Penny glanced to her right, biting on her lower lip as she looked at the back of Leonard's head and shoulders as he tried to sleep beside her. They had gone to bed almost an hour ago, and whilst he had finished off some work on his paper on his laptop, she had decided bring out her rarely used Kindle and do some reading.

A couple of the girls from her acting classes had been trying to get her to read this certain book for a while, insisting that it would be well worth it, but she had been unconvinced up until now. Those girls had been right though, she just wished that now, after she had read the latest steamy scenes from the book that everyone had been talking about, that her boyfriend wasn't almost asleep beside her.

He had turned off his laptop and said goodnight almost five minutes ago. She knew he wouldn't be completely asleep yet, and she battled with herself for a moment over whether to disturb him. She knew he had work early in the morning, and she did too, but the fast pace her heart was now beating at, the heat burning in her cheeks and her almost throbbing body, made the decision a lot easier.

Sitting the Kindle on her nightstand, she shuffled a little closer to him, placing her hand lightly on his shoulder as she brushed her fingers against the material of his white t-shirt.

"Leonard, sweetie," she whispered, her throat almost dry, "are you awake?"

He mumbled a short "hmm?" in reply.

"You awake, baby?" Penny ran her fingers down his arm to his hip.

"Mm-hmm," she heard him mumble, as he shifted his hips ever so slightly.

"Good," she breathed, dropping her head to his shoulder, placing her lips lightly on his neck. Her hand moved beneath the comforter and over his groin, and her heart skipped a beat as a smirk formed across her face. "Ooh. Well this is good." She moved her hand back up to his chest, heat spreading through her body as she bit down on her lip, gripping at his t-shirt. "I was reading this... uhm, this book, and-"

"Let me guess," Leonard said, his voice low, as he turned around to face her. His eyes met hers; dilated and staring lustfully at him, and he grinned, before gently pushing her onto her back. She gasped slightly, and he leaned over her to pick up her Kindle, chuckling as he skimmed over the content of the page she had left it on, before placing it down and shifting to hover over her. "Mm, thought so." He leaned down to kiss her lightly on the lips. "Every so often you'd grip the sheets a little. You look hot when you concentrate like that." He kissed her again, this time pushing his hips to hers. "Really hot." Her hands trailed to the waistband of his boxers as he moved to lightly suck on her neck. "Extremely hot, when you're reading and your face is all flushed and your breathing is all messed up."

Penny hummed a gentle moan as her hands moved up and under his t-shirt, "I thought you were supposed to be sleeping?"

"I tried at first," he gave her neck a gentle bite, "but it's pretty hard when all that is going on right beside me."

"Well, that's not the only thing that's hard." She pushed her hips up, causing Leonard's work on her neck to falter as he let out a groan. She used this moment to swiftly pull his t-shirt up over his head, throwing it off to the side.

In a quick movement she rolled them over, putting her hands flat on his chest as she straddled him. "So, if you were awake," she said as she bent over to kiss him on the lips, "why didn't you turn around sooner."

Leonard smiled, closing his eyes and putting his hands on her thighs, silently thanking her for wearing her short Hello Kitty pyjamas to bed instead of her longer ones, as she begun to place her sweet kisses down his jawline. "I was waiting on you to come to me." He moaned as she reached his neck, grazing her tongue across his skin. "Plus, I didn't want to interrupt you. You seemed to be pretty into it."

"I was." She mumbled as her hands moved down to his stomach, her lips finding their way to his chest. "I think next time though, we should read it together."

"Sounds good to me." Leonard's hands slowly moved up her thighs to her waist where he placed his hands under her pink camisole, before pulling it up away from her body.

Penny removed her lips from his chest for a moment to sit up, letting him completely remove her top and then quickly crashed her lips back down on to his.

Gripping her hips, Leonard turned them over again, smiling at the half giggle – half yelp that escaped his girlfriend's lips.

"Ooh," Penny grinned as his lips moved to her neck. Her grin quickly faded when she bit down on her lip as he sucked at the skin of her neck and his hand reached her left breast. "Oh God."

"You tease me about the left breast incident," Leonard said quietly, as his lips made his way down her neck to her chest, "but you seem to favor that one too... or prefer it, in any case."

"Mm-hmm," Penny moaned in agreement, although her focus was more on what his hands were doing to, rather than what he was saying about, her left breast. Her fingers gripped at his curls, pushing her hips up into his when his hands moved to the right as his mouth took over the left.

Allowing him to work on her, Penny simply enjoyed the pleasure for a while, writhing slightly on the bed as he ground his hips down to hers. Once his lips moved on to kiss down her stomach, she moaned loudly and slid her hands down his arms, pausing to squeeze at the muscles there and involuntarily moan again, before tugging at the waistband of his boxers.

Leonard pulled back and quickly pulled them off, throwing them off the side before returning his attention to her, placing kisses over her flat stomach again.

Penny writhed and pushed his head down, tilting her hips up to encourage him to go where she wanted him to, and to her relief he didn't resist and continue to tease her like he often would.

Instead he moved his lips down, pulling her pyjama shorts off as he moved. Once they were on the floor with the rest of their clothes he allowed her to direct his head back between her legs.

A low growl of a moan left her lips as his tongue played at her most sensitive spot and her hands clung to his curls while her back arched.

"Leonard! Oh God!"

He couldn't help but smile at the effect he was having on her, but just as he knew she was getting close, he stopped. His lips trailed kisses back up her stomach and past her chest and Penny's legs wrapped around him tightly, her hands moving to grip his back and pull his body close to hers.

"Baby, please." She pleaded into his ear as he sucked on her neck, the tip of his dick teasing at her entrance as her fingernails dug into his back.

Placing his lips back on hers, he slowly pushed into her and each of them moaned at the wonderful sensation it gave.

Slowly, he pulled back out of her, teasing her at her entrance briefly before slamming back into her. "Oh God, baby, please," she whimpered beneath him, as he began to pull out again. Stopping just before he was all the way out, he moved a hand down to where they met, rubbing a few gentle circles on her. Her hands flew above her head as she yelped, hitting the headboard, but she didn't notice. As he pushed firmly back into her, moving his lips to suck on her neck, she pushed at the pillows, gripping onto the sheets beneath them.

As he continued on like this, varying between simply going in and out, assisting with his hands and pausing to tease her, Penny tugged at the sheets and moaned uncontrollably beneath him. The top edges of the sheets came free from the corners, and she gathered the material tightly in her hands, innumerous profanities flying from her mouth as he picked up his pace considerably. Leonard slid his hands up her arms, prying the material from her hands. Her fingers instantly interlocked tightly with his, and he halted his movements briefly to kiss her deeply.

"Mmm," Penny moaned, responding hungrily to his kiss.

Teasingly, he jerked his hips quickly, and her eyes shot open. He could see the desire in them as he smirked, both of them panting into each other. Grazing his lips across her skin, he stopped at her ear. "You're so hot, baby," he whispered, touching his tongue to her earlobe. He thrust into her again, and she whimpered. "Penny, you're beautiful."

"Leonard, please, baby" she begged, her throat dry, tightening her grip with her legs and pushing her hips into him in attempt to increase the friction again and get him to continue what he had been doing.

Moving his lips to her shoulder and giving her skin a gentle bite, Leonard upped his pace. The headboard rattled against the wall and the mattress beneath them begun to squeak at the movement. For a brief second Penny thought that they might repeat what they had done before and force her to purchase a new bed, but that thought was quickly eradicated as soon as he thrust hard into her again.

She let out an incontrollable yell of pleasure, one that was certain to reach all of her close neighbours. Leonard's grunts and moans became more frequent too and it became obvious that he was close.

"Come on baby, I'm almost there."

Succumbing his last ounce of strength, Leonard pulled his head up from her shoulder and hovered above her, staring at her as he thrust in and out of her again and again until she jerked beneath him.

Her hands tightly squeezed his, "Shit, Leonard, yes!" She yelled as her orgasm took over.

"Oh God, Penny." His head dropped beside hers and after another deep thrust he came too.

Their interlocked hands loosened, as did her legs around his waist but their hips stayed firmly together, still pushing against each other on occasion as they continued to feel the effects of their powerful finish.

For some moments after all that could be heard was their labored breathing and while they came down from their high he placed soft kisses on both her neck and her lips.

"I guess the whole 'you should read more' beta test thingy worked out pretty well in the end for you, huh?" Penny said as she caught her breath, a grin forming on her lips.

"I guess it did." Leonard smiled as he looked her in the eyes. "I love you."

Penny moved her hand back into his hair and smiled, "I love you too, baby."
