To R e d: Of course I read your reviews, they're very entertaining to read and I can't thank you and all the other reviewers enough for taking the time to type one. x) And haha, I'm glad you enjoyed the last chapter, strangely enough I just have a lot of fun writing Splendid's character (he has a tendency to pop up in a lot of the stuff I write hehe).

Uhm, and regarding the bunch of reviews that I got posting requests, uh yeah, as you can see from my summary – I'm not accepting any new requests right now. Though all the requests posted in the reviews are ones that are already on my to do list, so I'm kinda confused here. ._.

Anyways, second request for Ai shadow-chan!

'Another found dead' lined the top of the front page of the newspaper in large, bold letters meant to attract people into reading it.

Which did its job like it was supposed to as large eyes hurriedly scanned the much smaller words of the article. The petite redhead could feel her hands trembling as they gripped the papers, teeth chewing nervously on her lower lip the longer she kept reading.

The suspect is still at larger and so far there have been no clues to their identity.

These stories is the reason why she's scared to leave work by herself.

A shadow suddenly appeared over her tiny frame as a hand reached over her shoulder to pluck the newspaper from her grasp, pulling it to the person behind her. Gasping, she spun in her chair, turning away from her desk to her boss standing behind her who was now reading the article; stone faced as usual.

"Another one, huh," was muttered in his usual monotone, lidded gaze sliding from the words to his doe eyed employee; he raised a brow at her. "Really Flaky...you need to stop scaring yourself by reading these type of things."

"I...I...well.." She tried, eyes darting to stare at her fingers wringing together. Though he was sweet to her, it was still intimidating to look at her boss straight in his emotionless eyes. "...I n-need to check it though...you k-know just in case if I have to be c-careful..."

Blinking at the female, Splendont folded the newspaper with a chuckle once her words registered, slipping the papers to hold underneath his arm as his hands slid into his pockets; he sent her a minuscule smirk that one wouldn't notice unless they were gazing closely at his lips.

"I don't understand why you worry about that when I always bring you too and from work," one hand lifted from his pocket to brush playfully through her long hair, "and I would never let anything happen to my adorable secretary."

Flaky felt her cheeks warm at his words; though his voice came out soft and playful - his expression remained unchanged. She couldn't help but think it was weird how he could keep his face from showing emotion so easily. She herself would never be able to pull off that feat.

Another funny thing she has to note is that he only ever lets emotion leak into his voice - and very rarely - into expressions around her. All the other employees gets the usual cold, unmoving Splendont.

She guesses that this is what you call favoritism.

Especially since he now brings her to work and drops her off home once he's noticed her paranoia and the fact that she's always reluctant to leave the safety of the office late at night. It made her feel bad to see her fellow coworkers constantly get scolded or treated callously by their boss while she's always met with praise and playfulness from the stern man.

But at the same time she's relieved that she doesn't get pinned with his cold attitude; she's sure that she would wilt beneath his hard glare if it was ever landed on her.

"Y-you know," she muttered, staring down at her lap and poking her index fingers together shyly. "You d-don't have to bring me to and from work a-all the time...I don't want to be a b-burden for you."

Glancing up when she heard a sigh, Flaky caught her boss gazing off to the side, one hand running through his slicked back hair, cheeks lined with a very faint pink as he responded to her. "I already told you I don't mind. Your place is on the way anyways, you don't need to worry about it."

She still seemed concerned as she continued wringing her hands restlessly. "Uhm...b-but.."

The redhead was instantly silenced as a hand raised in front of her face, ruby eyes then drifted up to the neutral expression. Seeing that he got her to shush Splendont decided to continue. "Anyways, you finished your reports, didn't you? Come bring them to my office." He finished, sticking his hand back in his pocket and patiently waited for his fidgety assistant to gather up her papers and trail hurriedly after him to which he slowed down a bit once he caught her struggling to keep up with his long strides.

Reaching his office, the redheaded male pulled and held open the door for the small female to go first, his lidded crimson eyes leisurely trailed down her back to her rounded bottom displayed perfectly through her tight pencil skirt.

God, he loved the office outfits.

Closing the door behind him, Splendont glanced to see Flaky still with her back to him; facing his desk and reached in his pocket to pull out his pen and dropped it on the ground. "Oops," he muttered, catching Flaky's attention as he walked around her to get to his desk, not bothering to stop to pick it back up. "Sorry Flaky, could you pick up my pen for me?"

"Eh?" She blinked owlishly, before spinning around to see the thin black pen laying on the gray carpet, "oh, ok."

Crimson eyes narrowed appreciatively at the sight of the petite woman bending over and providing him with a full view.

Sometimes he loves how innocent and naive Flaky could be, he's done the pen drop how many times already and she always gets it no matter what. She never questions, complains, or send him skeptical looks when he doesn't bother to get it himself.

So adorably obedient.

It's nice having a loyal and submissive employee that doesn't talk back. Exactly why she deserves the special treatment he gives her.

His eyes gave her a quick scan when she straightened back up and made her way over to him, the corners of his lips tugged down into a disappointed frown at the sight of her papers blocking her chest from his view.

She may not be the most busty woman he's ever seen but she was still a decent enough size for him to enjoy.

It just sucks she was very modest and always fastened every single button on her shirt, never leaving an inch of cleavage or even flesh showing below her neck. She was so very different from the other females in the workplace who purposely chose short, tight skirts and have their cleavage on display; faces plastered with piles upon piles of makeup and perfume hoping to get on his good side and seduce him into giving them promotions.

Too bad that the heavy perfume gives him headaches and just serves to piss him off while their painted faces just makes him wonder how hideous they most look underneath it all if they feel the need to cover their mugs with exaggerated amounts of products.

It gives him relief to see that the only makeup that Flaky wears is lip gloss with only a decent amount of perfume on her person. Atleast with her natural look he knows that she'll still be cute as usual if she were to ever wake up in his bed one day.

And he will get her in his bed.

One day.

He's not sure what day that will be but he does know its inevitable that she'll be in his bed.

He wonders if she's as quiet in bed as she is at work or if she's secretly a loud, wild tiger in bed.

That'll be a treat to find out.

Gathering her papers from out of her hands, Splendont placed the small stack in front of himself as she took a seat. He then slid over a piece of paper to her.

"Here, read this over for me and tell me if it looks good." He murmured, catching her nod as she gingerly picked it up and began to read while he went over her own papers.

A couple seconds later and the shrill ringing of his phone went off, without bothering to take his eyes off the paper he reached over and picked up the annoying device and pressed it to his ear.

Nibbling on her lip, Flaky glanced up from what she was reading and took in the furrowed brow of her boss. Whatever the call was about, it did nothing but dampen his mood as he hissed angry words into the receiver before promptly slamming the phone back down.

"Uhm...s-sir?" She squeaked, hiding half of her face behind the sheet of paper as she gazed at his glaring face in concern.

Remembering that she was in the room, he released a deep sigh and rubbed the bridge of his nose to calm himself down. "Don't worry Flaky, I'm fine. It's just that apparently that blue haired idiot's company has something up their sleeve that'll push theirs above mine."

Ah, she should've figured that the only thing that could truly set her boss off is the rival company that belongs to Splendid. He's always managed to keep his company at the very top in the business world but the smiling blue haired man has proven to be quite the thorn in his side with his constant attempts to overthrow Splendont from the top.

But her redheaded boss still always manages to find out what his rival is doing and counters him.

She always wondered how he always found out what Splendid planned on doing.

But she just chalked it up to the fact that her boss is just extremely smart and cunning that it's impossible to top him.

"And like always it seems that my informant is once again useless as hell when it comes to finding out just what that idiot is planning on doing," he grumbled, still rubbing circles around the flesh of his nose. "Looks like I'll just have find out on my own again." He murmured beneath his breath causing Flaky to tilt her head in confusion unable to catch his last words.

Reaching over to pluck the paper out of her grasp, Splendont placed it on top of her report and moved the small stack off to the side with his now usual neutral expression set on his face. "Well, I'm calling it a day already. Ready to go home?" He asked her, standing and straightening his suit and she could have swore she saw a glint of metal on the inside of his suit.

Shaking it off as the need to sleep, she smiled and nodded her head as she stood up to follow him out of his office.

Walking to his car, Splendont could practically feel the woman's worried gaze burning into the back of his head. Turning back, he sent her the barest hint of a smile to hopefully calm her down.

"Really Flaky, this isn't something you need to concern yourself with. I'll figure it out on my own." He chuckled, slowing down and holding an arm out for her to hold onto.

Gently placing a hand on his arm, she continued to stare up at him. "W-well...if you need anything, I-I'll be more than happy to h-help. I am your assistant after all." She giggled.

The corner of his lip tilted up in a smirk at her words. "I'll keep that in mind." Fishing out his keys he unlocked the passenger door for her and waited for her to get in before closing it and heading over to the driver side.

The car ride to her house was silent, Flaky noticed the way his fingers gripped the steering wheel, his eyes hard and unmoving from the road and she could just feel the irritation flowing off of him in waves. Deciding it was best to just leave him alone to cool off, she turned her attention to just staring blankly out the window.

Suddenly the car screeched to a halt, knocking the redhead out of her zone as she took notice that they've pulled over next to a sidewalk.

"Huh? W-what-"

"Stay here, I have to do something." Splendont told her hurriedly, unbuckling his seatbelt and throwing open his door. Taking out his car keys he tossed them onto her lap to hold. "Just watch my keys and lock the door, hopefully I won't take too long."

Before she could ask him anymore questions, he had slammed the door shut and jogged ahead to catch up with what she could see as some pink haired woman. Clutching the keys, Flaky watched as the two chatted while they continued to walk before turning around a corner and disappearing from sight.

Did Splendont just leave her?

For another woman?

Did he ditch her to be left all alone in the car to get with some random girl?

Or who knows, maybe that was his girlfriend or something, it's not like she knows about him and what he does outside of work after all.

After a couple minutes have passed and still no return of her boss, Flaky began to get worried. Especially when the sun was starting to disappear.

Squeezing the keys, the redhead contemplated what she should do.

Wait like he had told her to do?

Or suck it up and go find out where he went?

Sighing, she decided she might as well atleast look to see if he's nearby or if he really had for some reason ditched her and left her with his car.

Stepping out of the car and locking it, Flaky jogged down the sidewalk, keys jangling noisily in her grasp.

She almost ran right past an alleyway when a small whimper reached her ears. Holding the keys firmly so they don't make any noise, the redhead silently backed up to peek in the alleyway.

Her large eyes almost immediately caught the familiar sight of red that was her bosses hair in the dim lighted alley, though she did notice that he was facing away from her along with the fact that there was someone kneeling in front of him.

She quickly moved to hide behind the corner when she caught his head turn to look behind him. Once she felt it was safe, the woman peeked back in to see him remove his hand from covering the mouth of that pink haired woman she saw earlier.

Her eyes widened at the trails of crimson that leaked from the woman's nose and mouth. And she wasn't entirely sure but she's pretty positive that the woman had a swollen eye that was sure to develop into a black eye at one point.

She doesn't understand what is happening.

What was her boss doing?

"You need to be a tad bit quieter miss, it wouldn't do you any good if someone were to hear." He murmured in a low tone, watching emotionlessly as the woman sneered defiantly and without a seconds hesitation, spit a glob of blood that had pooled in her mouth.

The man didn't even flinch as the red liquid dripped down his face, but Flaky did catch a quick movement of his arm along with the woman's head snapping to the left with enough force to knock her entire body to the side.

His leg moved to slam his foot down onto her ankle roughly, her mouth opened to release a scream and the man speedily darted down to smother her cry with a gloved hand. "Now answer my question. What does that idiot you call a boss have up his sleeve?" He asked calmly, twisting his foot and digging the sole of his shoe into her delicate flesh as he pressed his hand more onto her mouth to keep her cries muffled.

Once he could see that she wouldn't scream, he moved his hand to await her answer.

"Fuck you!" She yelled as loud as she could, spurring him to backhand her hard enough to send her mind reeling and eyes seeing white for a moment. While she was recovering, he took another quick glance behind him.

It was a good thing this area was practically deserted.

"I'm going to have to turn down your invitation; you're far from my type of woman." He murmured, staring down uncaringly at her cradling her head and groaning. His crimson eyes soon caught sight of the pinkette's locket hanging around her neck and reached down to yank it off.

Clicking it open, he looked inside at the picture of a familiar blue haired woman. "Oh, what a surprise, Petunia," he mumbled, remembering his very clean and orderly employee, his eyes drifted to the other side of the locket that said 'BFF's Forever'. "Hmm, what an even bigger surprise, who knew that my employee was best friends with that idiot's secretary?"

"But that makes this much easier," closing the locket and tossing it onto the floor, the redhead reached into his suit and pulled out an item that made the pink haired woman's eyes widen in fear. Clicking the gun, he held it up to her forehead. "Now tell me, what is Splendid planning?"

When there was no immediate answer, the man's lips twisted up into a devious smirk as he stared down at the shaking woman sadistically. "Tell me...or else something tragic will happen to Petunia."

At the mention of her best friend, the woman's pink eyes filled with tears as she grabbed the locket and held it securely to her chest. "I don't know! I swear, I don't know, Splendid hasn't told anyone yet about what he's doing...please," she begged with a whimper. "Please don't hurt Petunia."

However, her pleas didn't seem to reach the man as he stared at the area above her head, his free hand stroking his chin contemplatively. "Hmm, that's too bad."

"Looks like I don't have any use for you then." Smiling, he placed an elbow on his bent knee, and laid his cheek on his palm. His other hand moved up to point the barrel at her head, giving her only a few seconds to realize what his words meant before his finger pressed onto the trigger.

The silencer did its job as the bullet flew quietly from the chamber to lodge and force its way through its target before bursting back out through her head in a gory mess.

As he sat there, staring at the unmoving body in satisfaction, Flaky was still watching from around the corner with wide eyes and her heart pounding a mile a minute.

She couldn't believe what she just witnessed.

Does that mean that all the murders that's been in the papers was because of Splendont?

Seeing his suit and the wet splotches marring it. It suddenly made sense to her on why he always seemed to have a brand new suit every couple weeks.

Her hands moved up to cover her hanging mouth when the jangle of keys reached her ears.

Crap.

She forgot that she was still holding his keys.

Face paling of all color when she saw him stand up, she turned and pressed her back to the wall. She was just about to take off running when the sound of her name reached her.

"Didn't I tell you to wait in the car?"

Gulping, she peeled herself from the wall and carefully peeped around the corner to catch the malicious crimson that was her bosses eyes, the color almost seemed to glow in the dim lighting and the smile on his face sent a shiver down her spine, wishing that she really had decided to just wait in the car like she was supposed to.

The blood streaks across his pale skin didn't help in making him any less menacing as he lifted a gloved hand to press his index finger to his smiling lips.

"This'll be our little secret." Placing the safety back onto his gun, he slipped it back into his suit as he gave her his full attention.

"I'm doing this for the good of the company, you understand, right? After all, you did say that you would help me if I needed it, didn't you?" His eyes narrowed as his smile widened. "My adorable, little assistant."

I'm so sorry Ai-chan, this was just supposed to be comedy with a perverted Splendont, I don't know what happened at the end. xD
