A Gun shot takes place…and a voice echoed in the room.

Purvi- Rajattt Sirrrrrrr….!

She ran towards him and The man who shot ran away.

Purvi kept his head in her lap and with the help of the manager at the party called ambulance.

Purvi- Rajat Sir…..aapko kuch nhi hoga. Bas aap aankhein khuli rakhiye. Hum hospital pahuchne wale hai.

She hold his hands. In around 15 minutes they reached the hospital. Rajat was taken in immediately. He was taken in the Operation Theatre. Purvi was sitting on the benches outside the Operation Theatre. She was crying.

Suddenly she realized that she has to tell all the team members about what happened. She took out her mobile and called Acp picked up the phone immediately.

Acp- Ha Purvi bolo….kya khabar hai ?

Purvi- Sir….wo ….Rajat sir…(she was still crying)

Acp- Kya hua Rajat ko ?

Purvi- Sir….wo Rajat sir ko goli lagi hai.

Acp – Kya?

All the others became alert at this tone of Acp.

Purvi- Ha sir….wahan par jo boss tha us gang ka ….usne chalayi goli. Mujhe bachate bachate rajat sir ko goli lag gayi. Aur wo bhi hamare haath se nikal gaya.

Acp- Koi baat nhi Purvi….hum usey pakad lenge. Ye batao kaunse hospital mein ho tum?

Purvi- City Hospital Sir.

Acp- Theek hai …..hum aate hai.

And he disconnected the call.

Purvi looked at the OT and tears fall down from her eyes.

Purvi's Pov- Sb meri galti hai. Main sir ki aawaz sun leti toh unhe kuch nhi hota. Plz bhagwan …..ab kuch khone ki himmat nhi hai mujhme. Rajat sir ko nhi khona chahti main…please unhe theek kr do."

She was lost in her thoughts when she felt a hand on her head. She looked up and found Acp standing. She stood up….

Purvi- Sab meri wajah se hua hai sir. I'm sorry.

Acp- Tumhari koi galti nhi hai purvi. Aur Rajat ko kuch nhi hoga. Wo bahutbahadur CID officer hai.

He patted her head. Shreya came and sat beside her holding her hands.

Purvi- Shreya…..Rajat sir ko meri wajah se goli lagi. Agar main pehli baar mein unki aawaz sun leti toh ye sab nhi hota.

Shreya- Purvi…..isme teri koi galti nahi hai. Tu khud ko dosh mat de.

Purvi- Nahi Shreya…baat toh yahi hai na ki mujhe bachane ke chakkar mein unhe lag gayi.

Daya- Purvi….tum uske saath thi toh tumhara dhyan rkhna bhi uski priority thi. Usne jo kiya theek kiya. Aur ha….rajat ko kuch nhi hoga.

Purvi (smiled)- Kaash aapki baat sahi ho sir.

Daya(kept his hand on her head)- Aisa hi hoga.

Meanwhile…..the OT opened and doctor came out. Purvi hurriedly moved towards the doctor.

Purvi- Doctor…..rajat sir theek toh hai na ? Khatre kki toh koi baat nnhi hai na?

Doctor- Aap shant ho jaiye. Humne operation kr diya hai…..ab hosh aane par exact condition pata chalegi. Aap sahi waqt par le aayi unhe.

Acp- Hello Doctor….Main hu Acp Pradyuman CID se. Koi chinta wali baat toh nhi hai na?

Doctor- Nahi Sir…rajatji ab khatre se bahar hai. Ab bas unke hosh mein aane ka intezaar hai.

Acp- Thank you Doctor!

The doctor left from there. Acp asked Shreya to take Purvi to her home as she needed rest .

Purvi- Nahi Sir….main kahin nhi jaungi jb tk rajat sir ko hosh nhi aa jaaata.

Acp- Purvi….tumhe aaram ki zarurat hai. Jab rajat ko hosh aayega toh main tumhe bata dunga.

Purvi- Please sir…mujhe yahin rehne dijiye. Sirf aaj sir….please.

Acp- Purvi…..dekkho zidd mat karo…Daya hai na yahan par. Jb bhi rajat ko hosh aayega….Daya tumhe bata dega aur tum Shreya ke saath aa jaana.

Purvi(was still adamant)- Nahi sir….please aaj yahin rukne dijiye…..plz.

Acp gave a helpless look to Daya….Daya came forward.

Daya- Acha theek hai Purvi…tum yahan ruk skti ho. LEkin ek shart par….manzur hai ?

Purvi- Kaisi shart? Maine bola na main nhi jaungi jb tk sir ko hosh nhi aayega.

Daya- Acha theek hai lekin Shreya ke saath ghar jakar fresh hokar wapas aa skti ho na.? Abhi tk party wali dress mein ho.

Purvi looked at herself…

Purvi- THeek hai lekin main wapas yahan aaungi.

Daya- Ha theek hai. Tum aao tb tk main hu yahan.

Daya gave Shreya the keys of his car and Shreya and purvi left. Even acp sir too left leaving Daya in hospital.

Meanwhile Shreya drove to Purvi's home…..Both of them entered inside and Purvi ran into her room and broke down again. Shreya heard her crying and even she had tears in her eyes. She knocked on the door…

Shreya- Purvii plz ro mat…..sab theek ho jayega. Ab tu change kar.

Purvi rubbed her tears and replied….

Purvi- Ha Shreya….aa rahi hu 10 minute mein.

At the same time Shreya's phone rang. It was from Daya. She picked up the phone.

Shreya- Ha Daya Boliye.

Daya- Ab Purvi kaisi hai ?

Shreya- Ab bhi khud ko dosh de rahi hai. Waise Rajat Sir ko hosh aaya?

Daya- Nahi…..abhi tk toh nhi. Tum bas Purvi ko shant karo.

Shreya- Ha main koshish krti hu.

Daya- Ha theek hai. Tum uska dhyan rakho.

And then he disconnected the call. Purvi too came out of her room and asked….

Purvi- Rajat sir ko hosh aaya Shreya?

Shreya- Nahi Purvi…..Abhi tk nahi aaya. Lekin chinta mat kar …..Unhe jldi hosh aa jayega.

Purvi- Kaash aisa hi ho. Achcha chal Ab jaldi chal.

Shreya- Purvi…10 minute baith ja fir chalte hai.

Purvi- Nahi….abhi chal. Main aur intezaar nhi kr skti.

Shreya gave up and moved out with Purvi.

After around 20 minutes they reached hospital and Purvi went in running as if she'll miss something important. Shreya smiled at her restlessness and worry. She too moved behind her.

Purvi ran to Daya and saw him sitting lost in his thoughts.

Purvi- Daya Sir…..!

Daya came out of his trail of thoughts on her voice.

Purvi- Daya Sir…..Rajat sir ko hosh aaya kya ?

Daya- Nahi Purvi par ab wo theek hai. Tum yahan baitho.

He made her sit on the bench. Meanwhile Shreya too came up. He told to Shreya….

Daya- Tum dono yahan baitho…..main aata hu.

Shreya nodded and he left. Purvi sat holding Shreya's hand that too tightly.

Shreya- Purvi…..please chinta mat kar. Rajat Sir ko hosh aa jayega.

Meanwhile other team members came and were waiting for doctor. Daya came up with 2 glasses of Juice….and asked Purvi to drink it but she denied.

Daya(strict tone)- Purviiii…..ab agar tumne aur zidd ki toh tum yahan nhi ruk skti. Chup chap ye pi lo.

Purvi unwillingly took the glass as Daya threatened her that she'll not stay here. Daya smiled at her. At the same time , Doctor came and told them that Rajat is now conscious. A happy smile crept on everyone's face.

Acp , Daya an others went in to meet rajat. Rajat tried to sit but Acp stopped him.

Acp- Kaise ho Rajat?

Rajat- Ab toh theek hu sir aur aap sabse milkar toh jld hi theek ho jaunga.

Acp(smiled)- Ha acha hai. Mujhe mera bahadur sipahi jldi hi bureau mein wapas chahiye.

Rajat looked around and found everyone except the face he was searching for. Daya looked at him and smiled. Meanwhile Acp and others left from there due to some case.

Daya(whispered to him)- Jiska tum wait kar rahe ho wo bahar hai.

Rajat(smiled shyly)- Main kisi ka wait nhi kar raha Sir.

Daya- Mujhe pata hai sab Rajat.

Rajat- Waise sir…Purvi theek toh hai na?

Daya- Ha bilkul theek hai. Lekin wo ye soch rhi hai ki tumhari ye halat uski wajah se hui hai.

Rajat- Nahi Sir….aisa kuch nhi hai.

Daya- Hum jaante hai Rajat. Lekin ye sab usey tum hi samjha skte ho.

Meanwhile Purvi came in with Shreya.

Purvi(moved towards him)- Sir…Aap theek toh hai na?

Rajat- Ha Purvi….theek hu.

Purvi- I'm really sorry sir…..meri wajah se aapko goli lagi.

Rajat- Purvi…tumhari koi galti nahi hai. Goli ya toh tumhe lagti ya mujhe. Tumhe kuch hota toh main khud ko maaf nhi kar paata.

Purvi- Aur agar aapko kuch ho jaata toh? (Tears fromed in her eyes.)

Rajat- Tum ho na meri dost…..pata tha mujhe ki tum mujhe kuch nhi hone dogi.

Daya and Shreya smiled at this cute convo.

Purvi- Ha….lekin aur kuch khona nahi chahti main.

Rajat- Purvi…main bilkul theek hu. Ab rona band karo.

Purvi(rubbed her tears)- Achcha theek hai …aap rest kijiye.

Daya- Ha Rajat …..hum bhi chalte hai. Purvi yahin hai. (turned to Purvi) Purvi….kuch bhi zarurat ho toh call kr dena.

Rajat(smiled)- Theek hai sir.

Purvi too nodded and DaReya left from there.

Rajat now looked at Purvi…. She still had tears in her eyes.

Rajat(hold her hand)- Purvi….please ab rona band karo. Tumne kuch nhi khoya. Main hu na bilkul theek tumhare saamne.

Purvi- Achcha….wo mujhe pata hai aap kitne theek hai.

Meanwhile the nurse enters with soup for Rajat and his medicines. Rajat made a face and purvi smiled.

Purvi(to nurse)- Sister….aap ye yahin rakh dijiye. Main inhe pila dungi soup aur medicines bhi de dungi.

Nurse(smiled)- Theek hai mam.

And she left. Purvi took the soup bowl and gave it to Rajat. Rajat looked at her and found lots of concern and love for him

Rajat- Purvi…..main ye nhi peene wala. Hatao isey.

Purvi- Sir….aaj aapko yahi peena hai. Chaliye pijiye.

Rajat – Nahi…main nhi piyunga.

Purvi- Sir….aap kab se zidd karne lage. Please pi lijiye. Dawai bhi leni hai aapko.

Rajat- Toh tum pila do.

Purvi(looked at him astonishingly)- Main….?

Rajat- Ha ….tum…..Tum dost ho na meri. Dost ke liye itna nhi karogi?(made a sad face)

Purvi (smiled)- Acha theek hai…..

And she fed him with the soup. Rajat was now smiling. Then she gave him medicines and asked him to sleep. She was sitting on a chair near to his bed.

Rajat soon drifted into sleep. Purvi looked at his face and was relieved. She was thinking….

"Kyun…..aapki takleef se mujhe takleef hui…kyun main khud ko dosh de rhi thi.? Aapko takleef mein nhi dekh skti main…..Mujhe kyun itna ajeeb lag rha hai….kyun ek darr baith gaya hai mann mein…..Kyun?"

She heard her conscience(Purvi1) saying….

Purvi1- Kyunki wo tere liye ek dost se badhkar hai.

Purvi- Nahi…wo mere dost hai aur dost se pehle senior hai.

Purvi1- Nahi purvi….jo tum feel kr rhi ho…..wo sirf ek dost ke liye nhi hai. Rajat tumhare liye bahut maayne rakhte hai.

Purvi- Ha ….bahut maayne rkhte hai. Bahut hi achche insaan bhi hai.

Purvi1- Aur tumhe us insaan se pyaar ho gaya hai. Chahne lagi ho usey tum.

Purvi- Nahi…aisa nhi hai .

Purvi1- Aisa hi hai Purvi…..aur sirf tum hi nhi Rajat bhi chahta hai tumhe. Tabhi toh pareshan ho gaya tha wo tumhe lekar aur aaj tum pareshan ho uske liye. Usey theek dekhkar tum khush ho. Yahi toh pyaar hai.

Purvi- Nahi….aisa nhi hai. Aur Rajat sir mujhe kyun chahenge? Unke liye toh mujhse bhi achchi ladkiyan mil jayengi.

Purvi1- Lekin tumhari tarah nhi milegi na. Sirf apne dil ki suno. Jaise tum uske liye pareshan thi wo sirf koi apne pyaar ke liye hi ho skta hai. Dil se socho….tumhe tumhare jawab mil jayenge.

And with this Purvi came out of her thoughts…..

Purvi's POV- Kya mujhe sach mein Rajat sir se pyaar ho gaya hai? Lekin kya wo mujhe chahte hai….? Lekin agar wo mujhe sirf dost mante ho toh…..?

She then decides to listen to her heart….and closed her eyes. In sleep….Rajat hold her hand that too opened her eyes with his touch and found her hand in his grip. She heard him murmuring….

"Purvi….tumhari aankhon mein aansu nhi dekh skta main….plz mat ro. Aur dekhna main bahut jald bureau aaunga…bilkul theek hokar"

Purvi was surprised to listen this from Rajat. She again closed her eyes….and yes….she got her answer but was surprised. She felt rajat's grip getting tighter on her hand and she kept her free hand on his hand as to assure him that she is there. In his sleep…Rajat smiled and Purvi too smiled.

She too rested her head on the chair and slept.
