Chapter 17 - Family Day Out
Kim's POV - Saturday - 9am - August 31st
"Kim, come on already." Jack said coming up the stairs and into my room.
"I'm coming, I just needed to pack the baby bag," I stated, today we're going to the beach, and I'm wearing a black bikini with silver spots on it, underneath my white short shorts, and pink of the shoulder top, and my black flip flops, my hair was straight and in a pony tale, I put my phone, purse, pacifier (Kaitlyns), sun block, towel, and sunglasses in my beach bag, and packed Kaitlyns things into her baby bag, I walked into Kaitlyns room and changed her into a red Minnie the mouth swim suit, white floral skirt and a red cardigan, as well as some baby sandals, I put on her sun block, and on a red hat, I smiled and handed her to Jack who carefully put her into her car seat and we walked downstairs, my dad handed me some money as Jack strapped the car seat into Shaun's car as Shaun folded up the wrest of the stroller and put it into the boots, and we got into the car, me in the back seat with Kaitlyn, It took about 45 minutes to get there, and we said goodbye to Shaun and Jack strapped the car seat into the stroller and I put the bags into the bottom of the stroller and we started walking, as Jack pushed the stroller,
"Lets head to the beach," Jack said and we walked down the sand after taking out shoes of and put out some towels for us to sit on, Jack took of his shirt leaving him in his swim trunks, and took Kaitlyn out of the stroller and undressed her down into her swim suit and he lay down with Kaitlyn on his chest and I smiled, I took of my shorts and shirt and looked back at Jack who was looking at me, well more like checking me out.
"Enjoying the view?" I smirked.
"Just as much as you were when I took of my shirt, I'm only returning a favour," He said and I blushed sitting down next to him, "Although I will admit, You cant even tell you were pregnant," He stated.
"Yeah well, It helps she was a small baby, didn't really get very big did I, and me getting back into Karate & Gymnastics helped me loose the remaining bit of baby weight," I explained and he nodded sitting up holding Kaitlyn into his chest,
"Well Mama, looks pretty damn gorgeous doesn't she Kaitlyn," He said to her and she smiled as I giggled, and he looked at me and smiled,
"What?" I asked confused.
"You should do that more often." He said,
"What?" I asked even more confused.
"Giggle, it's cute." He stated and I smiled whilst blushing, "Whilst looking like a tomato." He joked and I shoved him softly,
"Shut up, I'm not used to compliments, all I ever get is insults." I stated and he frowned.
"Yeah, sorry about that, It was my fault, It I had supported you from when I found out you were pregnant that wouldn't of happened." He stated looking down at Kaitlyn, I moved closer and put my arm on his shoulder leaning my head on it,
"Its okay, it made me stronger at the end of the day, and more determined to be a better mother to this one." I said smiling at Kaitlyn.
"Well if you ask me, from what I've seen, you're the most amazing mother in the world, I couldn't ask for a better one for my daughter." He said and I smiled when I felt him kiss my forehead,
"Thank you, and to be honest, out of all the guys I know, I'm glad that your Kaitlyns dad, I think I would of murdered anyone else by now." I stated and he chuckled against my forehead and planted another kiss on it,
"Well we make a good team, you, me & Kaitlyn." He said and I looked at him and smiled,
"Yeah, we do." I said nodding.
Jack's POV
"Right, I'm gonna go for a swim, that okay?" I asked Kim who with Kaitlyn leaning against her stomach.
"Should we watch daddy swim?" She asked Kaitlyn who smiled and I laughed and went out into the ocean.
Kim's POV
I watched as Jack swam around for a bit and I held Kaitlyn up high and kissed her cheek, I smiled as Jack headed back over to us, only to be stopped by 4 girls our age who started flirting, and I don't know why but I felt a churning feeling in my stomach.
Jack's POV
"Hi what's your name?" A brunette girl said to me and I didn't want to be rude so I answered.
"Jack," I said politely.
"That's a sexy name, I'm Beatrice." A red headed girl said waving flirtatiously at me.
"Hi, I'm Dana-Lynn." A Black haired girl said smiling as she winked at me.
"Hi, I'm Alektra." A ginger headed girl said taking a step forward.
"I'm Mariana." The Brunette said smiling a big smile.
"So, what are you doing at the beach cutie?" Dana-Lynn said smiling.
"Um, I'm here with someone, so I best get-" I got cut off by Alektra grabbing my hand.
"Wanna come hang with us, we can show you a very good time." She smirked and I pulled my hand away from her.
"Sorry, but I'm not interested." I said and quickly walked around them and to Kim & Kaitlyn, I picked up a towel and dried my hair a little putting it around my neck and politely taking Kaitlyn of Kim and kissing her cheek, I smiled as she snuggled up to my neck and I saw the 4 girls looking at me & Kim.
"What did them girls want?" Kim asked and I thought I could sense a bit of jealousy in her voice but ignored it.
"To apparently, show me a good time." I said rolling my eyes, "But I told them I wasn't interested," I added and she nodded stroking Kaitlyn's cheek and I smiled kissing Kait's forehead.
Kim's POV
"She's so perfect." I stated smiling as Kaitlyn put her hand around my finger,
"I have to say we made one hell of a beautiful baby." Jack said and I smiled nodding.
"Even if I cant even remember her being conceived," I joked.
"Really?" Jack asked surprised.
"Yeah, I cant remember, its a complete blur, after the first 4 sips of vodka." I stated.
"Idiotic 14yr olds we were, sometimes I still cant believe we acted so stupid, yet we got something we would never regret out of it." Jack explained and I nodded.
"I just keep wondering if, it was stupid having a child so young, I mean if I think about it, If when I'm older, and I have more kids, how old is Kaitlyn gonna be, I don't want to be like 30 when I have more kids, I want Kaitlyn to have siblings close to her age, but it's impossible, because by the time Kait's 5, I'll be 20," I stated and Jack nodded in understandment.
"To be honest, I always thought that I would be married in my mid 20's when I had a baby, but at the end of the day, I'm glad that we had Kaitlyn, because even if it didn't happen now but in a few years we had a baby, it wouldn't be our Kaitlyn, or even if we had never slept together, Kaitlyn would of never been born," He explained and I nodded.
"I know what you mean, I cant imagine not knowing her, not having her." I said and he nodded kissing Kaitlyn,
"Imagine what our lives would be like now, I think my biggest worry would be, winning Karate tournaments." Jack said and I smiled.
"I think my biggest worry would be, what to wear to school," I stated and he chuckled.
"What time is it?" Jack asked and I looked at my iPhone,
"12 O'clock, wanna go get some lunch." I said and he nodded and I stood up and started packing things into the stroller, I slip on my shorts and sandals, and took Kaitlyn of jack who slip on his shirt as I strapped Kaitlyn into her stroller, and we walked back of the beach and headed towards the café 15 minutes away, once we arrived we sat down and looked at the menu. "I'm gonna go change Kaitlyn." I said and headed to the bathroom, I changed Kaitlyn's nappy and walked back out sitting down with her in my seat,
"I made her bottle, want me to feed her whilst you look at what you want?" Jack asked and I nodded handing her to him, he fed her as I looked at the menu, when I decided what I wanted the waitress came over.
"Hi I'm Tammy, I'll be your server today, what can I get you sexy." She said to Jack flirtatiously.
"Um, can I have a tuna & mayo sandwich and a coke." He said ignoring her flirtatious look,
"Anything else you want with that?" She asked smiling and he shook his head whilst looking at Kaitlyn rocking her to sleep. I cleared my throat making Jack & Tammy to look at me,
"I'll have a chicken, bacon & mayo sandwich with a Fanta no ice." I stated smiling a fake smile at her.
"Fine." She said glaring at me, and storming away,
"Well somebody was jealous." Jack stated and I nodded.
"I know right." I said looking at Tammy who was glaring at me.
"I meant you." He smirked and I looked at him,
"Excuse me, I was not jealous," I stated and he rose an eyebrow at me like he didn't believe me. "I wasn't." I stated.
"Kimmy come on, you don't have to lie to me." He said.
"I'm not lying, I wasn't jealous Jack." I said and he smiled nodding, after a minute Tammy came back with our drinks, except mine had ice in. "Excuse me, I said no ice, this has ice." I said and she glared at me even more.
"Sorry about that, let me fix it." She said putting her hand into my drink and pulling out the ice and putting it in my hand, "There ya go." She added smiling.
"Tamila!" The manager said angrily as he walked over, "I'm so sorry madam, " He said taking the ice out of my hand and picking up my drink, "Your food and drinks are on the house, Tammy come with me." He said and walked away, he came back with a new drink for me a minute later.
"That was weird." Jack said and I nodded as he put Kaitlyn into her car seat as she slept, I covered her up with her pink blanket.
Jack's POV - 2 hour Later
"So, its 2 and My dad isn't picking us up till 7, we have another 5 hours to kill, what do you want to do?" I asked Kim, who looked deep in thought,
"Um, we can go to the pier," She said and I nodded and we started walking there, getting ice-cream on the way, which Kim insisted on paying for so I let her, off course I put the money in her purse without her knowing, anyway, we got to the pier and Kim took Kaitlyn on a few rides which she loved, we stayed at the pier for another 2 hours before going back to the beach and walking on the top of it, and we saw some people painting on the walls and smiled,
"Should we take Kaitlyn nearer to the water?" I asked Kim who nodded and we asked a women who was there with her husband and kids if she could keep an eye on our stuff for us which she said yes to pleasantly, I took of my shirt and shoes as Kim took of her shorts and sandals and I took Kaitlyn and walked into the water until it reached my waist and hadn't touched Kaitlyn, "Come on!" I exclaimed to Kim who walked into the water and over to us,
"Do you like it here?" She asked Kaitlyn who smiled moving her hand towards Kim who grabbed onto it and kissed it, I moved down little so Kaitlyn's feet just about touched the water and she cooed, I smiled and kissed her cheek and handed her to Kim who did the same, she cradled Kaitlyn into her chest and I smiled as a piece of Kim's hair fell out of her bun and framed her face perfectly, I watched as she smiled the smile that reached her eyes, and the red tint in her cheek and the shine in her gorgeous hazel eyes- Whoa, where did that come from? Another piece of hair fell out of the bun and fell into her face, she tried to move it with her forearm but failed, I walked closer to her and used my right hand to push the piece behind her ear and stroked her cheek for a moment as she smiled at me with the tint on her cheeks going darker, I smiled leaning forward and kissed her cheek, pulling back just a little bit so our faces were close to each other, I noticed Kim gulp at the distance between us, her eyes darting down to my lips as did mine to hers, I leaned closer putting my hand around her waist and tilted my head a little as our lips almost touched when we got splashed.
"Hey, no PDA!" A boy around our age joked with his friends and I pulled away from Kim and glanced at him as he laughed, I sighed as Kaitlyn cooed attracting both mine & Kim's attention, and we chuckled,
"Maybe, we should, go." Kim said and I nodded as we walked out of the pool and thanked the women who was looking after our things, I grabbed a towel and dried myself, the put a shirt on and took Katy of Kim who dried herself and put on her shorts and pink shirt and sandals, She re-tied her hair as I dressed Kaitlyn and put her pink fluffy cardigan on as it was getting cold, I put her into the car seat as Kim packed up our things and put them into the bag as she picked up the car seat as I picked up the bottom of the stroller part, we walked up to the side walk and I put the car seat into the stroller and Kim put everything in the bottom of it, and we began walking around,
Kim's POV - 7pm
Me & Jack were walking to where we're gonna meet Niall when a little boy around 3 ran into my legs.
"Wow, you okay?" I asked him as he looked up at me, he had blonde hair and hazel eyes,
"Oopsie, sowwy pwetty lady." He said and I smiled.
"Its okay sweetie." I said.
"Kian Fountain! What have I told you about letting go of mummy's hand," A women's voice said and I looked up and saw a blonde hair, hazel eyed women who looked extremely familiar, "I am so sorry, kids never listen-" She said and looked at me and froze, "Kim." She stated as I looked at her in shock.
"Kim, who is this?" Jack asked me,
"Its my..." I started, "Its my mother."
Whoa! Bet you didn't expect that ending, figured I might bring Kim's mother into it, you will find out in the next few chapters, the back story of what happened, and who liked the KICK moment in the ocean? I Did, loved writing that out, and also I just wanted to point out that someone sent me a PM, of all the worlds I keep spelling wrong, and I want to say, I'm sorry if I misspell some stuff, I have been working through it now, but every one makes mistakes, but one of the words they said I kept miss spelling was 'Mummy', they were saying how it annoys them, and how I should writer correct English and spell it Mommy, and I will nicely respond saying, in England, we spell Mommy, Mummy, and we spell Mom, Mum! Its just how we spell it, and I do know how to speak English, It doesn't annoy me when people spell it Mommy, because that is what a lot of people do, but just because I don't spell it like that, and I spell it how I'm pretty sure every person in the UK spells it, don't go of in a tiffy! thank you xx
