Chapter 19 - Back To School

Kim's POV - Monday - 7am - September 2nd

Today is my first day back at school since Kaitlyn was born, I havent seen Jack since saturday night after the kiss, because he had to go somewhere with his dad for a bit, so today is also my first day seeing him since the kiss, which I can't stop thinking about, Anyway enough talking, I got up, had a quick shower, and bathed and changed Kaitlyn, I went to my closet and got dressed into white short shorts, a white sleeveless top that was loose and showed bits of my bra under my arms but that was it, I put on a pink & white baseball Jacket that fit just perfectly, and some pink converse, I put on a silver chain that said Kim in diamantes, and put on my bracelet that said Kaitlyn in diamante's, I put on my silver stuff earrings and curled the bottom of my hair and smiled at my reflection, I walked into Kait's room and dressed her in a white top with pink circles on it, red tights, and an denim dress to go over the top, I put on some baby shoes and smiled, and walked downstairs with her after grabbing my school bag,

"Okay so, It's Phoebe's week off, so She said she'll babysit Kaitlyn for the week to give us time to find a baby sitter," I explained placing Kaitlyn in the stroller and packing everything she needed into her baby bag with I placed around the stroller, and looked at my dad.

"Okay, now you just, go to school and learn okay, no looking at boys and gossiping about boys." Dad told me sternly,

"Dad, you will be glad to know that I am done with boys for the next 5-6 years," I stated causing him to smile and Alicia to hit him on the arm.

"Thats great- I mean now come on Kimmy dont talk like that." He said and just I cringed when he said Kimmy because of the fact that Kirsty called me that yesterday, "Whats wrong?" he asked me.

"Nothing, anyway, I better go," I said and grabbed my bag and walked outside with Kaitlyn, I walked over to the Brewer house and knocked on the door and Shaun answered.

"Heya Kim, come in." He said and I pushed the stroller inside.

"Oh there she is, the little angel." Phoebe said smiling as she picked up Kaitlyn and gave her a kiss, "Are we gonna have fun today, yes we are, yes we are." She said smiling as did me & Kaitlyn,

"Right, everything she needs is in this bag," I said patting the baby bag and she nodded,

"Dont worry, we'll be fine, you just go and have fun at school." She said.

"Is that possible," I joked,

"I know, and if Lindsay says anything to ya, just tell her where to stick it," She added and I smiled whilst nodding,

"Right well, I'll be off." I said and started to walk when she stopped me,

"Hang on, you might as well wait for Jack, he'll be down in a minute," She said just as footsteps came down the stairs and it was Jack, he grabbed hold of his back pack and smiled at Kaitlyn,

"Hello princess." He said and kissed her on the cheek and she smiled, "Right, school." He said and we walked out, we started walking to the bus stop in an awkward silence, "So..." He said,

"So..." I said not really knowing what to say.

"Look Kim, I dont want things to be awkward for us, I mean, we go to the same school, we see each other all the time because of Kaitlyn, I dont want it to get weird because of the kiss, I mean we had sex for gods sake and it didnt get weird, and if you want to forget the kiss, then I totally understand, but if not..." He trailed off as we came to a stop at the bus stop.

"Thats the thing Jack, I dont know whether or not I want to forget it, It's just really complicated, and my lifes already complicated enough, I just dont want to add anymore drama into my life," I explained and he nodded, "I just need some time to thing about what I actually want." I added,

"I understand, just tell me when your ready and we'll take it from there." He said smiling and I smiled back, but that smile fell when I spotted Lindsay walking over with some girls called Lorie & Heather,

"Oh look what we have here girls, its the happy parents, how teenage parenthood treating ya," She smirked.

"A lot better than dating you was." Jack stated and her smirk dropped as the bus arrived, "Come on," He said putting his hand on my back to lead me infront of him, we got on the bus and showed out bus passes, and sat down, Eddie, Milton, Jerry & his step sister Kelly Lewis were already on, so we sat with them, after a few more stops the bus packed up and Grace, Kelsey & Julie had gotten on,

"So, how's Kaitlyn?" Kels asked smiling, she's obsessed with Kaity.

"She's okay, she's with Jack's mum today." I said and she smiled,

"She is the cutest baby ever," Julie said smiling and me & Jack smiled.

"Yeah and how's the proud father doing?" Milton asked Jack smiling,

"He hasnt stopped going on about how adorable Kaitlyn is since last monday," Eddie told me and I smiled,

"I'm good, great actually, I get to be in my daughters life and I'm free of Lindsay, life couldnt be better," He explained causing me to smile more.

"Until you have to go to school." Eddie said sighing as the bus pulled up outside school and we all go off and had to go our seperate ways.

"Ready to face the inside of the schools halls that you havent been in for what, 3 months." Grace said and I sighed.

"As ready as I'll ever be," I said as we walked inside and everyone stopped talking and looked at me & Grace,

"Awkward." Grace mumbled and I nodded as we walked down the hall, "Sorry but my lockers here." Grace said and I nodded and carried on walking trying to ignore all the stares I was getting and I reached my locker freezing on the spot when I saw someone had taped a piece of paper to my locker with SLUT! writen across it, I could immediately tell from the hand writing it was Lindsay and I sighed funning a hand through my hair, a hand pulled the piece of paper of angrily and I looked and saw Jack, he screwed it up and tossed it into a bin and looked at me,

"Come on, get your stuff." He added leaning against the locker next to mine and I sighed opening my locker, I swabbed my books around igoring the stares I could feel in the back of my head and shut my locker.

'This is gonna be a long day'

So, Jack seems to be a bit protective of Kim doesn't he, and I know most of ya'll must hate me for not getting Kim & Jack together, but I promise, It'll happen soon enough! xx
