Chapter 23 - Name Changes
Kim's POV - 2 Weeks Later
"So how's Julie doing?" I asked Grace who had just been round to the Krupnick's to check on Julie & the twins,
"She's fine, and so are the twins, but Julie has to stay on bed rest for the next few weeks, so its up to Milton to do the night feeds," She said and I smiled rubbing my 8 & a half month bumb, "What about you, how are you and baby?" She asked,
"Uncomfortable, I cant get comfy anymore, when I do she/he moves so I have to move," I said and she sighed,
"Well, this just proves no good can come from having sex with Jack, I mean you have like 14 kids now," She joked and I chuckled,
"I would say no good comes from it, a lot of good comes from it," I smirked,
"Ew gross, I dont wanna hear this talk," Peyton said walking into the room covering her ears and I chuckled,
"Right, well, I've gotta get going, I have to pick Isaac up from school," Grace said and walked out,
"Hey Peyt, where's your dad?" I asked her,
"He's in the building shed out back with Troy, Nate, Noah & JD." She said,
"What?! How I havent seen him come through here?" I said confused,
"I know, they've been going through the garage doors so you wont see anything they bring in to the babies room," She said and I rolled my eyes,
"Well come over here and give mama a hug I'm getting bored down here," I said and she smiled walking over to hug me and I squeezed her,
"Okay mum, your choking me, mum, mum!" She exclaimed and I laughed,
"Kimberly Brewer let go of your daughter," Jack said walking in smiling and I smiled letting go of Peyton,
"I'm gonna go finish painting the room with the others," She said and walked out,
"Um, hello, kiss here please," I said and Jack smiled and gave me a kiss on the lips,
"Hi baby," He said and then kissed my stomach, "Hi baby girl," He said and I smiled, "So did you tell Grace it's a girl?" He asked, sitting down next to me with his arm around my shoulder,
"No, I decided not to until she's here, so when do I get to see this baby room?" I asked him,
"Soon, the girls are just putting the finishing touches over the paint they did on saturday, and then the boys and gonna put all of the furniture in and then the girls are gonna put everything else in," He said and I smiled as he put his hand on my stomach and softly rubbed it,
"I cant wait till she's here, and I can to hold her," I said and he nodded kissing my head, "By the way, where's Gabe?" I asked him,
"He is with Olivia, Jacob & Skylar in the play room, I told them that if they needed anything go to the girls and not to bother you because your having a lazy day," He explained,
"Well, I hate lazy days, there so boring, I cant even get up and clean this house because I can barely walk now," I said and he kissed my cheek,
"Like you said it'll all be worth it in 2 weeks," He said and I nodded,
"Hey dad," Troy said walking in,
"Yes son?" He asked,
"Belle said their done with the re-touching or whatever," He said,
"Okay, lets go move the furniture in," He said and looked at me, "And you, stay here, no trying to sneak a peak until I come and get you," He said and stood up, "Stay," He ordered,
"Woof Woof," I said and he playfully glared,
Bella's POV
"Okay, so, put the rocking chair next to the window so you can easily put her back into the crib when she's asleep or whatever," I said and Nathan & Troy carried the rocking chair that they built over to the window putting it down and Noah put the cushions on it so its comfy,
"Right, all the toys are in the toy box," Nicole said closing the lip on the toy box that the boys also built,
"Okay, everythings done, I'll go get mum," Dad said walking out the room and we all smiled walking out onto the landing,
Kim's POV
"Close your eyes," Jack said helping me walk down the hallway and I giggled,
"Jack my eyes are damn closed," I said and he chuckled as I heard a door open and he led me into a room,
"And open," He said removing his hands and I opened my eyes and gasp, the room had been painted baby pink and the entier furniture was white, infront of the main window at the opisit of the room was a changing table with draws underneath with all the baby stuff in in such as nappies, rash cream ect, on the left of the room was another window which a white rocking chair with pink padding was with a small white book shelf next to it with all the baby books, then there was a white wardrobe with chester draws on the bottom of it and I smiled as I opened it and saw all the baby clothes were hung up nicely and neatly, then there was some white shelfs next to the wardrobe with baby shoes and I smiled once gain, on the right side of the room, there was a white crib with pink padding, bedding and ribbons around it, then on the wall right next to the door was painted in white,
You are the closest thing to heaven I have ever been...
And I smiled with tears in my eyes, I smiled even more when arms wrapped around my waist,
"What do you think?" Jack asked me,
"Its amazing," I said crying,
"Then why are you crying mummy?" Skylar asked me.
"Because I'm happy baby," I explained,
"And when the babies born, I'm gonna put her name in wood on the wall above the crib," He said and I nodded smiling,
"Thank you, all, so much," I said smiling at the kids, "I'm so proud of all of you, for helping you father and for doing this for your little sister," I said and they nodded,
"Its fine mum, we're okay with it," Noah said and I smiled hugging him,
Jack's POV - 10pm
"Hey where is everyone?" Kim asked when I came into the living room after putting bathing and putting Jacob to sleep,
"Troy is dropping Maddy of at home, Bella's in her room, Kat is studdying for the test she has tomorrow, Nate is watching a movie with Peyton, Nicole, Noah, JD & Skylar in his room and Jacob, Olivia & Gabe are asleep, why?" I said sitting down,
"Just wondering," She said laying her head on my shoulder,
"Hey mum, dad," A voice said and I turned and saw Bella stood by the door,
"Hey sweetie, whats up?" Kim asked her as she came and sat on the coffee table,
"I need to speak to you about something," She said fiddling with her hands,
"What is it?" I asked worriedly,
"Well, I've been thinking a lot lately, about everything, and Brett and all," She said nervously,
"Honey what is it, you can tell us." I said, and she took a deep breath.
"I wanna change my name." She explained,
"To Isabella Jordan James?" Kim asked nervously,
"What?! No no off course not, god never," She said and me & Kim both visibly relaxed, "I've told Brett that no matter what he can never become my dad and that he's 17 & a half years too late," She said and we nodded, "My name is Isabella Jordan Crawford-Brewer, and you named me Crawford-Brewer, because you were engaged when you changed my name, I wanna change my name from Crawford-Brewer, to Brewer," She said,
"How come?" Kim asked,
"Its just, there's no reason why I have to have Crawford in my name, you dont mum, and I want the same surname are the rest of you, because daddy, your my daddy, and your a Brewer, and I want to feel like officially I am apart of the Brewer family, because I'm biologically I'm not a Brewer," She explained,
"We understand, if thats what you want, then we can change your name to Brewer, but Bella, no matter what, you've always been and always will be a Brewer," I said and she nodded,
"I know," She said and hugged us,
