Please tell me I'm not dreaming. I have a boyfriend! Not to mention a very cute one! Ok, relax...How can I?!
Anyway, enough of that. We finally stop by a big hospital. The place was made of made of white marble and it was siting in the middle of nowhere.
"Why on earth did they made a hospital in the middle of nowhere?" I asked Anubis and he shrugged his shoulders. "Who knows. Maybe they wanted to made people freak out when they want to enter," he say as I hit his arm.
"What? I'm just saying." he say I ignored him and walked into the place.
The place was pretty big. There was many coffee tables with old people playing games and drinking coffee and tea. Some of them are holding IV poles and walking around, mumbling to them self. There was a cat headed goddess on a walker walked pass and looked at me. I smiled at her and she said something in Egyptian and walked away, talking to her walker. There was a old man hugging a statue of a god, crying like he was afraid the statue will leave him and never return even if the statue was never alive.
Professor Bomba was talking to a hippo nurse. She was a hippo wearing a nurse's uniform. Her hair was pinned back by a nurse hat. Her make - up was tastily done for a hippo. Her stomach was so big she ether has a baby or it was a sign for eating too much cupcakes.
Anyway, I walked up to them and caught a piece of conversation they were having. "Well, it was done before, I'm not sure can it be done again..." her sentence was broken to half when she noticed I was walking towards them.
She smiled at me and said,"Welcome to Sunny Acers. My name is Tawart, the goddess of children (I think. I can't remember what goddess she is.). How may I help you?" she ask as I say, "Is General Ronin here?"
Her smile disappear and turned into a sad expression. "Yes he is here. His mortal body is in a very bad condition. It's better if you leave him here. And besides, you can't really bring him out of here. It's too dangerous." she say as I raised my eyebrow. "What do you mean he can't leave?"
"I'm not sure myself. But he can't leave, I have tried to bring him to the Hall of Judgement but where is always something blocking our way." she explain and I looked at her. "I had to take a very long journey to get here, alright? And I'm not leaving him here after all I've been through." I say as she sighed.
"Very well, I will bring him here. But I must warn you. It will be more harder to get back to the mortal world then you think with General Ronin on board." she say as she handed Professor Bomba some papers. "I need you to fill in some forms. if you don't mind." Tawart ask and Professor Bomba nodded and followed her to the back of the hospital.
Anubis walked towards me and rapped his arms around me from the back. "Listen," he say as he sighed into my hair. "I have to split. Lord Osiris wants me back at the hall. I will try to visit you as soon as possible, ok?" he say as I replied, "Alright, be safe. Tell my dad I say Hi."
He only nodded and pulled me closer. "I'll miss you," he say as he walked in front of me and kissed my forehead.
"I'll miss you too," I say as he opened a portal of darkness and walk towards it and disappeared. I sighed and waited at the counter for Professor Bomba to return with Tawart ang Ronin.
After what feel like forever, Professor Bomba returned with a jar in his hand and Tawaret walking behind him in his high heels. I am still wondering how she walk in those shoes without fallen over. I'm just saying...
The jar was decorated with many different types of pictures with gods and goddesses entering the hospital and other stuff. The was a few hieroglyphs writing 'Ronin'.
"Ok, I remember I say Ronin. Not a jar with his name on it." I say as I laughed to myself as I crossed my arms across my chest. He only smiled and start to explain to me the hole history of the jar and uses.
"This is no normal jar. It can hold the soul of the person just by writing his or her name on the jar. It's more safer to travel and not many monsters and feel there presents if they are in the jar." He say as he hold the jar near my ear.
I leaned closer to the jar and I can hear someone hitting on the walls of the jar. "Bomba! Let me out of this thing!" Ronin yelled and I can't stop myself laughing out loud.
"Man! I want the jar after this!" I say as my laugh started to die down. "Alright. I will give you the jar once we went back to Moonhaven. I will also give you a list of hieroglyphs so you can write the name of the person you want to trap in the jar." He say as I fist pumped into the air.
"Awesome!" I say as Professor Bomba turned towards Tawaret. "Thank you for your help, Tawaret." He say as the hippo smile at him which I find creepy.
"No problem at all, professor! Coma back anytime to help out, dear!" She say as I nodded at her. One new question, how did she know I like helping people? Some goddess.
"Well, no time to waste." I say as I took my sword out and put the blade over my shoulder. "Time to leave. We'll visit some day." I say as I waved at Tawaret and walked towards the door.
Once we boarded the boat, the boat leaved and I waved at Tawaret while she became a figure fading away.
After sailing for a long time, something swam under our boat. I looked towards the river and saw notting. "That's odd. I sware I hear- Oh My God!" my sentence was cut short when a monster rose from the lave.
It had creepy purple scaly skin and green reptile eyes full with anger and hate. It had sharp fangs and poise dripped from the end of each fang. The heat from the lava made his body so hot, you can't even go near it without sweating like mad.
I lose balance and fall on my behind, still trying to get up. "Professor! What the hell is this thing?!" I say as I hit my bracelets just in time when it shoot venom at me.
"I'm not sure! But I think it should be the Tjesu Heru!" he say as I looked at him while narrowly jumping before it's head stabbed on the wooden floor. "The What?!"
"The Tjesu Heru! A snake with two heads. One on it's neck and the other on it's tail. And it has dragon legs too!" He say as the monster roared and shrike at him.
I jumped in front of him and shield him before it can do any harm. "Where's the legs and other head?!" I asked as the boat rumbled from below.
Another head like the one in front of us came crushing through the floor board, leaving a huge hole there. The skin was so close to me I suddenly sweat like mad.
"Can you open a protal?" I ask as Professor Bomba nodded. "Good. Take the jar first and open a portal, I'll distract the snake." I say as Professor Bomba toke the jar and headed towards a safer place. Well, the most safe place under these conditions.
"Ok, buddy," I say to the snake. "It's just you and me."
It glared at me and strike. I conjured a huge fire ball and hit one of the heads. That didn't even stopped him one bit. It only whole it's head angryly and striked again.
"Diversion." I say as I side steped his attack and held my shield closer to me to block some heat, no such luck. "I need a diversion." I say as I jumped towards the highest part of the boat.
"Hey stupid!" I yelled and both his head looked at me. "Want some? Come and get me!" I say as I summoned a pool of fire.
The fire swirled around me like a tornado and I was on top of it, trying to control the fire.
I finally stopped when Tjesu Heru looked slightly smaller then me. I summoned both water and ice too, holding both the powers in my hand as weapons.
"Never mess with me again." I say as my voice hummed with power. I conjur all the magic I can until it formed a huge ball of magic.
"Say goodnight." I say before unleaching the magic at it. Both the heads rumbled into dust and I dropped back down on the boat. "That's why you never mess with me." I say as I dusted off some snake dust off my shirt.
I was about to check on Bomba when someone shoot an arrow at me. I looked up and saw a skelliton in full body armor landing on the boat. "Well, look who we have here," he say in a voice that sent chills down my back.
"Little . What a surprise! I never though I will meet face to face before." He say as I rolled my eyes at him.
"Well, I have a name, you know?" I say as fire start to danced around me again. "Right. Like I would want to know." He snort and I shouted a fire ball at him.
"Like I said," he say as he reapear leaning on a rock. "Little doesn't know me yet." He sat as I gritted my teeth slightly.
"What? You're The Lord of the idiots or something?" I say as he throw his head back laughing.
"Listen, doll. I always win in every competition I started." He say as he looked at me with his empty eye sockets. "And I will win this one, too."
"Professor! Done with that portal yet?!" I screamed at Bomb as I narrowly step sided his arrow before launching an arrow towards him. He turned into dust and reformed in front of me.
"Almost! Give me five more minutes!" He answered and I yelled, "We probably don't have five more minutes if you don't hurry!"
I losen another arrow but he keeps coming back to life. How does he do that?
Without thinking, I tried to summon all the power I have and destroy him at once. By the time be became dust, I was sweaty and slightly pale.
"Come on! I know you can do better then that!" He say as he reappeared and I groan at him. "When will you freaking die?!"
He smriked evily at me and say, "That's the hole point, doll. I can't die in the Duat. I will keep coming back to life." He explain and I ran towards Professor Bomba.
"Please tell me it's ready now," I say as the skull dude walked forward. "Yes. It is." He say as he handed my a cup of some liquid thing. "Drink this. It will take 60 seconds before the effect work." He say as both me and him drank the drink and he toke the jar with Ronin still yelling, "Get me outta here!"
"Time to die, for good" he say as he launched another arrow. I didn't know what else to do but screamed when I felt a tugging sensation in my stomach, as if I were in a car and the driver suddenly slammed on the breaks.
Then I found myself back in Ronin's room, dripping with sweat.
That's how I went missing.
After a refreshing shower and explaining to Both Ronin and the Leafmen how I save Ronin's life and telling them why I missed training, I went back to my room and showered again before changing into my sleep wear.
Both the bracelets and the nickels my dad gave me were on the table, shining in the moon light that slipped through my balcony.
I put on a short blue and red stripped pants and a white T-shirt before walking outside to enjoy the night air.
The cooling night air hit my face and brought the sweet smell of flowers and nature. I sighed in relieved. I'm finally home.
"Cool place you have here." Someone say behin immediatly turned towards the voice. It was Anubis.
He was wearing a red shirt with the logo The Doors faded on his shirt and black jeanswith combat boots. He was holding his jacket over his shoulder and had a hand jammed deep inside his pocket.
"Oh, Anubis. I didn't see you there." I say as I smiled at him. He walked towards me and I can smell his fragrances. He smelled like vanilla cupcakes.
"You looked tired." He joked and I yawned. "I conjured a lot of magic today. So don't judge me." As he chuckled at me and pulled me close.
"I never said I was going to judge you. I just say you were amazing today. We saw what you did. You were awesome." He say as I smiled at him. "Thanks,"
He smiled and pushed me back into my room. "Now, you need sleep. I will stay the night, if you want." He offered and I answered, "Ok." And walked towards my bed.
"By the way," he say as he toke off his boots and flopped on my bed. "By any chance, are you busy tomorrow?" He ask as I lay down next to him.
"Yeah, after what Ronin had done. He says it's better to don't let me join training. He's scared Mandrake will come." I say as Anubis pulled the covers on my bad so it covered me as he got out of bed and went to hang his jacket and his shirt.
"In that case," he say as he yanked his shirt off. "Do you want to go back to the Stomper world or whatever you call the mortal world, to get some coffee?" He say as he walked back to my bed, half naked.
"Sure. But first," I yawned as he pulled the blankets over him self. "I want to sleep. Goodnight." I say as I slept one side as he placed a hand on my waist.
"Goodnight, my love." And I drifted into sleeps warm embrace.
