Chapter 24 - Official First Date
Jack's POV
"Knock knock." I said walking into my dad's house and saw him in the kitchen and my grandparents sat down on the couch,
"Hey Jackson," Grandpa said as I pulled in the stroller with my baby girl in it, "Well what do we have here," He asked smiled when he saw Kaitlyn, after all, she is his first Great-Granddaughter,
"My dad said he'd look after Kaitlyn for the day," I explained,
"Why did Kim get tired of looking after her," Grandma said blankly,
"Actually, I asked Kim to go on a date with me today, and she didnt even know I had asked my dad until now," I stated,
"A date, why would you go on a date with her Jackson, she's nothing but a whore," She exclaimed looking at me,
"How is she a whore grams?" I asked confused,
"She had a baby at 15!" She exclaimed,
"So did I, does that mean I'm a whore," I stated,
"Off course not!" She exclaimed again,
"Well neither is Kim okay! So stop being mean to her for no apparent reason, she has done nothing wrong so leave her alone," I said raising my voice,
"Dont you dare speak to me like that young man!" She stated,
"Aslong as you keep being mean to Kim, I will, if you dont leave her alone Grams, I promise, you will never see Kaitlyn again," I warned,
"Why, who's gonna stop me, her?!" She scoffed,
"No, me! I'll make sure of it, because if you cant except Kim, you cant except my daughter, and I wont have Kaitlyn being raising around people who think its alright to disrespect her mother!" I said annoyed and she scared gobsmacked and I looked at my dad who didnt seem bothered, "Anyway, Here's the bag filled with all of the things she needs, she has some bottles in there and she's due one in about half an hour, and a nap right after, and another nap around 2-ish, me & Kim will pick her up around 8-9-ish," I said and he nodded,
"Dont worry, you just go have fun," He said smiling and I kissed Kaitlyn before I walked home,
Kim's POV - 1pm
"So when is Jack picking you up?" Grace asked me looking through my clothes,
"He said he'll be here by 7," I explained,
"What! That only give us 6 hours to prepare Kim, you go have a shower now, I want you out of there in dead on half an hour tops, I want you completely clean, and then we'll start on your hair," Kelsey said pushing my into the bathroom and I sighed before undressing an hopiing into the shower
Jack's POV
"So, where are you taking Kim?" Shaun asked me,
"Cant say, but lets just put it this way, its where Kaitlyn first began," I stated and he nodded,
"Nice, but your not planning on doing anything are you?" He asked me cautiously,
"No, not for a really long time," I said and he nodded,
"Good." He said,
Kim's POV - 4pm
"Okay, so your hair is looking gorgeous, so you can look," Kelsey said and I opened my eyes and smiled, she dried and curled my hair to perfection and it looks amazing,
"Now with your make-up." Julie said smiling and I rolled my eyes then closed them, "Put on a little bit of eye shadow, some lip gloss, blusher, concealer ad mascara and amazing!" She said and I opened my eyes and stared in the mirror in shock,
"How did you do that so fast?" I asked her,
"Its a gift," She smirked, she put
"Okay, now with your clothes, lets see, um, you could wear that black studded strapless chiffon dip hem dress I got you for your birthday?" Grace suggested and I nodded smiling, "right go get changed," She said and I did what she asked, "Now with shoes," She said.
Jack's POV - 6pm
"I've gotta go get everything sorted, I'll see you later," I said and walked out of the house quickly and started placing everything,
Kim's POV - 7pm
I stood infront of the mirror smiling, Grace settled on some black heeled booties with see through tights and my black leather jacket ontop, I smiled looking out the window and saw all the sun setting and the stars and moon were coming out, when my phone buzzed, and I picked it up and saw a text off Jack.
From: Jack
Message: Go behind the church for your journey to begin, when you see the path, follow it, to where you need to be..
"Thats odd." I said and Grace, Julie & Kelsey looked at me,
"What?" Kels asked and I handed her my phone,
"Go behind the church for your journey to begin, when you see the path, follow it to where you need to be, Hmm." She red,
"Well, do as he says then," Grace said and we all walked downstairs,
"You look nice, where you off?" Dad asked,
"She's going out with-" I elbowed Grace, "Ow!" She hissed,
"Us, she means us, I'm going out with them for a dinner, Niall's looking after Kaitlyn," I said, Half true,
"Why isnt Jack looking after her?" Alicia asked confused,
"He's gone out with some friends for someone's birthday," I lied, "Anyway, we best get going, come on!" I said and pulled them out the door quickly,
"What was that about?" Julie asked as we begin walking, "I dont want my dad to know yet, if he does, he'll start assuming things, he only just got around the fact that I have a baby with Jack, if he knows that we're going on a date, he start thinking we're doing other stuff," I said and she nodded,
"Oh uh," Grace said nudging me and I saw Lindsay walking towards us,
"What are you all dressed up for? Isnt that a bit to much clothes for a slut," She stated,
"I'm not in the mood Lindsay," I said rolling my eyes,
"Awe, is someone a bit grumpy since they couldnt get any sleep last night?" She mocked in a baby voice,
"Look whatever, I'm gonna be late, I'll see you guys later," I said directing the end of my sentence to my friends and walked away.
Grace's POV
"Where she going? I didnt know that mummy could actually have a life," Lindsay stated,
"She's going on a date, as a matter of fact," I said smiling,
"Oh yeah, what guy would be desperate to go on a date with her," She scoffed,
"Jack, as a matter of fact," Julie smirked and Lindsay's smile dropped,
"What?!" She exclaimed,
"You heard, Jack asked Kim out on a date, It's about time if you ask me, I mean, to have sex with someone, and to lose your virginity to them, they obviously had something between them or that wouldnt of happened, and now they finally get to be happy for a change," Kelsey said,
"Oh please, as if Jack would actually like her of all people, I dont know if you remember, but Jack loves me," She smirked,
"Yeah, thats why he lost his virginity to Kim & not to you, and why he chose Kim & Kaitlyn, over you, he defo loves you," I said the last part sarcastictly, "Come on girls, lets go," I said and we walked away,
Kim's POV
I walked behind the church and breath hitched with what I saw, there was rose petals on the floor leading somewhere, I dont know how they managed to stay there considering its a little windy but its amazing, I smiled and walked along the path until it let up to the place where me & Jack conceived Kaitlyn, I walked up the steps of the shack or cabin or whatever it is and saw the rose petals leading me to the front door, but before I could follow it I felt presence behind me as arms wrapped around my waist,
"You look amazing..." Jack's voice whispered in my ear sending shivers down my spine which, I'm positive he felt,
"Thanks," I whispered as he moved round to my front and looked at me smiling,
"Come on.." He whispered and pulled my hand towards the door, "Close your eyes," He said and I nervously did and I felt him guide me through the now open door and then shut it behind us, I felt him directly behind me when he whispered, "Open," And I did, I gasp when I saw that he had put a table & chairs in the middle of the room, with a candle in the middle of it, and candles all around the actual room and by the window sills, I saw he had a battery oberated ipod docking station by one of the windows and had some soft music playing from his ipod, I noticed there was rose petals around the table and a tray with a lid on so I could see the food, and some cushions on the floor with 2 blankets, one laid out beneath the cushions and his laptop,
"Jack," I said breathlessly,
"Do you like it?" He asked nervously and I shook my head,
"No," I said and I saw his face drop, "I love it," I said turned to look at him, "I cant believe you did all this," I said smiling,
"Your worth it," He said sweetly and I blushed, "Come on, lets eat," He said pulling me over to the table,
