Chapter 15 - Shocking Discovery
Kim's POV - 10am
I walked to the bus stop with Kaitlyn in her stroller and saw Jack already there.
"Hey." I said and he smiled.
"Hey," He replied and kneeled down next to the stroller. "Hello gorgeous." He said and Kaitlyn smiled at the sound of his voice and coo'ed. "I still cant believe how tiny she is." He smiled.
"I know, she's smaller now at 3 weeks and 5 days than my cousin's son when he was born 2 months ago." I said and he chuckled.
"She must take after you." He smirked.
"I am not small!" I exclaimed with a smile and he chuckled.
"Yeah you are, but in a cute way." He said smiling at me and I blushed and brushed some hair infront of my face to cover it, luckily the bus turned up before anything else could be said, we got on and Jack paid for us ignoring my protest and we sat at one of the front seats where they have room for the strollers, we silently chatted for a bit when a group of girls who go to our school go on laughing, they went silent when they saw us and they sat down behind us.
"Hey isnt that the girl that slept with Lindsay's boyfriend." I heard the ginger girl who's called Celeste whisper.
"Yeah, Lynn, I think her name is." A black haired one called Candi said.
"No It's Kim, and she was actually Lindsay's best friend." A Blonde haired one called Zoey said.
"I thought Lindsay and Jack got back together." A colored girl with black hair called Renee said.
"They did, but then apparently Kim made Jack chose between Lindsay and that baby, can you believe that." A girl with died red hair called Shona said and I could feel Jack getting angry next to me.
"Well I can, I mean, you have to be a slut to sleep with your best friends Boyfriend in the 1st place." Zoey stated and Jack turned around to face them.
"Why dont you all just shut the hell up, ey! Kim didnt make me chose, Lindsay did, she just didnt like the answer, and if anyones a slut, its your lot okay, so why dont you all just leave Kim and my daughter the hell alone and get back to your pathetic lives!" He exclaimed as I bit my lip.
"Whats going on back there." The bus driver said as he stopped at a bus stopped and turned to look at us.
"Nothing," I said and stood up pulling Jack with me, "Come on this is our stop." I said pushing the stroller to the door and Jack grabbed hold of the bottom of it and lift it down and the bus drove off and I sighed. "Thank you." I said looking at Jack who looked at me confused, "For defending me back there." I stated, "It meant a lot." I added.
"No problem, I let you get enough abuse of people whilst you were pregnant, theres no way in hell I'm gonna let it happen again, to you or to Kaitlyn." He said and I smiled.
"Thanks." I said and he smiled and put an arm around my shoulder pulling me into a side hug,
"No worries." He said and I smiled as we started walking, we arrived at the hospital where the appointment is and waited to be called by our doctor, Dr Watson, once she called us in she did some routine checks on Kaitlyn.
"So, I see you've named her, Kaitlyn Amelia Brewer." She said smiling and I nodded, "And I'm guessing your the father." She said to Jack.
"Yes, I'm Jack Brewer," He said and she shook him hand,
"Okay, everything seems to be okay, I just need to do a quick check." She said and looked at Kaitlyns arms & legs ect, and I notted my eyebrows in confusion.
"What are you doing?" I asked confused.
"I have a report that says I have to check for bruises." She stated.
"Wait what? Why?" Jack asked confused.
"Well when we have a case like this we have to take extra pracautions to protect the child." She explained.
"What do you mean a case like this?" I asked.
"When social services are involved." She stated.
"What?!" Me & Jack said shocked.
Short I know, sorry, next one is longer, and sorry I didn't upload yesterday, but I have good news, my cousin Nikita gave birth less than 2 hours ago, my little cousin/niece Olivia is here! x arrhh! So happy
