"Fucking hell! Shit! Okay, what do I do? Do you need water or some potions or what?"
"Easy woman, it looks worse than it feels."
She scoffed at him.
"Don't play macho with me Black!"
"I'm not!" he protested. "Honestly, I'm okay, Remus is worse!"
"No shit?"
"Oh ha-ha you are so funny love!"
Sirius groaned as he slid down on the couch in the living room while Jennie hovered over him like some sweet but a little worried angel.
"Darling really… don't worry. I've done this since I was fifteen", he murmured softly and she snorted.
"Yes, exactly the right thing to tell me! Are those bite-marks?!"
"No, claw marks… can't I have a kiss?"
"Oh great, that's much better, deep claw marks… ugh!"
He chuckled, and pulled her down on his lap and kissed her; she wriggled a little and hugged him as their tongues played.
"Mm… are you sure you don't need potions?"
"Totally. I think I need sleep, however… Remus is with Tonks and I'm sure she's pampering him, so he won't need me more today."
"I'm happy for him, it was sneaky of you!"
"Of course it was! Marauder, and all that!" he grinned and Jennie rolled her eyes.
"For a grown up you can be so immature!"
"And you can be so-"
"No! Don't you dare go there! I hear that from Harry, I don't need to hear it from you!" she giggled and kissed his cheek.
"Sirius! Shit, you look worse than last month! You okay?"
Sirius waved at his godson, who looked tired but happy to see him.
"Hi H. Nah, I'm fine, like I told the worried lady here; it looks worse than it feels."
"Okay, well that's good, but still, you look like shit!" said Harry, and Jennie glared at him.
"Don't curse, kid!"
Sirius snorted.
"Says the lady who can out curse me!"
"Oh shut it!" she grinned and he heard Harry laugh.
"Hey Jennie, I looked over those books you collected, mind if I show them to the group?"
"Not at all, that's why I gave it to you, dolt", said the blonde woman and ruffled the boys hair when he stepped up and hugged her, and Sirius chuckled mildly at the sight.
"No, let my hair be! But, can you show us? Just so we get I right."
"Sure thing, kid. Just let me now when you'll have the next little secret meeting", smiled Jennie and then giggled like a maniac.
"That was so bad", commented Sirius calmly, and she glared at him and wriggled some more, in a very specific way, and he gripped her hips and held het still.
"Now, play nicely", he growled, and Harry yelped and stepped several feet away.
"Ew! Don't you two ever stop with the sexual things?!"
Sirius felt Jennie shake as she erupted in laughter and hid her face against his neck.
"Oh fuck… ha ha… hurts… oh…" she snorted out, hugging her stomach as she calmed down.
"You should take a shower and then soak."
Sirius yawned and nodded.
"I was planning on that… Harry, do you mind terribly if I show you the dueling stuff tomorrow?"
"Nah, it's alright, you look kinda dead."
"Jeez, thanks a lot kid!"
"Welcome", grinned Harry.

It was annoying that he wasn't allowed to do magic even though there was a war coming. Harry flicked through one of the books Jennie had given him and stared down at a certain picture: two figures where fighting and one had the other in a strange head and arms lock while stabbing a knife in the victim's side.
"Jennie… can you do all of this?" he asked the older woman who sat on the floor.
"Sort of", she answered in a tune that he had learnt meant that she left things unsaid.
"Hey, you always say we can talk about everything, right?"
She smiled slightly at him.
"Yes."
"So, why don't you? Talk, I mean?"
Jennie blushed slightly and sighed and rubbed her nose.
"Well… I don't lie talking about how I know this fighting stuff… my parents were killed when I was seven, and my dad owned this place where he thought kids and grownups how to use this kind of material arts in defense. I used to come with him and watch, and I had just started to learn some small things myself when he and mum got killed… I felt like if I could become really, really good at this, then I'd somehow be able to stop others from getting hurt… but I haven't… and I hate it… so I keep practicing…and well, here we are."
Harry cooked his head and looked at the woman whom he saw as his surrogate mum.
"So… that's sort of why you want to teach us? So we can defend ourselves in every way possible?"
"Yeah", she smiled and closed the book she had been reading.
"But we'll never be as good as you! I mean, I've seen you do some of this!"
Jennie chuckled and rose to her feet and ruffled his hair.
"Nah, you can't become supreme over a night, but you can become pretty good pretty fast if you train well, and that'll be enough since you have magic as well, I don't have that advantage."
Harry figured that she had a point.
"So, we can have the fighting on Saturday then?"
"Yupp, that's fine."
"Cool."
"Harry?"
Now what? Jennie suddenly sounded… kind of worried.
"Yeah?"
"Do you by any chance like Ginny?"
What the fuck… how could she know that? He'd been discreet boarding on non-existing!
"What?!"
She smirked at him.
"Oh give me some credit, will you? I've practically raised you!"
"But… I haven't… I mean I don't give any indication that I do!" he protested loudly and watched as the blonde woman erupted in giggles.
"No, you only stare at her whenever you think no one is looking at you, and then you go all stiff and look at Ron, seem scared and don't look at her anymore!" snorted his guardian.
Harry huffed, half embarrassed and half amused by Jennie's reaction.
"Well, he's like my best friend…"
"Harry, that really doesn't matter. If you like Ginny, you should go for it! Especially now, when times are hard, it's important to have some light in the world."
"Yeah… but Ron doesn't like guys being around Ginny like that."
"Well, I think he'll be more okay with you than with someone else, since you are best friends. Anyway, you should talk to Ginny and see how things are", said Jennie and smiled and kissed his cheek.
"Maybe", Harry admitted.
"No maybe. Do it. Now, I'll just pop upstairs and see how you godfather's doing. You should take Blacky outside in the garden, but only there, okay?"
Harry, who knew that she had severals points, waved as Jennie left and then went to get hos dog.

… ius… c'mon… up…"
The voice was soft, and so familiar that it lulled him back to sleep, but he blinked and yawned and was met by blue eyes and a soft smile.
"Hi", he murmured she smiled wider and bent down and kissed his cheek.
"Hello. Feeling better?"
"Yeah… at least, not so tired. A little stiff though, but it'll pass. What're you doing?"
"I talked with Harry a bit and sent him to the garden with Blacky; figured they could use fresh air and a carefree moment."
He smiled.
"You're sweet. Care to cuddle?"
"Stupid question", she scoffed and lay down beside him, kissed him softly and then shifted and slid a leg over his and an arm across his stomach.
"So, big meeting tomorrow… things are not so bright Jennie… you know you won't be able to go with us, right?" he said after a while and felt her stiffen.
"Don't", she said calmly. "Not tonight. Let's just forget it for now, we need a bubble moment darling."
He chuckled.
"What is a bubble moment?"
"A moment frozen in time; no cares but those who make you feel good, like Harry being with Blacky now and us being here. A bubble moment."
He laughed and kissed her.
"You're a delight."
