And Pluto is annoyed a bit at the changing future but its not so far out of the realm of what's going to happen that she has to do anything about it…I hope that made sense.

NeoPrincessRini: thank you.

Wow…only 3 reviews…well thank you to those that did. So I'll let you know there's some major drama happening in this ch/ep. Be warned!

Sailor Moo S 'Rise of the Messiah' Ch/ep. 40

The pale warmth of early morning light greeted Mamoru. He groaned and sluggishly began to wake. At first it was the stiff ache of his neck he noticed, then the slight weight of a sleeping body sprawled over his chest. With a rueful chuckle he slowly opened his eyes, finding Usagi fast asleep between his legs. They had fallen into a dead sleep on the couch the night before watching a movie.

He was in just a pair of loose sleep pants, while his girl was one of his white t-shirts. Her preferred pajama's when they were just lumping around the apartment. She was cutest thing in the mornings, her cheeks always so rosy from their shared heat. Her waterfall of golden blonde hair always a bit frizzy, a fly away mess of static cling thanks to their intimate snuggling that occurred last night.

Mamoru carefully got up, disentangling himself slowly. He listened carefully to her slurred moans of discontent at being jostled. She was after all a deep sleeper and it was hard to wake her normally, so adjusting a comatose Usagi from his lap was child splay. Once he managed to carefully put Usagi back down on the couch, he got up to make breakfast. Stretching out the kinks in his back and legs as he moved stiffly towards the kitchen.

Preparing a Tamagoyaki, rolled omelet with bacon and cheese he knew the delicious smells would wake her up in a matter of minutes. He smiled happily at how things were going. He loved this. Just the simplicity of waking up to her every morning, living with her was joyous. He couldn't imagine a better future or someone else to share it with. She was the literal translation to a picture perfect life. It was sad that her family missed her and that she missed them, but he was glad that she was firm in her resolve to not let her father pressure her back home.

He was tempted to try and invite her mother and Shingo over that way they could catch up on what was going on in each other's lives but wasn't sure if Ikuko would take it as a 'I know your daughter won't be coming back so I'm throwing it in your face' thing or rather 'I know you miss your daughter and don't want the strain in the relationship to extend any further'. He sighed and knew what he had to do. Going to his phone he called the Tsukino household up hoping that he'd get Ikuko or Shingo.

"Moshi, Moshi." her father answered. His head fell. Of course, as it was always his luck with Kenji. He had to get him instead. He sighed internally then greeted, "Moshi, may I speak to Ikuko - san?" he heard nothing for a moment before Kenji spoke up, "Mamoru - san? Why are you calling here? You already have my little girl what more could you want? Money is that it? You need money to get her things? I knew you wouldn't be abl - "Mamoru had had enough of the man's belittling.

"For the love of Kami sir! Enough! I'm calling to speak with your wife about Usako. I know you're not happy with the situation right now but it's your own fault." he was a little to perturbed to be caring about how upset her father was. He'd taken enough verbal abuse from the man and refused to keep taking it. After all even he had his limits on what he would handle. He wouldn't be the man's verbal punching bag just because his ego and whatever else was being bruised. He'd just have to deal with it.

"Is everything okay with her?" her father asked, concern in his voice, "Hai, if that were the case I'd have told you off the bat." her father seemed to calm down, "May I - " Mamoru started, "Once you tell me I'll think about telling her." Mamoru rolled his eyes at the pompous attitude her father was displaying over the phone. "I'm thinking of inviting her and Shingo and if you'd be willing enough to invite you as well over the apartment for dinner tonight." the line almost felt like it went dead.

He had even been tempted to ask if her father was still there. "Sir?" Mamoru asked. "Until Usagi - chan is HOME, here HOME, as in where she belongs…" Kenji ranted. Mamoru clenched his hands… "I don't think it would be a wise idea." He sighed. Mamoru gripped the phone so tight now that it threatened to crack in his grip, "We MIGHT come by tonight." He finished after a long pause. Mamoru rolled his eyes.

Not that her father could see him…thankfully, "Depends if I feel like taking my wife and child to such a place." the attitude had Mamoru at his wits end, "IF you do decide to come over to OUR home, we would happily accommodate you and your family." he tried to keep the strain of anger from his voice. "We both hope to see you at dinner tonight. We'll be waiting."

He hung up the phone before her father could insult him any further. The man would love to see him crack but he refused…in his presence. Walking back to the kitchen the Tamagoyaki was done and his Usagi was waking up, her nose perked up in the air like a blood hound. "Bacon and cheese omelet!" she chirped with sleep grog in her voice. Getting up from the couch she walked to the counter and sat on the bar stool, "Yup." he answered, her chipper voice made him feel better already from her father's rude behavior.

"We need to go shopping for food this week though. There's a sale at the Jusco mall on meat." she nodded her head then added on, "We also need to pick up some feminine essentials for me." she shyly told him. He looked to her, "Like...?" she blushed, "That time of the month...we need to go shopping so I don't stain things..." even after all their time together she still felt a little shy on certain things. Namely her period. He was clueless. "We already stain things." he stated confused with a glance around to the different things they had christened.

Her head thumped, "My period!" then she clamped her hand over her mouth as if she just said something horrible to him. His face was in slight shock before understanding, "Hai, we should go to the store then, come on." he had to admit he had been a little stunned and embarrassed for her. Monthly things were natural but they had yet to experience one together. This would be interesting experience for them both to say the least.

Figuring to tell her on the way there about her families possible coming over he then debated on it since her father could be trying to set them up. Would he be so cruel as to say he would but then not? Maybe to him but not to his daughter, "Usako." he got her attention as they left the apartment and into the elevator. "Hai?" she answered. Once more dressed in a pair of tights, this time royal blue with the jean skirt on and a white pearl knit sweater over the ensemble. "How about we make extra for food tonight, we might have company." he eased into it.

"Who?" she asked, he bit his lip, "Possibly your parents and Shingo. I spoke to your father on the phone and after a colorful and enlightening conversation he said their THINKING of coming over for dinner tonight." He admitted in a rush. She looked hopeful yet worried. "It'll be okay Usako, no matter what we're in this together. I promise." He encouraged, reaching out for her hand. She looked out the living room window briefly. "Sometimes I wonder what it is about me you love so much to put up with papa." She sighed.

He looked to her, "Parental drama's or not you mean everything to me. I won't let that go even to avoid an overbearing father." He smirked, she hugged him tight with a giggle as he embraced her back within his arms.

(It was far to cold to shop at the Shotengai, street markets in Juban. So we had planned to go the Supermarket this time.)

Driving there they parked in the lot in front of the large mall. A trendy box store, of plain grey cement bricks and modern concentric moldings. The pink neon sign of Jusco was still glow faintly in the dim morning light.

Usagi hopped out the red sports car, dressed warmly in her black pea coat, with a pink scarf wrapped snuggly around her neck. She waited patiently for Mamoru to lock up, who was now dressing more appropriately in a black leather bomber jacket and driving gloves. Thanks to the fact that his housemate and lover now paid close attention to how he walked out of their home daily she nagged sweetly at him if he didn't dress warmly enough, to go find something more appropriate to put on.

He gingerly walked around the car and began guiding her down the parking lot. She held onto his arm adoringly as they made their way towards the glass and steel automatic doors. For but a moment he felt eyes on them. Looking about he found the eyes of glaring, a couple older ladies hovered around the glass bus shelter out front of the mall. Dressed in long brown wool coats, with huge acorn decaled buttons.

They reminded him of the old British ladies who adorned the fogging street corners in London with their dark hair tied up in large buns on top their heads, sprinkled with grey and keen disapproving eyes that seemed to catch every infraction of the young people around them. Who he figured thought it was improper to be affectionate in public.

Not caring he placed a hand approvingly over hers, were she gripped his bicep. Usagi griped his arm a little tighter, mindful of their disgusted looks, "Something wrong?" he asked politely, knowing full well he was taunting their snide opinions. "Isn't it unfair to be taking advantage of the young Tsukino girl. She should be at home with her parents." The shorter of the two responded dryly.

Now he was startled. Usagi looked over, to her in surprise not recognizing the lady at all, right away. "We've noticed her absence from the house for the last week or so. Not proper for a young girl to stay at a boy's house." The taller added, sniffing loudly and thrusting her nose in the air with a haughty attitude.

"They your neighbors? He asked Usagi quietly.

(Hai, nosey ones to. Mrs. Fujishima, Miyaka and her twin sister Yui. Both eccentric old spinster's neither one of them have been married. They have lived together just down the block.)

"Considering I plan to one day marry her I think that's hardly an issue." he stated as if it were obvious. The one lady, with her hair in a net tight as a baseball rolled her eyes while the other laughed, "You plan to marry her? PUPPY love is so blinding. When you two figure out how it really is though, then you'll be seeing things Kenji's - san's way." She stated with obvious distaste. He narrowed his eyes, "And when she graduates and we marry then what will you say?" he asked.

"You actually think it'll happen..." The shorter elderly women looked to him, in mild surprise only to then act as if he were ignorant to the issue. "Honey...I hate to break it to you but I've watched this girl grow up..." Yui, the taller of the two responded. Giving Usagi a cold, reproachful look. He held Usagi hand tighter, his death grip grinding her finger's together. She winched but said nothing.

"She's too sweet and innocent for a man of your mature tastes." Her smaller sister, Miyaka added. Both he and Usagi laughed at the insinuation before Usagi finally spoke up, "Arigato for the warning but we'll take our chances." they walked into the grocery with two gawking old ladies watching them.

The grocery store was brightly lit and the aisle gleaming with all manner of items they might need. The overly staged atmosphere was a far cry from the quaint setup of the vendor's out in the market. With flashy signs over the produce bins and brand poster's plastered along every wall. It was a glaring, almost tacky landscape after shopping at the markets for so long during the warmer months.

"Kami what was that about? Strange." Usagi muttered, "Okay I'll get my things, you start on the dinner, I'm thinking hamburger steak with a fried egg. Its papa's favorite." she winked as if it would solve everything. It was that innocence that he loved about her. Even though they both knew the odds of it working.

Twenty minutes later Mamoru had all the dinner items needed for the meal for them all but Usagi still wasn't around him. Searching for her, he finally saw her debating between two boxes in the pharmaceutical aisle. He braved the aisle, swallowing hard and wondering gamely how inappropriate this could be. She seemed to be ignoring him, weighing the options. "Usako...?" he asked nervously.

"Hai...which one do you think?" she asked with a giggle, holding up two boxes innocently for his inspection. One was medium sized pack of pads and the other was a 'new' type of medium with wings. He would have given anything to NOT have to do this but knew that as her boyfriend he was obligated to assist her when asked.

"Wings?" he read in confusion on the packaging, having an odd sort of vision of the plastic napkin flying away into a clear blue sky.

Man did he wished he was bird right now. He would just fly away from the embarrassment of it all. His face was becoming red and he could feel the beginnings of sweat trickling down the back of his neck.

Glancing cautiously about, to unfortunately find other guys starting to notice him. He cringed as a few snickered while a few others gave him sympathetic looks. They could appreciate the torture his girlfriend was putting him through. The bleak look in his eyes spoke how uncomfortable he was. The nervous darting of his gaze back and forth from one side of the aisle to the other only illustrated his need to retreat...perhaps finding a nice large rock to crawl under for a little bit.

His palms began to sweat but he stayed focused and tried hard to avoid looking ready to run for the hills. It was just pads. He knew this would be a common thing so it was just a matter of getting over it. Over time that is. It would hopefully get easier. "That's what I was thinking to..." She responded, with a happy smile. Putting the other one away she threw the box into the cart with ease. "Let's go." he shot out of the aisle in seconds as if he was rocket propelled.

Usagi laughed knowing it must have been a little embarrassing. But he needed a little reminder that patience is and always would be a virtue. Besides he had asked for it, coming down the aisle to hover behind her like that. Buying these sort of things was sorta personal.

They headed to the checking out counter with the week's worth of groceries including the night's dinner, their eyes were drawn to the magazine rack near the customer service desk at the front of the store. A couple of guys from her school, known delinquents. With bleached blonde and silver hair, spiked or tied back in a long pony tail. Dressed in long black duster's sporting kanji tags along the arms with baggy jeans that hung low, showing off the elastic bands of their boxers, an unnecessary display.

Their lanky torso's sheathed in oversized t-shirts that had American icon's ironed on. They enjoyed spreading rumors and discord through the halls, as well has fighting with other high school gangs around Juban. Busy looking through a few less then modest magazines, laughing and making crude comments. Usagi hid behind Mamoru knowing if they saw her the gossip of her seeing an upper classman would sky rocket. He knew it wasn't out of embarrassment but out of trying to avoid gossip being spread about her.

She needed to focus on school at school, not the cannon fodder gossip that would delay or prevent her from studying. He could only imagine her getting hassled or worse, someone telling the student body that she was seeing an upper-class man. Then her parents could get called in, Kenji would hear it from the school of the inappropriateness of it then. For Usagi - it was too much. It was just better if Usagi pretended she wasn't there. "Think I should go wait in the car?" she asked. He looked over and saw them coming towards the checkout counter.

"I don't want you to but right now, to avoid any problems...hai...I'll pay go ahead. You can help load the car." he suggested. Running out she maneuvered around the school boys evading them with ease thanks to her time as Sailor Moon. However now he was stuck at the checkout with pads and feminine products. "Great...just great." he muttered. The checkout lady said nothing but the nosey boys did, "Dude pads? You getting them for your girlfriend?" they snickered. He turned his head to them, "Hai." oh hell, I might as well...

Deciding to be proud of the them and before Usagi could retort back mentally he spoke back to them, "Hai, and you know what its cause our bond is so deep, and our love is so strong, that getting this stuff..." he picked it up," Is something I'll gladly do for her when she's in pain from cramps. Question is when you screwballs get girlfriends will you be BRAVE enough to do a man's job for her?" they shut the hell up fast. Well most of them did, "I do have a girlfriend, ass!" The spiking bleached blonde shouted.

"And let me guess either you do the same thing or you wuss out because your too scared like your friend here." Mamoru shot back.

His mouth dropped opened but no words came out. Mamoru knew the truth of it at the end of the day. The former or the latter, "I guarantee you doing simple stuff like this..." he wiggled it around before handing it to the cashier, "Earns you brownie points later on." He smiled having made the boys look like fools in front of the people they were trying to make him look foolish in front of.

Leaving out he got to the car and saw Usagi leaning against the car waiting for him. Seeing the look of love and determination on his face she asked, "What happened in there? You didn't leave the 'ears' of your conversation open so I couldn't hear anything." Realizing that he responded, "Couple of the school boys were trying to make trouble. I put them in their place." he felt a bit macho over it.

"You're so sweet." She smiled sweetly, helping him load the groceries into the back seat. They bolted out of the lot and drove back to the apartment in silence. It was on the way back up the elevator full of the foods and goods that Usagi felt like getting a bit wicked. However seeing all the groceries she declined the need as she didn't want to step on anything and ruin it. She'd wait till once the groceries were put away.

Once back at home they left only the hamburger steaks in the sink to defrost. She then decided to make up some hot coco. There had been a wet chill in the air and it had crept deep inside her bones today. She was still shivering.

Tearing two instant packets and dusting them into two mugs of tepid water from the tap. She slipped them into the microwave and set the time. Humming eagerly for the comforting warmth of the chocolate.

It was only two in the afternoon. Their shopping trip and driving about having taken away the morning and a good portion of the afternoon.

"That gives me an idea..." he remarked, striding into the kitchen with approving smile, noticing her preparing the hot chocolate. She glanced up to him curiously, as he came up and wrapped his arms around her waist, "Pouring warm chocolate over this wonderful, sexy, gorgeous, temptress body of yours...then devour you." He whispered heavily into her ear. His hot breath mixed with the husky lilt to his tone had her breath hitch, and heart speed up as his hands slowly slid down her jean skirt with clear intent.

The material in his way he began unbuttoning them one pop at a time. She leaned back into his arms at his slow seduction. When one hand went up to touch her breast through her shirt the microwave dinged as the instant hot chocolate was done. Its noise so loud in the otherwise quiet atmosphere that it startled her, making her jump. Mamoru laughed before keeping her close but loosening his embrace enough to allow her to get the coco.

His hands roaming her body, finally settling on her bum for a few minutes, squeezing it rhythmically before shifting and settling on her hips. Molding his body into her backside she felt his growing erection poking out at her. "I can never get enough of you." he whispered right next to her ear. "Nor I of you." she replied then spun around," Now drink while it's nice and warm." He grin ruefully, unable to refuse chocolate.

He reluctantly detached from her and took the cup. He enjoyed the flavor as it hit his tongue. So sweet and creamy it was like heaven in a cup. Following Usagi out on the balcony, the cold, damp clear air of Autumn mixed with the soothing warmth of his drink offered a unique sort of comfort. He eased himself against the cement corner pillar of his balcony railing, leaning his back into the barrier with an absolute trust that it could support him.

Coaxing her into his arms with a wry grin and beckoning wave of his free hand she giggled and eagerly moved against him. Facing one another, he held her in his arms once more as they enjoyed the ambiance of the moments.

Settled with her in front of him, her back now pressed up against him. She felt the warmth radiate from him his body to hers, "I love this...I love this world..." he agreed. It looked so peaceful right now. No one would know the battles that raged on in front of and behind the public eye. "I'm glad we fight tooth and nail for this world, it's too beautiful not to." Usagi told him, taking a slow, cautious sip from her ceramic mug.

"Hai, earths lucky to have such a beautiful heroic young woman defending it daily. You fight so hard with the other senshi to protect this planet, I feel proud knowing that I'm your shield in protecting you." he said with pride clear in his voice.

Drinking her coco she sent her thoughts of love to him and snuggled in deeper into his chest. Ten minutes later they had to admit that they needed to get the apartment prepped if her father would be bringing the family over. "I'll go and make sure nothing is out that could be taken the wrong way or used against us." Usagi walked inside. He nodded as he started to tidy the living room area up. Wanting to make sure things looked nice and lived in but not trashed. Not that it did look trashed but these were Usagi's parents. A speck of dust found by Ikuko might be what did them in.

It was four o'clock when the place was ready, both Usagi and Mamoru were dressed up but not overly dressed up and cooking dinner together. Usagi had donned a pleated grey skirt and more conservative pearl white blouse, with an apron tied securing at the front while working in the kitchen. Mamoru had on pair of black dress pants and his white dress shirt sleeves rolled up while cooking the last of the steaks up. Having already spiced the meat and prepped the side dishes. It was 4:15 on the dot when the door bell rang.

Mamoru noticed but Usagi was the one who braved the storm about to enter. Opening the door her mother paid no mind to her husband, needlessly standing firm out in the hall. Charging through the door and enveloping her daughter in her arms. "My, my look at you. So beautiful tonight." Ikuko happen to love her daughters more mature tastes in clothing lately. Usagi couldn't help but appraise her mother as well.

She looked tired, perhaps a little to thin. Masking her hardships with a bright smile and a positive attitude. Dressed her best in a black and white floral print sundress, with a wide white bow. Her long fall coat draped over and arm.

"Yeah the klutzoid is actually nice looking." Shingo remarked, a smug smile on his face for his sister. He was least dressed up in jeans and a long sleeve jersey. His tan wool pea coat flung over a shoulder, gripped in a non-nonchalant manner with one hand.

"I missed you to." Usagi told him snidely. "Come on in." she invited with a beaming smile. Her father stood in the hall, his jaw working. He was swallowing his pride tonight and it had a very bitter taste. Dressed in tan slack and a white dress shirt and matching jacket. He looked more ready to go to work then for a casual dinner. He had perhaps never even taken his work clothes off. He slowly, but stiffly entered the apartment not looking a Usagi at all. Usagi sighed, and bore with it. Her father was a stubborn soul.

Showing them where to put their jackets she escorted them into the living room.

"Where's Chibi Usa?" Usagi asked. "She's over at a friend's house tonight. Their working on a project together. So we figured since we had a nice invite here that we'd come over and see how things were. Get to know Mamoru – san a little bit better and how he lives." Ikuku stated sweetly. Usagi ignored the way her mother stated the last part, like she wouldn't be here long enough to know the feeling of living as he did.

Her father took a long look around the apartment this time, his first visit had been brief and so stressful he had bothered to really take stock of Mamoru's home. He began to see all the little nuances of his daughters around the place.

She had truly made a home for herself here with this boy. It made his stomach churn with resentful feelings towards it. She was growing up far to fast for his liking and he blamed Mamoru for it.

Before Kenji knew it, four mugs of fresh hot chocolate were placed in front of his family as they sat around the low table just before the kitchen island. Mamoru had set the coffee table up as a dinning area for the family. Usagi finished setting out the refreshments and sat down by Mamoru on the far side of the table. A quiet show of loyalty and support that did not go unnoticed by Kenji. She had started her life with this man, acting very much like his wife in how she was taking charge as hostess for her family here in their place.

"I know it's getting a little chilly outside." Mamoru explained. Her father had taken the hot beverage, but didn't take a sip even as Ikuko and Shingo drank theirs with happiness. "So how's school?" Her mother asked. "Good. The counsellor that comes in to make sure I know my materials said everything looks fine." Usagi answered with a polite smile.

She had been prepared for her parent's inquiry into her schooling and had her school satchel tucked just under the table. Wanting to illustrate that she had become a responsible and independent person over the last half year.

She reached into her school satchel and showed them several recent scores of tests that she had taken, "These were the subjects that we went over." Handing them to Ikuko she saw her mother's pride. "All this time of 30% test scores and now my daughter gives me a 90% test score." Ikuko was proud of her daughter, beaming with her blue sparkling back at Usagi. Even Shingo looked astonished by the grades and really couldn't say to much.

Ikuko looked happy, "I know you're a smart girl. You just needed to apply yourself." Usagi smiled with pride herself, "Mamo – chan helped me a lot. He gave me a new way of studying for the exams that made it easier to memorize and understand the materials I was given." She looked to the kitchen where Mamoru had retreated to as he had wanted to give her some alone time with her family.

He busy tidying up and prepping the various dishes they had cooked. "So are we getting a tour of the place?" Shingo asked. Usagi and Mamoru had talked about it before and he gave her an understanding that showing them herself would be a good thing. It would showcase the fact that this was now their place.

"Sure, come on." All four got up as Usagi gave them the tour, "This is the kitchen…" She inclined with a curt wave, Mamoru waved his hand to them. Ikuko and Shingo smiled while Kenji frowned. She showed them the small alcove beside the kitchen that housed the washer and dryer set.

"Let's go down the hallway." She showed them the bathroom before resigned to show them the bedroom. It was that room she feared their reaction the most. She knew that they understood she was leading a maiden's life her with Mamoru. That they had an adult relationship and slept together in the same bed.

Ikuko walked inside with her father as Shingo stayed at the doorway with her. Usagi had made sure to wash the linens beforehand and to pick up a bit before spraying the room with air freshener so that it would destroy any lingering scents of recent love making in the room. She just couldn't fathom them smelling that. "I love the ambiance in here. It just feels loved and lived in." Her mother smiled.

Taking in the huge window set beside the bed and the side balcony that could be seen through a private glass door. To which one could clearly see the twilight landscape of Azabu. The bedroom wasn't anything fancy, but in was cozy. With a double bed and iron head board, side table and matching dresser littered with their various vanity needs. The walls painted a modest tan with a large closet, the slated doors currently closed. A loving picture of them anointed the side table, that had drawn Ikuko unconsciously.

She lightly picked up the frame, a fond smile gracing her features as she looked at the photo of the two. Usagi smiled knowingly at her mother's sweet reaction to the photo. She understood the best how deeply she loved Mamoru.

Her father glared at the bed while briefly touching the dresser. Usagi bit her lip from saying anything about what and what not to touch. She didn't need her father to know how adventurous her and Mamoru's sex life was. She would be humiliated and no doubt scolded. It was Shingo who was deciding to peak in through the drawers and found the giant supply of condoms Mamoru had purchased weeks ago.

"Wow!" he stated in amazement. She quickly darted across the room and shut the drawer from her father seeing the contents. Seeing his sister's reaction Shingo got the idea and helped to cover it up, "Nice watch collection." Even Usagi was tempted to give him a 'that's your excuse?' face before Mamoru came in and announced, "Dinner is ready." Leaving out she felt her heart calm down a bit. Being in the bedroom was a little bit to much for her.

Setting up the table Mamoru had pulled out for having such occasions, he made it up nicely with red roses in the center. The dinner was eaten in silence till Kenji spoke up, "Its seems you have a nice place Mamoru – kun." He nodded, "Arigato." He was having a bit of hope that this was progress being made.

A simple portrait of Mamoru with his parents that caught Kenji's eyes. It was nestled upon his computer desk in the corner. "I see you try and keep your parents memory very fresh." He stated, Mamoru nodded.

"Hai, it's the only one I have left. The rest was lost when they passed. It seems that when the accident happened the will and executor of the state only felt that the valuable pieces in the house were worth retaining. The pictures and personal effects were dismissed and tossed when the house was sold. It was only due to the lawyer of the estate of their wills that I was even found as an adult."

He held his voice strong, "Once I hit 18 I was legally able to take over and that's when I discovered who I was, family wise. That I had had one." Mamoru confessed to the man, matter of factly. Speaking of his parent's death wasn't as emotional as it used to be. Having come to accept they were gone and not truly remembering them made healing from it a bit easier. Kenji mulled it over.

"Thing is, is that both my parents were single children, their parents died years ago and they really didn't have much family left. It was only through the lawyer whom was a good friend of my parents that I even discovered the trust fund left to me. And until I hit the age of 21 I don't even get full access to my trust fund. I'm given checks to live off of during school and my part time jobs." He told Kenji.

Her father merely nodded in acceptance. "So how is your grade point average doing Mamoru – san? It can't be easy with Usagi here as a distraction." Usagi shot her father a warning look. He merely looked to Mamoru with expectancy.

"Doing well, I was even given the TA position in one of my classes." He stated proudly. Kenji looked curious, "I aid the professor during class." Mamoru explained, Kenji nodded, "And Usagi I see that your test scores are doing well." He looked to her. "Hai, the classes seem much easier now." She beamed. "I think it may have just been the way the teachers try to make the students learn." She explained.

"Oh mama, I've been learning how to cook better. Makoto – chan has been teaching me new recipes." Usagi added to her mother, "Yeah their pretty good to. I'm lucky enough to get to eat them." Mamoru smiled fondly, giving her hand a squeeze. Her father just mulled it all over, wishing that things weren't so good for them. He would lose any chance he had at all of convincing Usagi to come home.

He internally sighed. Perhaps he may as well give in. Everyone was for Mamoru and it was starting to seem like they were a respectable couple. Every direction it seemed he was being proven wrong on the matter.

He sighed, "So how has school been going?" he asked the man. Usagi smiled as it seemed this dinner might have broken through. "Mama why don't we do the dishes while papa and Mamo – chan talk?" Usagi suggested. Agreeing they left, dragging Shingo with them and as he watched both sets of people he wondered if this would truly work out. He was getting used not have Usagi around and seeing how happy she was here. He figured he would just deal this change in his life.

Mamoru and Kenji spoke for a few minutes on the couch, before he decided to go use the restroom. Excusing himself Kenji politely left.

Reaching the decently sized bathroom he saw his daughter's things in there as well. He sighed heavily once more. Leaving he saw no one paying him any mind. In a last ditch effort to make sure he hadn't been seeing things earlier, to make sure he wasn't loosing it from when Shingo opened the drawer, he slipped into their room and eyed it with suspicion. "If this is truly clean cut theni will admit to fault but if not…"

His barely uttered mutter wasn't heard. Smelling the clean fresh scent he wondered before going to the drawer that Shingo had been shocked at earlier as it had risen his suspicions. Opening it up to his utter horror he found the entire section of it covered with condom boxes. There had to have been nearly a dozen unopened boxes within.

Nearly having a heart attack at the amount he began to look at the room in horror as his worst nightmares of his precious daughter being taken be the dark haired man entered his mind. Many different intimates position's in many different places. He began to look at everything like their essence had touched it, which in this case nearly everything had. He was in utter horror looking about the room like it was on fire before near blinding rage consumed him.

Knowing he couldn't very well run out yelling and screaming like a mad man he got a tapper down on his emotions. He set a firm resolve. Usagi would be leaving here tonight with them, she wasn't ready for this...and god dammit neither was he!

He would accept nothing less. Putting on a face of indifference he wanted to hit Mamoru where he knew it would hurt, not the family jewels, no that would come later, no the money maker was where he wanted to hit the man. Going into the living room, Usagi was saying good bye to her mother in the entryway. She was dressed in her long coat, with Shingo standing beside her in his own brown fall pea coat.

He approached Mamoru cooly, as he put out a hand to shake Mamoru's hand with. Mamoru himself was taken off guard by the gesture and felt weary of it but still accepted it. It was the slight tightening that gave Mamoru warning, as the older man pulled him in close.

"Did you really think I would let you get away with it?" He hissed near his ear. Mamoru was utterly confused he didn't see the fist coming till to late. Nailing him square in the jaw Usagi was screaming at her father to stop as Mamoru reeled back holding his stunned jaw. Ikuko screeching at him that it was unnecessary and to apologize to Mamoru. He sent a dangerous glare to his wife that she was shocked by, "Usagi get your things you're coming HOME." Her father's voice was low and dangerous. She was shocked, "Papa what is wrong with you?" she demanded.

"I cannot accept this at all. Did you honestly think I wouldn't find your little trove of c –condoms!" her father sputtered. She went red in the face, "Papa!" she hadn't thought he'd go looking through their drawes. "I have had enough! He is out of your life! If I even hear his name again you will be punished for a month! I refuse to accept this!" her father's words got harder to bear and hear. Mamoru's hand tightened into fists, wanting to hit him back, wanting to fight for his girlfriend. This dinner had gone so horribly wrong so fast.

"Papa! You know what he means to me! You do this and I will choose him! I love you guys I do but I - " Usagi defended in panic, but her father cut her off, "GET your things. If you don't I will call the police on him for having a sexual relationship with a minor. You are still 15 young lady. He will be arrested for his crime!" Usagi's heart bottomed out as Mamoru went white in the face. Ikuko gasped in horror at her husband's threat while Shingo looked like he didn't even know his father anymore.

"You wouldn't." Usagi gasped. Feeling her world falling apart. Torn from her grasp in a whirlwind of tense emotions. "I would." He was angry enough and Mamoru saw it to. He felt his own world crashing around him. Her father would call the cops and forbid anything further between them. Both parties were spinning from the threat. It was the stunning slap that sparked a shocked outrage from Kenji towards Ikuko.

"How dare you threaten them like that!" she snapped, voice full of venom. He merely took the slap in stride, understand emotions were running high thanks to him. His cheek stung but cold flame still burning in his eyes.

"If they were meant to be like you both foolishly believe, they can wait till she's 18 at the earliest. And THAT in my opinion is still to young – but at least then she would be considered an adult and could legally be married." He snapped back. There was no spatula for her to hit him with this time. Though she was two seconds away from looking through Mamoru's kitchen to grab his.

"Get your things we are leaving!" Kenji snapped right back at his daughter. Not wanting Mamoru to get the cops called on him. She took a step forward. "Usako…?" Mamoru asked, wondering if she was giving up.

He felt his heart ready to give out. "Usako don't leave. I'll take my chances with the cops but don't let this get in the way of us." He pleaded. But she walked to the door. However it wasn't making any sense, she didn't grab anything in her path.

It was her opening the door that alerted everyone to what she was doing, "Papa, mama, Shingo, I love you all but this is where I belong now. I have a little over six months until I'm sixteen. I hope you can understand and accept my decision. With the man I intend to one day marry as he has expressed this to me in more ways than one." To that Ikuko and Usagi looked to a still upset father where he stood.

"You'd be willing to deal with the cops over here? Once they find out of the inappropriate conduct happening, it's over Usagi. You will be sent home and he will go to jail." Her father told her coldly. "If that's all the time we have left then I'll cherish it as if it's all the time we have in the world. I love him that much. I refuse to give him up for anything." Her words made her mother cry and made her father so much more angry.

"You choose this path and he goes to jail you will be back at home with more strict rules. You've become a delinquent don't think you're going to skirt by." Her father told her. She only smiled, politely "As long as I get those few precious extra moments I don't care." Mamoru looked at her with absolute love and adoration. But also fear, as he knew once again she was giving up everything for him. He couldn't help but feel guilty at his selfish desires to keep her tied to him for the rest of their lives.

"Besides once those rules are in place, after you have taken away the man I love. I won't be Usagi anymore, just a shell going through life. My grades will suffer again because my teacher's aid will be gone, my cooking will suffer because I won't know if I'm spicing it to much, and mostly our relationship will be done with. If that is what you want, if destroying our love would make you happy. I can't stop you." She told him firmly, seeing the expressions on her father's face shift and turn somber.

As if trying to come up with a way to have his way. "Besides even if you start marriage interviews in a year as I have no doubts that you would try to do so, what respectable man would want someone whose broken inside and who's heart will always belong to someone else? Not to mention you did state so yourself that I was 'tainted'." Usagi threw back at him, crossing her arms over her chest smartly. Mamoru for his part was so proud of her standing up to him. He felt so loved and supported by her in that moment.

"So go ahead, I'd rather spend my last moments of happiness with him."

Her words were fierce and final. Her father looked ready to explode in rage but she held her ground. He stormed out without further words, Ikuko trailing behind him as did Shingo. Both felt bad for her. Once they were gone and the door closed Mamoru caught Usagi as she collapsed and cried in his arms, "Oh Mamo – chan…gomen a sai but I couldn't give you up. Maybe I'm wrong for it but I love you to much." She explained breathlessly, calming down from her broken cries against him.

He held her crushingly against him, "I'll deal with whatever comes at us. Don't worry, Usako everything will be alright. If the police come I'd rather you be here with me for little longer, than to not be able to see you again. Your father was unreasonable and you had no choice." he sought to console her, to support her defiance of her father. Kenji seemed to be on the warpath again and promised to make things very difficult for them.

If he did press charges, then their relationship would come to a grinding halt. She would be sent home and her father would make it extremely difficult for her to see him again. Of course she could just move out when she turned sixteen but it would also severe the relationship with her father that much further.

He was starting to regret their rush to live together. It had been an act of passion, and perhaps self-consciously he had spurned it on because of his need to lay claim to her. The last few months, with the nightmare's and his stupidity at breaking up with her. Her abduction by Diamond and his own jealously over how well they seemed to get along.

Hell Diamond's own words over how they got along and how he would still seek to lay claim to her when he felt he was a better man for her. He knew the white haired man already felt more confident in their buddying relationship compared to how Mamoru and hers began. His may have been based on laying claim to her but his started out through friendship first. He had been right and Mamoru hated it. His worries that he might lose her forever...it had all snowballed into this wretched situation.

Outside Usagi's mother was in her own haze of anger. Refusing to speak to him throughout the entire tense elevator ride. While Shingo was stunned by the turn of events, standing aloof near the doors lost in his own thoughts. It was when he left out with them and reached the car that he finally spoke, "Are you gonna do the same thing when I decide to be with a woman dad?" he asked bitterly. His dad turned his face to him, "Shingo this is not the time nor the place." Kenji stated with anger.

Shingo didn't get in the car in fact he began to walk. "Where are you going?" Kenji demanded, "To a friend's house. I need to be away from this. You've changed papa." Kenji didn't like that, he and his son had a good relationship yet with Usagi's choices lately and Shingo's need to get him to accept it had become slightly strained as well.

"You used to be this calm, cool, collected father that when he saw something good he accepted it. Yet when it comes to Usagi finding someone that she loves with all her heart you see it as a negative. Anyone with a set of eyes can see how much better she's doing being with him. At this point what does it matter that she's only fifteen?" Shingo told him, finding more courage with his anger to defend his sister.

"Yet you can't see past your own pride. Who gives a rat's ass if she is having sex with him? If he's the only guy she's ever with, if they get married in a year how's that a bad thing?" Shingo shot back. Ikuko was so upset that she didn't even correct Shingo for his language. "Mamoru – san didn't even strike you back any one else would have let their anger get the better of them after being punched. In THIER own home no less."

Shingo was no fool if it had been him he wasn't sure if he would have been able to hold back his temper if the girls he was with, if her father decked him in the same fashion, if he would have been able to hold back. He respected Mamoru more for doing so. "But he didn't. He STILL respected you enough to pull back." Shingo continued with superior air, appalled that he felt more mature then his own father right now.

If Ikuko wasn't so upset by her husband's actions and threat tonight she would have seen how much her son was standing up for his big sister. How the bond was still growing between the two siblings even without Usagi being there. "If that's not being a respectable man then I don't know what is." Shingo shoved his hands into his wide coat pockets and walked away as Kenji looked at him, fury in his eyes.

Ikuko sat in the car when Kenji was behind the wheel. He began driving and saw the ire on his wife's face. He grunted, "Let me guess you think I'm wrong to?" he near spat, "I think if you don't want the couch to be your new bed you're going to change your attitude and soon. Cause I'm done with you going back and forth. Every time she delivers good news and every time I get to catch up you have to go right back to the sex thing and blow up." She then shifted in her seat to look at him.

She then look at him and softened her expression. "Did you really think she would remain 'innocent' forever? That she would choose to be with that Di - san character? I know you liked the man but even I could tell she didn't look at him the way she does Mamoru – san. Though they both looked to her in the same loving manner." Ikuko admitted. Shifting back she sighed, "She's not a child anymore, nor has she been for years Kenji…and I will tell you one thing right now…" she shifted once again to face him. Her finger pointed at his face.

"IF you even DARE call the police on them, and ruin their relationship you will also ruin yours with hers, and ours…you really want that?" he looked to her as if stunned, "Ikuko…?" he asked in alarm then pulled over to the side of the road. Turning the car off he hit the steering wheel, "Why do you think so highly of that man? Why do you seriously think that at fifteen she's found her soul mate?" he looked to her in all seriousness.

"Because she has. And because HE reminds me a little bit of you. He's so fiercely protective of her, and loves her beyond anything. He could have lost her respect for him and hit you back but he didn't. You both are a lot a like in those areas." She admitted with a knowing smile. He frowned, not liking being compared to him, "Plus…" she smiled reproachfully, "I did see him by 'Whiteflash', you know where you got my ten year anniversary ring…" he knew of the place, high tastes, high costs but totally worth it after the night they had.

He couldn't help but flash to that night with his wife. It felt like their honeymoon again. Even if was only for the weekend, the kids were with her sister and it had been amazing. A sweet smile tugged on the corners of his mouth in remembrance of the romance they shared. "He was there?" he caught on, "Hai. When he left I spoke to the jeweler and after a brief explanation that he was my soon to be son in law he showed me the ring Mamoru – san had taken interest in." she looked to him with adoration.

"It was stunning. More than I think he can afford right now but the jeweler seemed quite confident he would see him again." Ikuko explained, her voice dreamy. Kenji felt more defeated right then and there. If Mamoru was truly already looking at rings then perhaps his threat wouldn't make a difference either way for the couple. "How much was it?" he asked. Hoping he could call Mamoru out for being cheap, "Its name is a Tacori full bloom Halo…it ran at 560,000 yen." Her words dead panned at the end as even his eyes bulged out.

"He'd never be able to afford that." He sputtered, "He plans to be a doctor…yes he can." Her voice definite. He deflated. "I'm out voted, outnumbered, no one cares that their having intercourse other than me…it's going to take me sometime till I can see them again, till I can see her again…but I won't call the cops on them." He admitted, in a sober if defeated tone. It was progress she thought. It had only been by sheer co-incidence that she'd spotted Mamoru at the jeweler's that day while Usagi was at her study session with the girls.

Her daughter had no clue that Mamoru was already shopping or at least 'window shopping' for a ring. She on the other hand saw it as a clear sign that he was committed and wanted to be with her and her with him forever. "Let's go home." Ikuko told him, patting his hand reassuringly. He started the car back up and drove off. The acceptance would take time, she just hoped it would be BEFORE her daughter graduated or BEFORE wedding announcements were sent out.

She wouldn't be able to bear it if she missed either event. Such joyous occasions were meant to be shared with family and loved ones. Not this way. She wanted Usagi to have a happy wedding and graduation.

Back with Usagi and Mamoru neither had felt in the mood to make love, only to hold one another and to never let go. Neither having changed they both just sat on the couch mindlessly watching something on t.v. not even paying attention to it. It was the insistent ring of the phone that got Usagi up, to pick up, "Moshi, moshi?" she answered sadly. "Usagi…" her mother responded, "Mama?" Usagi cried, Mamoru perked up to that.

They had both known what was on the others mind in regards to her father. To see if her mother had calmed him down enough to not press any charges or call the cops on Mamoru. "He won't call the cops but you also won't be seeing him for a while either. He needs time to deal with it all." It broke Usagi's heart.

"Hai, I understand…will he…do you think he'll ever accept Mamo – chan…?" she asked plaintively. "I think he will…just give it some time. In the meantime…why don't we set up little 'get-to-ether's' so we can still catch up?" her mother tried, "Hai, I would like that." Usagi agreed, her sad tone improving somewhat. "Your father is just so stubborn, but don't worry he won't do anything further." Ikuko explained. Usagi agreed knowing nothing right now was better than a call to the police.

"We'll set something up this week. Maybe after school. Just not tomorrow, the girls and I have somewhere important to be. Maybe this Friday? At the Fruits? I'm in well with the staff there, we can get milk shakes and burgers." Usagi suggested. "I would love that. See you soon." The mother and daughter duo ended the respective lines as Usagi went to go sit back with Mamoru and Ikuko went to take a long bath. The stress of the day and evening getting to her as Kenji felt like he was battling downhill.

He didn't like to admit that he was wrong, he preferred to have concrete proof yet when presented with, then he accepted it…normally. In regards to his daughter he still felt that he was right…but now he felt like at every turn he was being proven wrong. His daughter was his to protect, yet he'd seen Mamoru save her life. He'd seen the man defend her, love her, stand up for his love for her and respect the boundaries between her and her father, yet he couldn't get past that all this was happening at the tender age of fifteen for her.

Undoing his tie he fell to the couch. Ikuko hadn't made it yet for him but he would try for the bed first before assuming he was couched again. Could he accept the man? Could he let him into his family? Could he see him as a son in law? Would he see anyone as his son in law even? Would anyone be good enough for her? Half those questions had plagued him since the day she was born the other half since she started to date the man in question.

One thing was for certain though…the man wasn't going anywhere anytime soon and both of them were fighting hard for the right to be with one another. In his eyes he saw nothing but blunders and non-sense. He had a feeling this man would never let go or leave his daughter alone. But with the way she spoke, with such a firm calmness on her position to be with him. She would never forgive him if he came between them. At least at this point their relationship had a chance to be fixed, otherwise he'd lose his daughter…and he knew it.
