Chapter 26 - Christmas Day
Kim's POV - 3 Months & 3 weeks Later - 23rd December 2013
Its been dead on 3 months & 3 weeks since Jack & I started dating, Kaitlyn is now almost 5 months old, and she is the cutest baby in the world, she's now making a lot more sounds and when I sing to her, she tries to sing along, and she's now on a schedule.
9am - Awake & Breastfeed
11am - Nap (1 1/2 hours)
12:30pm - Awake & Breastfeed
3pm - Nap
4:30 - awake & Breastfeed
7pm - Nap (45 Minutes)
7:45pm - Bath, Pajamas
8pm - Breastfeed
And she's stayed a Jack's quite a lot the pass few months, although I havent, me & Jack have still decided to wait before anything goes to the 'next level'
"Hey!" Jack said walking into my bedroom at half 12 as I was breastfeeding Kaitlyn,
"Jack!" I exclaimed trying to cover my right breast,
"What, It's nothing I havent seen before," He winked as I put a blanket over me so he couldnt see,
"Shut up," I said to him and he smiled giving me a kiss on the lips smiling and I smiled as Kaitlyn finished feeding and I covered myself back up so he wouldnt see anything and then removed the blanket and handed Kaitlyn to Jack who smiled and kissed her,
"Hello there baby girl, do you know what day it is, its Christmas Eve Eve, yes it is," He told her and I smiled,
"1st Christmas with this little one," I said rubbing her back,
"And first christmas with us as an official couple," He said and sat at the top of my bed next to me leaning back and pulling me into his arms with Kaitlyn lay on his chest looking at me and I leaned my head into Jack's next smiling when he kissed my forehead, "And our first christmas, as a real family," He said and I smiled kissing Kaitlyn's head, "So, I was thinking about Christmas eve, and well Christmas morning," He said and I looked at him,
"What do you mean?" I asked him,
"Its just, It's Kait's first christmas, and I really dont wanna miss Christmas with her, or you for that matter," He said,
"What, so you want me & Kait to have Christmas at yours?" I asked him,
"Yeah, or here, I dont really know, I just, I wanna wake up christmas morning with you and Kaitlyn," He said nervously,
"Well, what if you spend christmas eve here, I mean, I'm sure my dad will understand, and I'm sure your mum will too," I said,
"Are you sure your dad will be okay?" He asked,
"Yeah, I'm sure of it, and we can have christmas dinner here, then christmas desert at yours?" I asked and he nodded smiling and gave me a kiss and we heard Kaitlyn giggle and smiled,
Jack's POV - Christmas Day
"Wakey wakey!" A little girls voice said running into Kim's bedroom, and I smiled opening my eyes seeing Kiara giggling, "Its christmas day!" She exclaimed as Kim opened her eyes also smiling,
"I'll get Kaitlyn," Kim said walking into the babies room,
"Come on Princess," I said picking up Kiara and walked downstairs with Kim who was holding Kaitlyn,
Kim's POV
"Who's next?" Alicia asked smiling picking up a present, "Its for Princess Kaitlyn," She smiled handing it to me as Kaitlyn giggled as she was sat on Jack's lap, I smiled opening Kaitlyn's gift to find a pair of black baby ugg boots,
"Whats this?" I asked Kaitlyn smiling as she tried to grab hold of the boots and I chuckled,
"Okay, Kim this is from Kaitlyn," Dad said smiling and I rolled my eyes chuckling and opened it to find a t-shirt saying 'Worlds Best Mama' and a sketched picture of me & Kaitlyn and I smiled,
Jack's POV
After opening the presents we all went to get dressed, I put Kaitlyn in her crib for a few minutes and went to the bathroom to change, I got back and Kim was dressed in black jeans, a teal tank top and a red christmas jumper with a picture of a snow man on it, and her hair straightened, and she was wearing her new army boots that her dad bought her, I smiled walking up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist pulling her back into my chest and she giggled placing her hands over mine and I smiled looking Kaitlyn who was sat leaning against the pillow, she was in a pair of black leggings, a red jumper saying my first christmas, and red socks with reindeers on.
"Well, don't my 2 girls look gorgeous," I said kissing Kim's temple,
"Well doesnt my boy look handsome," Kim mimicked and I smiled, "What time are we going round to your mothers for christmas dinner?" She asked,
"My mum said dinner will be ready at 6," I said and she nodded,
"Well, I need to start getting ready at 3," She said and I nodded, "Your mum bought the cutest dress for Kaitlyn to wear, you're gonna love it," She added,
Jason's POV
"Coming," I said walking to the front door and opened it to see Kirsty stood there, "What do you want?" I asked annoyed,
"I wanted to drop these off," She said holding up 3 bags filled with presents,
"What, you think you can buy the girls forgiveness?" I asked her,
"No, off course not," She said and sighed, "Look, I just want them to have these presents, if you want, dont tell them there from me, but just please, give them to the kids," She said and handed them to me, and walked away, I sighed shutting the door,
Jack's POV - 5:55pm
"Kim! Are you ready yet?" I asked Kim knocking on her door,
"Yeah, come in," She said and I opened the bedroom door and smiled, Kim was wearing a red skater dress with a black belt around the waist, black stiletto heels, and a black leather jacket, with her hair curled, with red lipstick and black mascara and eye liner.
"You look gorgeous baby," I said and she blushed putting her silver stud earrings in and putting on her diamond necklace I got her for Christmas, I walked over kissing her cheek, and looking at Kaitlyn who was wearing a red velvet dress and a black cardigan along with black shoes, "And look at my other gorgeous baby," I said picking up Kaitlyn and hugging her close to my chest as she smiled,
"Hey, so, I found something the other day, and I was thinking that, when we get back, we can sit down and watch it, when we're in your room," Kim said and I nodded, as she picked up her over night bag as well as everything that Kaitlyn will need,
"I dont think your gonna need them," I said to her referring to all of Kaitlyn's stuff,
"What do you mean?" She asked confused,
"You'll see, all we'll need is this," I said picking up Kaitlyn's teddy up and Kim nodded still a little confused as she put on her biker jacket and we walked downstairs,
Kim's POV
"Hey!" Jack said pushing the stroller into the Brewer house,
"Hey sweetie! Merry christmas!" Phoebe said hugging him and then me,
"How's my gorgeous granddaughter," Niall said picking Kaitlyn up as she squaled in delight,
"I'm gonna take these upstairs," Jack said reffering to my bag and and his things and I nodded as he walked upstairs, And Gabriella smiled at me,
"Hey, come here," She said motioning to the kitchen and I followed her and she handed me something wrapped up, "Jack's present you bought arrived, I've wrapped it up for ya," She said and I smiled,
"Thank you!" I said hugging her and putting the present into my handbag just as Jack came down the stairs,
Jack's POV - 11pm
"You ready?" I asked Kim as we stood outside my bedroom her holding a fast asleep Kaitlyn and she nodded, I opened the door and we walked in, her eyes immediately landed on the white crib with pink blankets in it that was against the wall at the bottom of my bed, next to that was a changing table that had everything Kaitlyn needed,
"Jack," She said speechlessed, "I cant believe you did this," She said smiling,
"Well I figured that it was about time I did this, she cant keep sleeping in a basinet when she's here now can she?" I asked rhitorically, and she smiled,
"Its amazing," She said smiling and I smiled as she carefully placed Kaitlyn into her crib and wrapped her up with her teddy, Mrs Snuggles, Kim turned and looked at me, "I have a present for you," She said going over to her handbag and taking out a wrapped rectacular shaped gift,
"What is it?" I asked and she smiled handing it to me,
"Find out," She said and I carefully unwrapped it and smiled when I saw what it was, it was a picture frame, the picture was of me & Kaitlyn that Kim took the other week, I was sat down leaning against the window shirtless, and Kaitlyn was lay on my chest smiling and I was smiling whilst kissing her forehead, but what caught my attention most, was the actual picture frame itself, it was clay type thing and it had a set of her handprints and a set of her foot prints and I smiled tracing over the wholes realised how little my little girl was, "What do you think?" Kim asked fidgiting with her hands, and I walked up to her and kissed her passionately, she gasp into my mouth but none the less wrapped her arms around my neck kissing back, after a few minutes we broke apart due to lack of oxygen and I rest my head against her forehead,
"This is amazing Kim, I cant thank you enough for doing this for me, and I cant thank you enough for giving me the most amazing gift in the world," I said glancing over to Kaitlyn's crib and Kim smiled as I kissed her forehead,
"Yeah well, I have another present for you," She smirked,
"I dont know what else you could give me to beat all of this," I said and she smiled taking a dvd out of her bag, I looked at her confused as she put it into my dvd player, and pulled me to lay down on the bed, I watched as she snuggled into my side pressing play, I was about to ask what it was when a light heart beat filled the room, I looked up at my tv and saw it was a sonogram video,
"I found it in a box in Kaitlyn's room, this is from the first sonogram that I had, I realised that you never got to hear her heartbeat, so, I wanted to make sure you could," She said and I smiled never taking my eyes of the screen,
"Okay, that, your laugh, and Kaitlyn's giggle are now my favorite sounds in the whole world," I said finally looking down at her and she smiled then giggled, "God I love you," I said and she stopped laughing and looked at me and I realised what I just said,
"What?" She asked,
"I love you, I love you so much, I love you so much that everytime I see you, I just want to kiss you, and when your not around, all I do is think about you and how I want to just hold you in my arms forever," I said looking into her eyes, "I love you," I repeated quietly,
"I love you too," She said also quietly and kissed me, I kissed back with every ounce of passion in my body, putting everything I feel for her into this kiss, knowing that she was doing the same.
sorry I haven't updated in a while, but a lot has happened, anyway, Since its been ages since I updated I'm uploading another chapter, which is a new years eve chapter, and then after c27, there is only 1 more chapter left, good news is I'm already workin on a sequel! xx
