And now a word from :

Hi everyone!

I'm Lizzy and I am the new guardian of C.A.M.3's fanfic The One. I am very excited to take up this story! Please feel free to give some ideas and suggestions because I do not want to suffer from writers block! I am picking up where C.A.M.3 left off so everything she had set will be the same like the wedding, parade, interview, one week before wedding and so on. This is my only fan fiction I have written but I promise I am a good writer, and I am passionate about Maxon and Americas love story.

So let's start this adventure back up!

I was sitting up on the convertible, headed to the parade. Maxon and I are about to go and see all the people a week before our wedding, with an interview after. I am starting to get nervous. What if an attack happens during the parade? Will we be safe?!

"Maxon I'm scared," I said in a small voice.

"Why are you scared darling?" Maxon said with deep concern.

"What if there is an attack during the parade?"

"There is no need to be afraid, I'm right here and I will let nothing happen to you,"

"But Maxon, I," I squeaked, fighting off a wave of tears.

"America, I will protect you with my life," he said cupping my cheeks.

"But what about you, I don't want you hurt," I said positive tears where streaming down my face.

"You don't need to worry about me," Maxon said placing his forehead against mine.

"That's my job, I am your fiancé after all," I said with a giggle escaping my lips.

"I love hearing you say that," Maxon said while sitting up straight, with a huge grin on his face.

"Say what?" I said smiling myself.

"Fiancé," he said while playing with a strand of hair that escaped my up-do.

"Fiancé, Fiancé, Fiancé," I said teasingly.

I was about to lean up and kiss him, until I heard a voice behind Maxon.

"You're Hines, It is time to depart for the parade," said one of the palace's guards.

"Very well," Maxon said letting out a sigh.

With that being said we were driving down the road to the gates, where thousands of people where standing cheering for our arrival. I was shocked to see all the members of the selection in convertibles waiting at the gates. I turned to Maxon and asked,

"What are they doing here?"

"Silvia insisted on having them be in the parade and stay for the wedding, I'm sorry for not telling you about it I just didn't want to worry you." Maxon said while stroking my cheek.

"It's ok; I'm fine with everyone but Celeste. What if she tries to ruin the wedding?" I said with a hint of anger in my tone.

"I won't let that happen, and if it does she will regret it. I will not let her ruin the best night of my life." Maxon said with anger and love in his face and tone.

"How do you know it will be the best night of your life, it hasn't happened yet," I said with a small smile.

"I get you in every way possible, you will be mine forever. "

"I already am," I said leaning to kiss him.

His hand found my hip and pulled me closer. I snaked my hand around his neck, deepening the kiss. I didn't even realize we were surrounded by thousands of people with hundreds of cameras flashing furiously. I felt a deep flush creep to my cheeks as a pulled away.

Two hours into the parade, I started to feel tired. All of the smiling, and waving wore me out. My eyes kept fluttering shut, and my eyelids felt heavy.

"Darling," Maxon said, "the parade is over in five minutes, and then you can go nap."

"I don't need a nap, I'm wide awake."

"Sure you are."

After the parade was over I climbed down from the convertible, fighting off sleep the best I could. Walking into the Palace with Maxon next to me, I headed up the grand staircase to the Princess Suite. Opening the door I sauntered over to my huge walk-in closet. Maxon went out and sat on the balcony as I changed into a sea foam green, short night gown. When I came out, Maxon's eyes became huge. I guess short apparel with my long legs makes him melt. Noted for the future. I went over to my soft bed and crawled under the covers.

"Stay with me?"

"Always."
