Gosh hiya folks! Soooo sorry for not updating sooner, I've been working every day this week, Christmas is around the corner and my internet is still crashing every now and then ..
But, here is finally chapter 17, I hope you'll like it, please tell me what you think :)
Own nothing HPrelated, only the plot and Jennie and so on
17 February 13/ February 15 1993
Jennie tied on end of the small package to Hedwig's leg and then the other to Sunshine's; although her gift was small she thought it unwise to let one bird carry it for such a long distance.
"Now girls, behave and fly safely, and no arguing, okay?"
The birds squeaked and nibbled on her fingers before taking off through the window, their rhythm fast and steady and soon she couldn't them.
Since the day was early she decided to make good use of it, so after finishing her breakfast, she took off on an hour long run, and when she returned she found Arabella waiting on her doorstep.
"Hello!" Jennie managed to pant out as she slowed to a walk and felt her pulse beginning to slow down as well.
"Hello dear. Are you terribly busy or do you have time for an old lady?"
"Ah, not busy… you're not old… just a minute."
They went inside and Jennie made tea while she regained the ability to speak in full sentences.
"So, what's up Arabella?" she asked curiously when she poured them both tea and offered her unexpected guest a plate with cookies; Arabella took a chocolate cookie and Jennie treated herself with a raspberry cookie.
"Oh nothing much dear, I'm just old and feeling like chatting about happy things."
"He he, and what's happy things?"
"Ah, I'm glad you asked! Happy things are, for example, the fact that Harry soon is coming home, all the rumors about the Chamber of Secrets are being hushed down since you talked to Albus again and made him see reason since Harry can't do anything since he promised and you saw those green dots. Happy things are also the fact that I think you should see someone!"
Jennie giggled at Arabella rant and finished her tea.
"Well, I can't argue with you about Hogwarts matter, but I'm not in the mood for seeing anyone, so that's a big no, thank you very much", she laughed and Arabella snorted.
"No dear, you are a young woman with needs, go and have them taken care off!"
Jennie howled with laughter and choked on her tea at the hidden innuendo.

Dear Jennie
Remember I told you that I found a diary which was unused? Well, I have found that it was used, I think the writer somehow charmed it, 'cause I can write to him! I don't really know what to do, he says he knows things about the Chamber of Secrets and he offered to show me, but I declined; I remember you said that I was not to go looking for trouble, and also it feels funny, talking to someone through a diary… should I turn it in?
Thanks for the package, I love chocolate! Ron wanted a bit so I gave him one, Hermione refused and said it was my candy so now I have it all to myself! Thanks again, and it was cool that you sent Sunshine along; they were totally put out when they arrived!
Well, it's pretty late so I should go and sleep, night Jennie, love you.
Harry
Jennie smiled fondly and grabbed a pen and a piece of paper.
Dear Harry
Yes I remember and hell yes, turn it in right now! Sounds like dark magic, nothing good can come from it! I'm very proud that you declined, way to go darling! And good of you not to go looking for stuff that's not your responsibility!
Hehe, well I can't stop you from sharing but I did buy the candy for you, glad you liked it little man. Hah, I figured our pets should be tired, they seemed happy to be working together I think.
Well, I hope you got some good sleep, you shouldn't be up so late Harry, sleep is important!
Now, I want you to write me immediately when you've turned in that weird diary you found, and if you try to snoop around I'll be very disappointed since you promised me you wouldn't, so please don't.
Take care and come home soon, I miss you
Love you darling
Jennie
She finished off the little letter, read it over and decided it fitting enough, so she sent Hedwig back to Hogwarts and then she took Sunshine and treated the owl for being so good and flying so long.
"You know girlie, I really think it's nice to have you in the house, it feels safe", she told the bird and she went upstairs with Sunshine on her shoulder. The bird hooted tiredly and as soon as Jennie placed her in her cage, the bird pointedly closed her eyes and tucked her head under one wing.

Jennie put the book aside and glared at it. She had been reading everything she could think of and more to try and find out what the dots she had seen around Harry were, but she had failed hugely and now she was annoyed.
"Why can't I find anything about magic and dots?!" she muttered annoyed and glanced at the pile of unread books, but found that she had no interest in reading further.
"Ugh! I need some expert help here…" she decided and went up and strolled into her kitchen whre4 she made a cup of hot chocolate before she took pen and paper and began writing a letter.
Hi Narcissa!
Hope everything is alright; care to come by for a talk? I need some friend time and a little advice. If you do come by, feel free to just pop into the living room.
Hugs
Jennie
She took another piece of paper and quickly wrote down more words on it.
Hi Minerva,
Hope you are well. Can you come by, like, right now? Narcissa will also be here, urgent meeting and friend time.
Hugs
Jennie
She scooped up the two notes, sealed them and then sprinted out of her house and all the way down to Arabella's place, where she knocked three times and watched the door open by itself; a little invention from Minerva.
"Arabella?" Jennie called out as she stepped into the small hall.
"In the kitchen dear!"
She headed into said room and found Arabella wrapped in a thick scarf, boiling something on the stove.
"Hi, can I please send these the quicker way? To Minerva and Narcissa?" begged Jennie quickly and Arabella nodded and pointed to a little box that hung on the wall; it was a happy blue shade and looked pretty much like a post box. Jennie headed over to it and dropped the first letter inside it.
"Narcissa Malfoy", she said in a clear voice, and the box glowed white and then turned blue again, so she out in the next letter and spoke Minerva's name, and again the box glowed and when it turned blue Jennie whirled around to Arabella who was watching her curiously.
"You need to come over, I have a theory and I need advice", she said and the older woman nodded.
"Of course I'll come."
The headed back to Jennie's place, Jennie played good hostess and made tea, coffee and took out a chocolate cake for eating, and I mere minutes there was a soft tinkle heard, and Minerva and Narcissa strolled into the kitchen from the living room.
"Hiya, thanks, you are so cool!" said Jennie as she hugged them, offered drinks and cake and then sat down by the table.
"Something is up, isn't it?" said Narcissa knowingly and Jennie nodded.
"Several things are up. The Basilisk; something need to be done 'cause I'm freaking sure it is one, end of story. Two, harry will not be a pawn here; I have an idea how to handle the giant snake. But I'll come back to that. Now, help me out here; what do you know od diaries which write back when you write in them?"
Minerva snorted.
"A mere diary can't write back, Jennie, it has to be charmed with a person's memories or personality", she explained and Jennie nodded.
"That's what I suspected since I haven't found anything in my books… Narcissa, I don't like pointing fingers, but I think your husband might have slipped something, like a diary, inside a student book and voila it's now in the castle; I thought I saw him adding something to Ginny Weasley's book when I met him in Diagon Alley. But I wasn't sure, so I didn't say anything, but I've thought it over and, well…"
To Jennie's surprise, Narcissa's eyes widened and she looked actually scared.
"The fool! He promised me he would get rid of that thing… oh dear… you see, years ago, the… ah… You-Know-Who gave Lucius a diary and told him to guard it safely and then give it back when he asked for it. Since he is gone, Lucius hasn't given it back, obviously, and he's kept it locked up, but it has made him uneasy and I think he might've cast it aside to be free of the burden, so to speak… but why would he see so that it slipped inside the school? I don't get him there… perhaps he thought it a harmless prank… but that diary is defiled with dark magic from Him… "
Jennie took a sip of her coffee and watched Narcissa in silence.
"You speak as if that diary is Him", she said softly, and when the last word left her mouth she heard Minerva gasp, Narcissa seemed to realize something for she looked sick, and Arabella looked plainly scared.
"Oh dear… He made the diary a Horcrux", mumbled Narcissa and looked faint.
"He made a what?" said Jennie confused.
"A Horcrux, an object in which a piece of His soul is hidden", explained Minerva, and Narcissa gave a whimper and Arabella cursed and Jennie felt as if she was missing something.
"And I take it this is not good?"
"It's a fucking disaster!" growled Narcissa, and since the fair blonde rarely cursed, Jennie came to the conclusion that it was, indeed, a disaster.
"Right… so okay, we have a part of an evil madman inside a diary, and we have a huge snake in the school along with the diary… he's plotting for world domination even though he's dead! Really, that's so mainstream", she said annoyed and tried to ease the feeling that Hell had suddenly paid a visit.
Narcissa gave a weak giggle, and Minerva snorted and Arabella patted Jennie's hand.
"You said you had an idea about the snake?" said Arabella and Jennie forced herself to think.
"Ah yes! Well, if Harry can talk to snakes, then he should be able to talk to the giant snake, so I thought that if we recorded him speaking… Parseltongue… then we can lure the snake somewhere and someone, preferably Albus since he's Headmaster, can get rid of it! Ta-da!"
Narcissa actually applauded and Jennie jokingly got up from the chair and bowed gracefully.
"And how to you say we do this record?" asked Minerva and looked a little bewildered.
"Ah, that I can help with", smiled Jennie and produced a small recorder from a shelf.
"So, ladies, is this out new plan?"
The tree women nodded, and so they decided to fight a giant snake with a recorded voice and an old Headmaster as their weapons.
So, what do you think of this? Good plan? Silly? Want to read how it goes? Tell me :)
