Chapter 28 - Look Who's Back
Troy's POV - 27th March
"Happy birthday to you," I woke up to voices singing, "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Troy, happy birthday to you," I smiled opening my eyes to see my family all stood holding presents,
"Happy 18th Troy!" Skylar exclaimed jumping on my bed excitedly and I chuckled pulling her into a hug,
"Thanks guys," I said and they all sat down around my room and put my presents on my bed,
"Here, no one wants to see your chest," Kat said and through me a tshirt and I playfully glared but put the shirt on,
"I can't believe your 18, and that Bella's turning 18 in 1 month, you're all growing up so quickly," Mum said holding Robin and I smiled,
"Yeah, but, the amount of kids you and dad keep having, you've got enough for another 18yrs, and then when Rob's all grown up, you'll have a ton of grandkids to keep ya busy," Bella said and we all chuckled,
"Yeah well, Robin's the last one for us, next is grandkids, but not for another few years," She said looking at us and we nodded,
"Right well, thank you for the presents, but I have to get ready," I said and they all nodded and walked out,
Kim's POV
I walked into the living room after putting Robin down for a nap and saw Bella sat on the couch with a papers all over the coffee table and Gabe sat next to her on the couch,
"Whats this?" I asked,
"Well, me and Troy need to start planning for our 18th birthday party, we decided we want a joint one, because it'll be better," She said and I nodded, "Troy wrote down all of his ideas and there great, so all we need is to send out invitations and book a venue," She explained and I sat down next to Gabe who smiled.
"Yeah, and we still need to plan for Kat's 17th which is 2 weeks after yours, then Nathan's 16'th which is 3 weeks after Kat's, then we have the twins 15 during the summer, and then in september, Noah's 14," I said,
"Well luckily, after Noah's birthday, we dont have anymore this year, well, except Olivia's 5th birthday in November," She said and I nodded,
Troy's POV
"Hey Troy! Happy birthday!" Anna said opening the door and I smiled,
"Hey Anna, thanks," I said walking in,
"Maddy! Troy's here!" She yelled up the stairs and seconds later I heard footsteps running down and saw Maddy run into the room and she jumped into my arms causing me to catch her as she wrapped her legs around my waist,
"Happy birthday!" She exclaimed and I chuckled fixing our position so I was holding her probably,
"Thankyou," I said and she pulled away from the hug and kissed me,
"Ahem!" A voiec said clearing there throat and we broke apart and turned to see uncle Eddie,
"Just because of the fact that its your birthday Troy, I wont say anything about what I just saw, but because of the fact that you are now classed as an adult and my daughter is a minor, I suggest you remove your hands from her butt, immediately," He said and I carefully placed Maddy on the floor whilst she rolled her eyes at her dad,
"Eddie, leave them alone," Anna said pushing him into the living room and shutting the door behind her,
"Happy birthday babe!" Maddy said smiling,
"Thanks baby," I said and gave her another kiss,
"Come on, I cant wait to give you your present," She said and pulled me upstairs,
Poppy's POV
"Hey Taylor, can me & Niall talk to you please?" I asked nicely and she nodded,
"Sure," She said and walked with me to the living room where Niall was, and he helped me sit down as I am now 7 & a half months pregnant,
"So Taylor, me & Poppy wanted to talk to you about a few things, you know the baby in Pops stomach?" He asked,
"Yeah," She said smiling,
"Well, in 6 weeks the baby the baby will be born, which is why we've painted the room next to yours," He explained and she nodded, "Now we were wondering, if you wanted your room re-done, so it can officially be your room," He added,
"Can it be pink?" She asked,
"Yeah sweetie," I said smiling,
"Okay then," She said smiling,
"And um, well, you know how the lady from social services was here the other day, well, me & Niall have spoke about it, and we were wondering if you would be okay with us adopting you," I said,
"What does that mean?" She asked confused,
"It means, that legally, we would be your parents, and that you could stay here living with us," He explained,
"Is that okay with you?" I asked her,
"Will my name be Brewer?" She asked,
"If you want it to be," I said nodding,
"Okay!" She said excitedly whilst throwing her hands up in the air,
Troy's POV
"Okay, okay, okay!" Maddy giggled pushing me away from her neck which I was kissing, we are now at my house,
"Oh come on, I was just getting started," I said smiling,
"Yeah well, maybe if your good boy, then later we can finish off," She smirked and I smiled,
"I'm down with that." I said and kissed her forehead as she giggled,
"Troy! Come down here please!" Mum yelled up the stairs and I stood up helping Mads up,
"Come on," I said and pulled her downstairs and started to tickle her on the way, we walked into the hall at the front entrance and my arms were wrapped around her waist as she giggled,
"Whats up?" I asked mum,
"Look who's back," She said with no expression
"Hey baby," A voice said and I turned, my smile immediately dropped when I saw Lindsay stood there smiling,
"Dont call me that," I said annoyed,
"Happy birthday!" She said smiling,
"What are you doing here? Jason said you were on a business trip," I said,
"Well I couldnt miss my son's birthday now could I," She said smiling,
"I'm not your son," I said annoyed,
"Troy, off course you are, anyway, I got you an amazing present!" She said excitedly whilst I remained still, "Here they are! John! Jason! Hurry up," She said and in walked John & Jason carrying a ton of boxes and Hannah came running in behind, and smiled at me and I smiled at her, "I got you, a new phone, an ipad, a laptop, a tv, a projecter," She rambled,
"I dont care, I dont want it, any of it," I stated,
"Oh dont be silly," She said,
"Im not, you cant by me Lindsay, I'm not your son, your nothing to me, so take it all back, or give it to Jason, because I dont want it," I said annoyed,
"Do not be so ungrateful Troy! I am your mother!" She shouted,
"No your not! She's my mother! Not you!" I said pointing at mum,
"No she isnt! She is your step mum, I'm your mother!" She said angrily,
"Stop saying that cause it isnt true, now get out of my parents house before I cll the police and get you arrested for harrasment!" I said angrily and sat on the sofa and I heard the doors shut,
"Um, Sorry about her," I heard John say, as little footsteps walked closer to me.
"Happy birthday Troy," Hannah said looking at me and I smiled at her,
"Thanks Hannah-Banana," I said and hugged her,
"Right, Han, we gotta get going, sorry again for Lindsay," John said and they walked out.
"You okay?" Maddy said sitting in my lap and I sighed nodding and wrapped my arms around her waist.
"Well, on a happy note," Mum said smiling and turned off the light and Maddy moved of my lap,
"Happy birthday to you," They sang as Dad came out holding a cake and I smiled, "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Troy! Happy birthday to you, hippip hurray! Hippip Hurray! Hippip Hurray!" They said and I blew out the candles.
