Chapter 20 - Back In Town

Kim's POV - Lunch

After the bell in history rang I walked towards my locker and put my books away when I felt presence by me, I looked and saw one of the school quarterbacks, Brad Philips, smirking whilst checking me out,

"Can I help you?" I asked him,

"Yes, I was just wondering, you, me, date, Saturday night?" He said smirking and checked me out once again, "And Sunday morning," He winked and I rolled my eyes in annoyance,

"Brad, just leave her alone alright," A voice said and I turned to see Brett James, another quarterback, "She doesn't want to go out with you, so go." He added.

"Fine, James, you can have the bird this one time," He said and winked at me once more before walking away,

"Sorry about him." Brett added and I sighed nodding.

"Its fine." I said and he smiled a little,

"Hey, I just want you to know that, I think your awesome, what your doing, owning up to your responsibility's, I bet your one of the best mothers out there." He said and I smiled.

"Thanks." I said and he smiled,

"Anyway, I just wanted to say that so, I'll see you in English," He said smiling and walked away.

"What did he want?" A voice asked causing me to jump and I turned and faced Jack,

"Damn it Jack, you almost gave me a heart attack," I said,

"Sorry, but seriously, what did he want?" He asked glaring in the direction Brett went,

"nothing, just to say hey," I said,

"I don't like that guy." He added and I rolled my eyes.

"You don't even know him." I said,

"I know him enough, he's a bad guy, he does everything he can to sleep with a girl, then drops her the next day." He stated.

"Oh you mean like what you did to me." I said raising my eyebrows at him and his face softened,

"You know that's not what happened." He said,

"It kinda is, but it doesn't matter, that's in the past, it doesn't matter, like everything Brett did was in the past, but anyway, why does it count, it's not like I'm gonna sleep with him is it." I said as I grabbed my bag from my locker and closed it, "Anyway, it's lunch, so come on, I'm starving." I stated tugging on his arm and we walked to the cafeteria, I sat down next to Julie ignoring all the stares I was getting,

"So how's it been so far?" Eddie asked me.

"Annoying, I don't get it, people got over the fact that I was pregnant after a while, but then when I give birth I've back in the spotlight," I stated.

"Its because you decided to keep Kaitlyn," Kelsey said rolling her eyes,

"So what, Its my business, Its not like me being a mum is gonna change any of their lives." I said and she nodded in understandment.

"Yeah but you know what high schools like, one persons business is everyone's business," Grace said.

"Its idiotic," Milton said and I sighed.

"Yeah well, I cant wait for this day to be over," I said eating my lunch,

Jack's POV - After School

"Later." I said to the guys when me and Kim got of the bus and it drove away, we began walking through the streets,

"Finally, its over!" She exclaimed and I chuckled,

"Right well, my mum said she's in the pub with Kaitlyn, so.." I told her and she nodded,

"Hey looks like someone's moving into the house next door to Katie Macey's house." She said pointing and I looked over and saw a removal truck, and a car,

"Hmm, looks like it," I said curiously.

"Anyway, pub, come on." She said and we walked into the pub, We saw mum sat down with Kaitlyn in her lap, and she was talking to Milton's mum, Melinda, whilst Lorna, Amelia, Buster and Milton's 9yr old brother Wilbur,

"Hey Ma." I said and she looked at us.

"Hey Jack, Kim, how was school?" She asked us smiling.

"Terrible." Kim said and she frowned, "Heya there misses," She said in a baby voice to Kaitlyn who smiled, "Come to mama," She said and picked her up giving her a kiss as she sat on one of the 2 empty chairs and I sat on the other, "We're you a good girl for Gam Gam, Yeah." She said and smiled as Kaitlyn smiled and looked at me, "Wanna go to Dada? Yeah, go to dada." She said handing Kaitlyn to me and I smiled, "I'll be right back, going to the restroom." She said and walked into the toilets.

"Hello Princess." I said to Kaitlyn smiling and she smiled and put her hand on my face and I smiled as I played with her for a few minutes when I heard Kim walk out of the restroom and say..

"What the hell are you doing here?!" Annoyed, I looked up at her confused and followed her gaze and froze when I saw, Kirsty, her mother.

"Kimmy," Kirsty said smiling.

"Dont call me that, infact dont call me anything!" She hissed, by now everyone in the pub was looking at her, "What are you doing here?!" She asked annoyed.

"Me & Steven just bought a house here, we're moving in today." She explained.

"Excuse me! You have got to be kidding me, how did you know where I lived?" She asked annoyed.

"I spoke to your aunt Sarah." She stated.

Kim's POV

"She also told me that your daughter was called Kaitlyn Amelia Brewer." She added gesturing to Jack and Kaitlyn.

"Well she had no right, And why would you call her anyway, no one has even heard from you in 6yrs." I stated,

"Right girls, Justin, want drink do you want?" Dad asked walking in with Alicia, Justin, Kaylie & Kiara, not noticing her, stood there.

"Hello Jason." She said causing my dad to freeze and he looked at her glaring.

"Kirsty, what the hell do you think your doing here, Kim?" He asked.

"Seems like I have stalker dad, she wont leave me alone!" I hissed to her.

"Look all I want it to see my daughters." Kirsty explained.

"We are not your daughters!" I said and heard a few people start whispering, "You lost your daughters 6yrs ago." I stated.

"Kim." Kiara said and walked over to me, "Who is this lady?" She asked me confused and I wrapped my arm around her shoulder,

"Nobody Kiara." I stated glaring at my mother,

"Kiara, you've grown so much since I last saw you," She said.

"Well off course she has, the last time you saw her, she was 4 months old," Kaylie hissed as she walked over to me & Kiara,

"Kay, look at you." She smiled.

"Dont call me that, only my family can call me Kay, and you are not my family." She stated.

"Girls come on, we're going home," Dad stated and the girls walked over to him, Alicia & Justin, "Kim?" He said.

"Yeah, I'll meet you there, just gotta get all of Kaitlyns things," I said and he glared at her one last time then walked out, I glared at her then walked over to Jack, taking Kaitlyn and putting her into the stroller, I put everything away ignoring her as she tried to talk to me.

"Kim, Come on," She said touching my arm which I pulled away,

"No!" I exclaimed, "Stay the hell away from me, my sisters and expecially, my daughter!" I exclaimed and pushed the stroller out of the pub, I hurried over to behind the church and leaned against the wall so I was hidden from view, I sighed as I lowered myself down with my back against the wall and the stroller next to me,

"Hey." A voice said and I looked up and saw Jack, "You okay?" He asked and I shook my head as I started crying, he sat down next to me and wrapped his arms around me as I cried,

"I just dont u-un-understand, w-why she h-had to come b-back n-n-now after a-all this t-time." I said crying and he gently rubbed my back,

"I know, come on." He said into my ear sending shivers down my spine, "Come on, you've got a lot to worry about now, just forget about her for time being, lets just focus on Kaitlyn, okay, you and me, from now on we focus on Kaitlyn, she's the most important thing in all of this right." He said and I nodded, "See, so we'll just focus on Kaitlyn," He said and kissed my forehead.
