Hiya folks! Once gain I've been having problems with the internet, sorry sorry! It happens when you live in the Woods...
As Always, I own nothing else than Jennie and the plot.
Here's chapter twelve, have fun reading it
12 July 31 1992
Jennie was tired, had a headache and she had a cake to bake, a house to clean and a guy to break up with.
"Who said that life's easy?!"
"No one says life is easy miss. Life is horrible."
Jennie whipped around froze and groaned.
"Oh hello. You are a house elf if I'm not mistaken… what can I do for you?"
The little creature sniffled, then whined aloud; making Jennie's ears hurt.
"I'm sorry! Please don't cry, did I offend you?"
"No miss… Dobby could never be offended… by Harry Potter's new guardian."
Hell.
"How and what do you know about that?" asked Jennie and the house elf cringed back.
"Dobby has been spying miss… Dobby has been a bad elf, but Dobby wants to help Harry Potter! And Harry Potter can't go back to school!"
Jennie snarled, unable to stop herself.
"Don't tell me what my boy can and can't do! Who is your family and why did they send you here?"
"Dobby can't tell miss… Dobby wasn't sent here, Dobby came on his own and Dobby will have to iron his hands for disobeying!"
"That's morbid! Can you please tell me why you are here and why you are disobeying orders?" she asked and tried her best to sound friendly; if she was honest it wasn't the elf's fault.
"Dobby can't tell miss… but terrible dangerous things will happen at Hogwarts, and Harry Potter can't go back there!"
"Has this something to do with You-Know-Who?" asked Jennie, and she used the code for Voldemort since she had read that house elf's feared the name as much as wizards did.
"No miss… nothing to do with Him at all no longer", said the elf and then looked about to wail again.
"No no, Dobby please don't cry! There must be a reason for you to be here, can't you tell me?"
"Dobby is sorry miss, but Dobby can't. Miss has to promise that Harry Potter will not return to school!" prompted the elf and Jennie felt her headache increase.
"I will not give you such a promise. I can promise you that I will keep him safe, is that good enough?"
The elf nodded sadly and something in the large eyes made Jennie suspicious, but before she could talk again the creature had vanished.
"Right… cake time", she muttered in loss of what to do and set to work.

"Thanks Jennie this is great!" said Harry happily as he examined the cell phone she'd bought him; a Nokia 101.
"You're welcome little man. I figured it'd be good for you to have one, even if you can't use it at school. There's one more things, over there", she smiled and pointed to the corner.
Harry got up and Jennie watched as he looked at the large box which shook when he got closer.
"It's okay love, it's nothing dangerous. Go on", she encouraged him when he stepped back and looked at her for reassurance.
He sat down on the floor and slowly peeled of the lid, and then there was a boom and a squeals and the small black and grey kitten was climbing on Harry's back, having tipped over the box as it jumped onto him.
"A cat?!" said Harry in disbelief and carefully managed to get a hold of the kitten.
"Yupp. You said you wanted one."
"Thanks you."

"... so yes, I want us to break up", said Jennie once more and sighed a s Daniel glared at her.
"But you said you'd give me time!"
"I have given you time, you haven't used it well! I can't hang around lie this Daniel and neither can you, we'll both be unhappy and I don't want that. I'm sure you don't either, so it's better just to… let go."

She was cold, and is wasn't 'cause her window was open; the chill she felt came from inside.
"Jennie?"
The bed creaked as Harry climbed into it and hugged her.
"Hi little man, can't you sleep?"
"You can't sleep…" mumbled the boy and curled closer and Jennie smiled through silent tears and hugged him back.
"What would I do without you, darling?"
