Hey y'all! Here's another one, don't worry, only a few more chapters then everything will go back to being Moonhaven and Leadmen again. So, hang in there Epic fans.
Anubis P.O.V.
What happen? All I can remember was a sharp pain in my abdomen and dragging Professor Bomba somewhere... But, where again?
I tried to open my eyes but they seemed to be on lock mode. After what feel like forever, I finally managed to open my eyes and look at my surroundings.
I was in a room. There was a little window facing the lava river. There was also a bathroom and some new clothes and the bed that I'm sleeping on. Four walls like a jail cell dominate the room and there was a door with a cloth hanger hanging both my jacket and supplies.
I was about to get up when a sharp pain ran through my hole body. With a loud groan, I finally gave up and lay back in bed. I looked down and saw my hole abdomen was bandaged up. What in the name of Ra happen?
I was about to try again when someone opened the door. It was Natasha. She looked tired and her ponytail was really messy. Her grey shirt and shorts are slightly wrinkled. Even how tired she looked, she still pulled on a smile.
"Hey. You ok?" She say as she entered the room. She was holding a tray. Some bandages and medicine were there and a cup full of some drink.
"Yeah, just a little headache. Notting more." I say as I smiled at her. "Good. Come on, I need to change you're bandages." She say as I let her do the work.
When she open the wound, I think I was about the scream. It look horrible! I better not describe it for you guys. Thrust me, it can scare you for life.
Anyway, Natasha didn't seem freaked out at all. She just cleaned the wound slightly and put some more medicine before rapping it up again. She seemed so calm, like this is a everyday routine or something.
After throwing away the old bandages she went to help me sit up. "You ok?" She ask as I nodded.
She handed me the cup on the tray and placed the straw into my mouth. The drink was really good. It taste like honey and nectar. When I finished the drink, warmness suddenly filled my body, giving me a new energy.
"Wow! That was good. What was it?" I ask as she gave me that smile that seemed to light up the world. "Nectar. I had some in my supplies dad gave me. It's not a lot so don't get wounded too much." She joked and I answered, "Yes, ma'am." And we both laughed.
The there was an awkward silence until I broke it. "So, do you have anyone else in your family besides you're mom and dad and Ronin?" I ask as she nodded.
"I have an older brother, Nod Tomson. I'm just worried about him. He can't stop causing trouble and I don't want to not be there when he gets into trouble again." She say in a broken voice I never heard before. I know how she sounds like when she was happy or something, but, heartbroken? I have never heard if before.
"Hey, it's gonna be ok. We will find Ronin's soul, bring him back into life, and everything can go back to normal." I tried to sound upbeat for her. She already loss a lot already. Both her parents and probably her father figure. I know how that feels, and I don't want her to be like this.
She smiled and looked at me. "Thanks. " she say as she hugged me. I hugged her back tightly. We were there for a few minutes when I suddenly say, "I love you,"
She looked up at me and asked, "Really?" And I nodded. Before I knew it, I already leaned forward and kissed her on the lips. Her lips were soft and I caught the smell of her sunflower and passion fruit shampoo and pulled her closer to me.
She was shocked at first but finally rapped her arms around my neck. We where there for a few minutes before we both let go. She leaned on my shoulder and I pulled her onto my bed.
She just toke off her shoes and place them next to mine and laid down on the bed. Clearly she was tired because her eyelids were heavy.
I chuckled at her before laying next to her, pulling her closer to me and whispered, "Go to sleep. When you wake up, I will still be here."
She nodded and went into deep sleep. Before she did, I caught the words she mumbled at me that made my the happiest man alive. "I love you too."
When I wake up, I saw Natasha still sleeping in my arms. I smiled at her and looked out the window. We clearly had pasted a few levers of the Duat because this place was different. Shadows were crawling on the wall. Some were villages and some were people crying for help.
I just sighed and looked down at her. She seemed so peaceful and I would never wanted to wake her up. But she has too, we are reaching our destination.
Slowly, i shake her and whisper, "Wake up, my love." She only pulled the covers higher and went back to sleep. I smiled at her and called her again. "Come on, time to get up."
She just mumbled, "Five more minutes, please." And went back to sleep again. I rolled my eyes at her and kissed her. She suddenly waked up but kissed me when she realized what had happen.
After a few seconds, I let go her and looked at her. "Good morning, Sleeping Beauty." I joked and she rolled her eyes at me. "Sure. Make fun of the tired girl." She say as I smirked at her.
"Aww, does little Natasha want a cuddle?" I joked as she grabbed the pillow and hit me. "Whatever. I'm going to the bathroom. After that, I'm going to change your bandages before we leave." She say as she pointed at me before heading towards the bathroom and slammed the door.
I rolled my eyes and went to a near by cupboard. I pulled out a random T-shirt. It was a black shirt with a skull and the name 'DeathEaters' was written in white. Behind the skull was on fire and it looks like it was going to pop up and attack you.
As I walk back to bed and set my shirt on the bed, Natasha came out of the bathroom. Her gray Osaka T-shirt and down shorts looked better, her ponytail was fix and she looked more energized.
After she helped me changed my bandages, I pulled on my shirt and leather jacket and combat boots before taking a glance at her.
She seemed more beautiful and I can stop staring at her as she laced up her sneakers and looked at me. "What are you looking at?" She asked as I smiled at her. "You. You look beautiful." I say as she looked out the window, blushing.
I smiled at her before walking up to her, rapping my arms around her waist. She placed her arms on mine as I laded my head on her shoulder.
"Come in, we are going to reach out destination soon. Better get ready." I say as I grabbed my bag and walked out the room. When Natasha came out of the room, I grabbed her hand and pulled her close to me.
"I love you, Natasha Tomson. And notting in the world can change that." I say as she rapped her arms around my back. "I love you too, Tarren Anubis Black." She say as I smiled at her and let her go.
"Just so you know," I say as I grabbed her hand and lead her towards the front of the boat. "Just because you're my new girlfriend, doesn't mean you can use my full name." I smirked at her and she rolled her eyes.
"Fine, dad." She joked as I pulled her closer to me. Now I am really the happiest man alive.
