar.
"LD!" Arceus roars.
"Woah! Wait! Beware of your blood pressure!" LD says.
"I SHALL KILL YOU, LD!" Arceus roars.
Before anyone could do anything, the door to the Lumina Hall opens again, and then Zygarde, Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf enter the Lumina Hall.
"XYNNIA! WHERE IS SHE?!" Zygarde asks.
"Father! Calm down!" Diasol says.
"Where is Princess Xynnia?!" Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf ask.
Everyone realizes that they completely forgot about Xynnia and Frostic. And…
Frostic is lying on the floor of the Lumina Hall. He has no bleeding, but he is very suffering from Xynnia's power. Xynnia is hugging Frostic's body and cries.
"PRINCESS! Get out of that demon!" Uxie says.
Xynnia says nothing and touches Frostic softly.
"Frostic… You are the worst demon in this world…" Xynnia says.
"…" Frostic says nothing. Although he is still alive, but he couldn't even move or talk. He is waiting for the time…
For the time that the pain, suffer and nightmare that he has will finally end…
"… Frostic, you have done a mad thing… So… I shall punish you…" Xynnia says and touches Frostic's forehead softly. This makes Frostic to glow with strange aura! Everyone especially Diasol, Yterval, Zygarde, Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf (except LD and Arceus) is shocked by her act!
Because the thing that she is doing is…
"XYNNIA! STOP!" Zygarde says.
"That demon is not worth for your bless!" Mesprit says.
"And you had lost too much off your power!" Azelf says.
But Xynnia doesn't mind everyone's word. She still keep doing the thing that she was doing…
And finally…
Frostic regains all of his power and stands up. He feels like that he is reborn…
But on the contrary… Xynnia…
Xynnia is lying on the floor. She is breathing very harsh… And her horn is glowing with a very faint light… as well as her body…
"Xynnia!" Diasol says.
"Yterval, what was Xynnia doing to Frostic's body?" Rucas asks.
"… She blessed him with the power of life." Yterval answers.
Everyone understands everything. Xynnia gives her power to Frostic in order to save his life… But… Because Xynnia had lost too much power in a fight with LD, she will not have enough life force to stay alive!
"… After she had lost too much of her power… Now she has no enough life force to stay life… She will have to return to her tree form for over a millennium…" Yterval says.
"Huff…Huf…" Xynnia breaths very hard… Soon… She will return to her tree form.
"Xynnia…" Diasol says and walks up to Xynnia, followed by Yterval, Zygarde, Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf.
"Xynnia, you stupid Xerneas…" Zygarde says.
"Princess, you must come with us!" Mesprit says.
"We will take you to the Lumina Garden, princess, so you will be able to rest there for over a millennium." Uxie says.
"Xynnia, come with me." Zygarde says and helps Xynnia to stand up. After Xynnia is able to stand up, Frostic steps to help Xynnia, but he is stopped by Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf.
"GET AWAY! DEMON! YOU ARE THE ONE WHO KILL XYNNIA!" Azelf roars.
"…" Frostic says nothing and steps away from Xynnia.
"Xynnia… Let's go." Diasol says.
But then, the unbelievable thing happens!
Xynnia pushes Zygarde away! Then she quickly runs back to Frostic and hugs him tightly!
"!" Everyone is shocked by Xynnia's reaction (include Arceus and LD).
"X…Xynnia?" Frostic says.
"Frostic… I… I will not leave you again…" Xynnia says.
"XYNNIA! COME BACK!" Zygarde says.
"Your highness!" Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf say.
"NO!" Xynnia says.
"XYNNIA! OBEY! MY ORDER! YOU ARE THE PRINCESS OF LUMINA! YOU MUST NOT BE SELFISH!" Zygarde roars.
"Your highness! Get away from that demon!" Uxie says.
"You are the Princess of Lumina!" Mesprit says.
"If you have gone, what will happen to everyone in the Lumina?! Without you, they will fall into the despair!" Azelf says.
"NOW COME BACK!" Zygarde says.
Although everyone thought that when Xynnia pushed her father away and rushed up to Frostic will be the most unexpected thing, but…
After hearing her father's word, Xynnia grabs her crown, look at it before smashing it into the floor!
Everyone is shocked by Xynnia's act. She throws away her crown, which is the sight of her role as the Princess of Lumina.
"You say that I am selfish and will never care for everyone in the Lumina! But you all had never cared of everyone! You escaped to the Sanctuary of Mortality when those demons attacked the Lumina! If you think that the path that I choose is wrong, then I will abandon my old path!" Xynnia says and hugs Frostic tightly.
Everyone looks at Xynnia. Somehow… Before the demon attack the Lumina, Xynnia is very soft, graceful and obedient. But now… Xynnia is a princess with bold, brave and unwilling heart…
The crown that Xynnia threw away… Now it is placed in front of Diasol. Diasol picks that crown and looks at it…
"…Diasol…" Xynnia says.
"?!" Diasol looks at her sister.
"… I know that this is not the path that I should choose… But… I have no regret in choosing this path… From now on… Can I leave the Lumina to you?" Xynnia asks.
"I will! Sis!" Diasol says.
"And…Yterval…" Xynnia says.
"Yterval… I am sorry for all the problems that I caused… I am sorry…" Xynnia says.
"… Xynnia…" Yterval says.
"Father… I know that I dishonored you… But… I couldn't live in this life anymore… Please… Let me go…" Xynnia says.
"…" Zygarde says nothing.
"…Xynnia…" Frostic says.
"Frostic… I am sorry… for everything… I love you… And you love me… Although we tried to change it… But our destiny couldn't change… our love couldn't go on…" Xynnia says.
"…No… Xynnia… Over a millennium… Sleep well… I will wait… for that day… The day that we will be able to love each other…" Frostic says. His word makes Xynnia cries.
"Frostic oh…" Xynnia says.
Before Frostic and Xynnia could say anything more, Arceus steps up to them.
"… Frostic… I am sorry for everything that I had done to you… Especially my curse… With that… the love will never fully touch your heart… So…" Arceus says and then Frostic glows with a faint light, and after the light disappears… Frostic starts to cry!
"Frostic! Oh! Frostic! Your emotion finally come back!" Xynnia says.
"Xynnia, I will never let you go again, I promise." Frostic says and turns his attention to LD.
"LD, I despite you more than anything. From now on, we will have nothing relevant. I will not serve you more… And I need no bless from you…" Frostic says, and then something appears on his hand… It is the Triforce of Emotion…
"…The fake emotion that you gave me… I have no need for it… Take it back." Frostic says, and then the Triforce of Emotion flies back to LD.
"…" LD says nothing.
"…Frostic… But without the bless from LD… Your life will not last…" Xynnia says.
"That doesn't matter for me, Xynnia… From now one… I will never leave you… Even if my body is rotten away, leaving only the corpse and the walking bone of mine… But I will stay with you forever…" Frostic says.
"…Thank you, Frostic." Xynnia says.
"Xynnia… Let's go… to the place… that I will stay with you… for over a millennium…" Frostic says and opens a warp portal.
Frostic and Xynnia look at everyone for the last time, before they enter the warp portal, which close in a second later…
After Xynnia and Frostic leave, the Lumina Hall falls into a deep silence, before Zygarde breaks the silence.
"LD! All of this is your fault!" Zygarde roars.
"What did I do?" LD asks.
"Your corpse stole Xynnia from the Afterlife! It is all your fault!" Zygarde says.
"You are evil!" Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf say.
"Well… Such a word from the father who never care of his daughter and the minions who use their master as their puppet…" LD says. His word silence Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf, but it still couldn't silent Zygarde.
"I asked you to help me to reunion the friendship between the Lumina and the Darkon! What look what you had done!" Zygarde says. His word shocked everyone, especially Diasol and Yterval.
"Father?! You did?!" Diasol asks.
"Of course! I want the Lumina and Darkon to reaffirm their friendship, so I asked LD to help me, but…" Zygarde says.
"It is your fault for asking me, not my fault." LD says.
"!" Zygarde becomes silence.
"Anyway, LD! YOU STILL HAVE A TON OF SIN THAT YOU HAD DONE!" Arceus asks.
"What sin that I had done?" LD asks.
"You tried to destroy and kill…" Arceus says, but LD interrupts him.
"Sorry, Arceus, please be quiet. I was asking Link his friends, not asking you." LD says. His word makes Arceus becomes very angry.
"You tried to kill everyone in Irtha!" Rucas says.
"I forgot to tell you that Irtha didn't truly exist…" LD says. His word shocked everyone.
"What?!" Everyone says.
"Irtha is just the ideal world that I created out of boredom. And then, after Zygarde asked me to help him reaffirm Lumina and Darkon, I decided to write my own legend… And you are the characters in my legend…" LD says.
"The legend that you will kill everyone?!" Ordin asks, but LD shakes his head no.
"Have you ever see the legend that ends with the victory of the antagonist? Nah… Boring… In my legend, you will defeat me and stop my ritual…" LD says.
"…" Everyone says nothing.
"Don't worry about everything and everyone in Irtha. They do not truly exist… The only characters in my legend that does exist is my minions, the characters from the Kingdom of the Dragonking and the Afterlife, Link's group, Zelda and Iris. But for Zelda and Iris, I just created an illusion of them. Both of them are truly exist, but they didn't appear in my legend." LD explains.
"Then… The demons that attacked the Afterlife…" Diasol says.
"That is the part of my legend… Now they are gone for good…" LD says.
"And we…" Rucas says.
"Diasol, Yterval and Xynnia come from the Afterlife… Anna and King Baron come from the Kingdom of the Dragonking… Link and Navi… I took you from the era that both of you exist… For Jedi, Ordin, Nardal, Ellisk, Terrus, Soryl, Maxnet and Glacia… I took some souls from the Afterlife…" LD says.
"What about me?!" Rucas asks.
"Sorry! I forgot!" LD says with a crafty voice.
"What?!" Rucas says.
"If you want to know, find it by yourself…" LD says.
"…" Rucas says nothing.
"So… Anna and King Baron… I froze your kingdom in order to complete the legend… And now it is complete… So your kingdom should return to normal now…" LD says.
"…LD…" Anna and King Baron says.
"So… Do I have any guilt left?" LD asks.
"Yes… You stole three Triforce of our world…" Arceus says.
"Oh! I forgot about them! I just 'borrow' them without asking you… And now… The legend is finally complete…" LD says.
"Then I will have no need for it." King Baron says and gives the Triforce of Knowledge back to LD.
"Me too…" Rucas says and about to give his Triforce of Willpower back to LD when LD shakes his head no.
"No, Rucas. Keep it… You are the rightful owner of that Triforce… I didn't choose you to be its owner, it chooses you." LD says.
"!" Rucas looks at his Triforce mark. He is the chooser to be the holder of the Triforce of Willpower?!
"LD! You still have one guilt left! You pushed Xynnia into the River of Sin!" Diasol says.
"Yeah, so what?" LD asks.
"The fault is yours!" Yterval says.
"No, the guilt is Frostic's, not mine. He was my most trusted minion, but Xynnia weakened the loyality that he had to me… In order to maintain his loyal to me, I had to stop her by pushing her into that river. But the result is not the thing that I expect… The love between Frostic and Xynnia is the only thing that I didn't expect to happen in my legend." LD says. His word shocks everyone.
"What?!" Everyone says.
"Of course, without my legend, Anna will not be able to free from the love with Baron and gets King Baron as her true lover, Diasol and Yterval will never fall in love into each other, etc." LD says.
"But your crime is still unforgivable!" Everyone except Link, Zygarde, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf and Arceus says.
LD turns his attention to everyone. But… his crafty smile that he always has on his face disappears. The thing that appears instead is the blank face.
"No matter what you say, remember this, this world is not perfect. It contains of the good and the bad and this will never change no matter what. Some parts of this world are good while some parts of this world have to sacrifice themselves to be bad in order to maintain this balance. I sacrificed myself to be bad in order to make this world still exist…" LD says with a blank face. Hearing his word silent everyone in the Lumina Hall, even Arceus.
"So… If you have nothing to say more, I will send you back to your original place. The key to send you back is the Mirror of Nightmare, which link the real world and the ideal world. Now you have seven pieces of them… So…" LD says.
After LD finishes his saying, the door of the Lumina Hall opens again, but this time, a human bard walks into the Lumina Hall. He is the same bard that Link and his friends met during their journey!
"You…" Navi says.
"… Your story will end here… This is almost the last part of it… In order to complete this legend, I am destined to give you this…" The bard says and gives the eighth piece of the Mirror of Nightmare to Link.
"…" Link receives the eighth piece of the Mirror of Nightmare from the mysterious bard.
"Now I have fulfill my role of assisting you in this legend. I shall make my leave now…" The bard says and about to leave the Lumina Hall when King Baron calls him.
"Human, I still have a question… Who are you?" King Baron asks.
"… I am just a simple bard…" The bard says.
"No… I want to know your true face, not the mask that you are wearing…" King Baron says.
"… I am the one who creates everything in all the legend… All the legend will not exist without me…" The bard says before he walks out of the Lumina Hall.
Link holds all pieces of the Mirror of Nightmare in his hand. He rises and joins them together… Creating the complete Mirror of Nightmare.
"Leap into this mirror, it will take you back to your true place of existence…" LD says.
"…" Everyone still hesitant.
"Don't worry, this is the last part of this legend…" LD says.
"Then… It is the time for us to say farewell…" Diasol and Yterval says.
"Farewell everyone… Maybe the fate will bring us together again…" Rucas says.
"Farewell… We will not forget everything about you…" Everyone says, and then Lin, Navi, Jedi, Ordin, Nardal, Ellisk, Glacia, Terrus, Soryl, Maxnet, Anna and King Baron jump into the Mirror of Nightmare…
"…Thank you… Everyone…" Diasol and Yterval says.
