Chapter 14 - Daddy-Daughter Day!
Jack's POV - 10am - Thurday August 29th
I was in my room listening to music when my phone vibrated, I checked and saw a text message from Kim.
From: Kim
Message: Hey, do you want to spend the day with Kaitlyn? I need to go out to do some stuff, I can ask my dad if you want, I just thought it'll be nice for you to spend some time with her? xx
I smiled and replied.
To: Kim
Message: I'm okay with spending the day with my girl, do you want me to come get her or...? xx
From: Kim
Message: I'll bring her over, I'll be there in 5 minutes xx
I smiled and walked downstairs.
"What are you smiling about?" Gabriella asked.
"Kim's bringing Kaitlyn over so I can spend some time with her today." I said and she smiled as someone knocked on the door.
"Jack! Kim & Kait's here!" Lorna said smiling and I walked round into the corridor and saw Kim dressed in burgandy skinny jeas, a red/orange floral halter top, a black army boots, a mint green diamond on a necklace (AN: Outfit Olivia wore when designing her 16th birthday cake) and a hand made bracelet with 'Kaitlyn' On.
"Hey." She said and I smiled.
"Hey." I said and then looked at Kaitlyn, she looked at me with a little smile, I leaned down and picked her up out of the stroller, she was wearing a pink bodysuit that said Mama's little angel, some light pink tights, and a dark blue denim pleated skirt on top, with the converse socks, she had on a pink fluffy coat.
"So what are you doing today Kim?" Mum asked her.
"I'm going out with Grace & Julie to get some clothes for school on Monday, I still havent lost all the baby weight and need some new clothes." She explained and mother nodded, "Anyway, Jack, there's 4 bottles of milk, 10 nappies, a bip, and everything else she will need in the bag, oh and baby wipes, if you need me, ring me." She said worriedly.
"Kim, relax, If I need any help my mums here." I said and she nodded.
"Okay." She said and kissed Kaitlyn on the forehead. "Be good for Daddy okay." She said and Kaitlyn squaled and snuggled into my neck, "Good luck." She said and headed for the door.
"We'll be fine." I said smiling and she looked at me.
"I was talking to Kaitlyn." She smirked as I glared and she walked out.
"Is mummy being mean to daddy?" I asked Kaitlyn who coo'ed. "Yes she is, and just to let you know, if you want mummy to be nice to you, you might want your first word to be mama, Mama, Mama." I said and she just looked at me, "Your not gonna say it are you?" I asked, "No, your not." I said and looked at my mum who was smiling.
"Whats that smell?" Shaun asked and Mum took Kaitlyn of me and sniffed.
"Oh, she needs changing." She said handing her back to me, "Go on daddy." She smirked.
Kim's POV
"So, where's Kaitlyn?" Julie asked me as we walked around town.
"With Jack for the day." I said and she & Grace smirked, "What?" I asked them.
"Nothing just, you and Jack are gonna have to spend a lot of time together with Kaitlyn, and you know, things could happen." Grace said smiling.
"Nothing is ever gonna happen with me & Jack." I stated.
"Um hello, Kim! You have a baby together, you slept together for gods sake, there had to be something there for that to of happened." Julie said and I rolled my eyes.
"Nothing is and will never happen with me and Jack, okay." I said, "Anyway, enough about this, we're here to shop." I said as we walked into Primark.
Jack's POV
"There, all done." I said and me & Shaun took the pegs of out noses.
"God, who knew something so small can make something that gross, What's Kim been feeding her." Shaun saidwith a disguisted look.
"Breast Milk." Gabriella said smirking.
"Well when can she stop having breast milk?" Shaun asked her.
"Kids can have breast milk up to there 3." Mum said coming down the stairs and I sighed.
"Good luck Jack, your gonna have to change nappies like that for the next 4 years." Shaun said patting my shoulder and walking away and I sighed and picked up Kaitlyn.
"Dont listen to uncle Shaun, Daddy's not gonna be doing nappies anymore, I'll leave that to Mummy, wont I my little princess." I said holding her gently in my arms and she coo'ed.
"Right well, I gotta get to work." Gabriella said and kissed mum, "I'll see you at the pup at 5 babe." She said and walked out.
"I can't believe you didnt help me change Kaitlyn." I said walking over to mum.
"Yeah well, you needed to learn how to do things on your own, your 15 Jack." She said and I sighed. "Right, I've gotta get to the factory, Your dad will be round in a bit for Lorna, Amelia & Buster, and Shaun is leaving around 7-ish." She explained and I nodded as she kissed Kaitlyn on the forehead. "Bye my little girl." She said and walked out.
Kim's POV - 7pm
"Hi Kim, Bye Kim." Shaun said as he opened the front door just as I was about to knock and he walked to his car.
"Hi." I said to myself and walked into the house shutting the door, I turned and saw Jack holding Kaitlyn in his arms and playing with her. "Hey." I said and he smiled at me.
"Hey." He said and I kissed my baby girl then sat down next to Jack.
"So, I got you a present." I said to Jack who looked at me confused.
"What present?" He asked and I held up a bag from Primark.
"Well, its actually for Kaitlyn, but its also for you." I said and he nodded, "Come on, come to Mama. " I said in a baby voice as I carefully took her off him, "Jack, close your eyes." I said and he did as I told, "Dont open them until I say so." I added as I changed Kaitlyn into her new bodysuit, I picked her up and held her infront of him carefully, "Now Open!" I said and he opened his eyes and looked at her then smiled.
"Daddy's Little Princess." He said and smiled even more taking her of me, I got Kaitlyn a white bodysuit that has 'Daddy's Little Princess' In pink glitter on it. "Thankyou Kim, I love it." He said smiling at me and I smiled,
"Your welcome." I said and he looked into my eyes and I dont know why but I started to get lost in them, his chocolate brown eyes drawing me closer, it was only then I realised we were getting closer until Kaitlyn cried and we jumped apart. "Um." I started, "I think she's tired." I said and got out a baby onesie, it was leopard print, "Here, I'll change her." I said taking Kait of him and quickly changing her into it as Jack made her bottle, He then fed it to her as I put all her stuff into the bottom of the stroller.
"Night night my little princess." Jack said kissing her on the forehead and put our sleeping angel into her stroller. "Thanks, for letting me have her today, it meant a lot." He said and I nodded,
"Its not a problem, besides, gives me a chance to be a normal girl again." I said and he nodded in understandment.
"Well, whenever you want me to have her, I will, It's not a problem, I love spending time with her." He said smiling.
"Even when you have to change her diapers?" I asked him smirking.
"Even then." He said and I lightly laughed.
"Well, I best get this little one back home." I said and he nodded, "Oh I forgot to mention, Kaitlyn has an appointment tomorrow at the doctors, do you want to come?" I asked him.
"Yeah off course." He said smiling and I nodded.
"I'll meet you at the bus stop at 10, the appointments at 11" I explained and he nodded, "Bye Jack." I said and walked out into the cold air, its dark out already.
Surprise, I was in a happy mood, as I just posted the first chapter of my first Austin & Ally story, its called Friends With Kids, for anyone who likes A&A, check it out, so anyway, I thought I'd surprise you! xx And I decided that I'm gonna respond to some of your reviews, for 1: Thank you to everyone who has took the time to review! It means a lot for me! and It always makes me happy (Which is hard, which you know if u read my profile), and I love you guys soo much!, and one person reviewed, saying to make the characters older, and I'm responding with this; Thanks for reviewing, I would make them older, except a bit of the plot has to do with the fact that they are so young, I also want to kinda show case that teen parents, are not bad parents, in fact teen parents run in my family, no joke, my mother had my sister at 19, my cousin Shauna-Leigh had a kid at 18, Sammy at 18, Nicole at 18 (She's still 18 and pregnant with baby no. 2), Nikita at 16, Jamie-Lee at 17, Nicholas at 19, Terri at 17, ect, like I said, lots of teen parents in my family haha,xx but they are all amazing parents, and actually my cousin Nikita, turned 17 on Monday, and her due date is tomorrow! xx
